We made a reservation for Saturday December 27th to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We were seated promptly and the service ended there. We waited for 20 minutes and a waiter/waitress never came to our table. The restaurant was only about half full, plenty of open tables available. We watched as a table that was seated after us and knew the GM were served drinks before anyone even came over to our table. We got up and left and told the hostess who was very unapologetic and only offered for us to speak with the GM if we wanted. We declined because at that point there was nothing they could do. We went to Pellana in Peabody and we received amazing service and food. Do not bother going to Teresa's Prime. The service is horrible and the place appears mediocre at best. read more

I had been looking forward to eating here for sometime since we have had several great meals at their Middleton restaurant. My wife and I went here last night. Place looks great from the outside but when you enter you know you're in the basement. Our waiter was a bit tentative but good all around. I had a draught beer and my wife had a Margherita. Her drink was rather same when compared to other places. We ordered Calamari. Menu said it was served with a sweet & sour type sauce. We thought it would be on the side but it is on the Calamari making it limp and soggy. I was interested in some type of steak dish but only saw steak tips @ $22. Too pricey for no salad and only 1 choice of a side.I opted for scallops in Ritz crumbs for the same price. My wife ordered a meatball sub. Also a side of onion rings. Food arrived in a timely fashion my wife' s sub was a good portion but roll was not cut in half. My scallops were cooked well but rather bland. We both ordered French fries which were the weirdest ever scene. The look like elephant ears and each one needed to be cut in half in order to eat. Not very crisp and under seasoned. Onion rings are over breaded making seem like the frozen variety. My wife thought her meatballs were flavorless but I thought they tasted fine and were moist not dried out. The Boston TV restaurant shows always make this place look good and I guess that is their job but I'm very hesitant to try their Prime venue upstairs. Definitely overpriced for the food and atmosphere. Think twice before you venture here. read more

Complimentary valet was a nice touch, especially on a freezing winter night. We were seated right away, but our waitress took about 15-20 minutes to greet us. Tables were not full and our waitress maybe had one or two other tables. In the meantime the very attentive busboys came by twice to refill our waters. No apology on the wait. Ordered a martini and our meals. Waitress seemed to be very unfamiliar with the menu and could not answer our questions about the very pricey Japanese steaks. She said "they say the flavor is amazing." Has the staff not tried everything on the menu or at least researched it? Our appetizers were out before the martini. We asked for the martini twice more. Waitress went MIA. Busboy let her know we were looking for it and she just stood at her computer for awhile before finally going to bar for us. Finally arrived and it wasn't matching the menu's description. Waitress said she doesn't add the garnishes unless asked for. Ok...Fondue app advertised with "traditional accompaniments." Bowl of cheese came with 4 small cornichon pickles, the soggiest sweet potato fries of all time and a bunch of greasy potato chips. Pub food. Very strange. Was expecting at least some bread and perhaps some meats or vegetables. Asked for more bread to use for fondue. Never came. While eating apps our entrees were brought out to us. We sent them back right away. At this point we considered walking out. Complete disaster. Now our halibut and Japanese steak ($100 worth of entrees) are going to sit under heat lamps. Great. Asked three times if they could take our apps before done with them. Finally asked for the bread again and also asked waitress if she was aware of the entrees being sent out. She said no with a lock of shock and let me know that they would make new ones for us "honey." Oh boy. She finally brings a large stack of bread (unnecessary) and we finish our apps. Of course our entrees come out right away. Not convinced they were not the original plates. Meat cooked as requested - very tasty but chewy, not tender. Sides of au gratin & mushrooms decent. Manager recommends a glass of wine to my husband that does not pair with his food so we suggest something else. It was on the house for the entree mixup. Halibut is good. Substituted one side of mushrooms for the haricot verts. They took away couscous as well. Green beans were undercooked to the point of being tough to chew and swallow. Inedible and made up 50% of the dish. Fish was tender and tasty. Owner came over to ask what happened and apologize. He said dessert was on the house. Cookies and milk and key lime pie. Both were good, nothing to write home about. Overall a complete strike out for us for a $200 meal. Not sure how this place will compete with Capital Grille or even Burton's with this level of service. Inexperience abounds. One star for nice atmosphere, another for food being good but not great and the third for the owner's attempts to make right a very unpleasant experience. read more

Nick, I hope you read this. This review is for our third trip to your place. My wife and I don't mind traveling a distance for a great meal. Until the last 12 months, we were regulars at The Coach Grill in Wayland. Then we found your place. The first two visits were just fantastic. Especially, the second. I had what might be the very best filet ever. And the crab cakes were just outstanding, maybe the best we have ever had. Visit three changed. First, the crab cakes were not nearly as good as the last two trips. Yes they were good, "but". Then, when my 12oz filet was put down in front of me, I could tell by looking at it, that it would not be as good as the past. And, I was not wrong. I would say it was the "cheap" end of a choice piece of filet. Very disappointing. And the crab cakes were not up to par. They were good, but not outstanding like in the past. And, for your information, just within the last week, I received similar info from some one else who had the same experience. Now, I can't verify this next part of our experience with anyone else, but read on. This happened to us while we dined at the, bar. First, let me say that our {female-I can't remember her name} bartender did a great job. But, what I just don't under stand this part. At 6 PM, a male bartender came on duty. In the next hour and fifteen minutes we were there before we left, this guy never even acknowledged us. Not one word. He could have at the very least said to us: Hi I'm Fred{or whatever} And if you need anything, give me a holler. Or, maybe, just give a quick Hi folks everything ok? Nope, not one word. This was not a good experience. Ordered the Lobster Bisque. Lots of lobster but, Bisque is not hot to begin with and when you add cold lobster it makes the soup cold. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Drinks took a long time coming but were good. The bread basket was nice and plentiful. I ordered Filet and Lobster tail with green beans. I asked what was in the beans and she said salt and pepper only. When the meal arrived I had some broccoli vegatable and was told I ordered that. When I protested a little they got the beans for me which were loaded with onion and garlic so I sent that back as well. The beef was an end cut and full of grissle. It was also under cooked. The lobster tail was so overcooked it was hard to get it out of the shell. The manager stopped by the table and asked how the food was and when I told them how I felt he said they are striving for perfect and offered to have the meal remade. I declined. When the bill came he did take my meal off which I thought was a nice gesture. I am not sure we will ever go back. read more

NOT SO FAST - This is my first feedback on Yelp. The night could not have started better. Even called earlier in the day to get a table when Open Table said booked solid and we were accommodated. We had a nice waitress (Julie) and the glass of Caymus was yummy. We ordered three app's - Bacon was delicious, Calamari was solid and my daughter had to have some shrimp which hit the spot. So far so good! Then the night hit a solid brick wall. After our plates were cleared from the Apps we waited, and waited and waited. "Tick Tock Clarice" At 30 minutes after clearing our table my kids and wife were getting a bit restless. At 50 minutes we had enough. I went to find the manager as he was too busy to stop by and inform us about any delays and when I found him he wasn't aware of the issue. He came back to me and said lets get the food to your table and I will see what I can do. Another 10 minutes passed and still nothing. We decided to leave after an hour of no food and no solid information. I think they lost our slip. I gave our waitress a $60 tip and we left. Ordered a pizza from our favorite spot and finished the night at home with the family. They obviously lost the kitchen last night. too bad. I would have loved to get the main course but it was really the lack of attention from the management that will make my one and only trip to TP my last. read more

On January 16, four of my colleagues and I had a business dinner meeting at Teresa's Prime. The complimentary valet parking was a nice touch. We were greeted by a very pleasant and friendly hostess. We started at the bar where we had some appetizers and cocktails. The bacon was to die for. We also enjoyed the crab cakes (all crab with minimal bread crumbs) and oysters as well. The bartender was extremely personable and attentive. From there we sat down for dinner. Our waiter was prompt and informed us of the house specials. Everyone ordered salads and I decided on the lobster bisque. The salads were creative and fresh and the lobster bisque was extremely flavorful with hunks of lobster..delicious. Next, everyone ordered steak with most of us ordering the bone-in rib eye. What was really surprising that unlike other steakhouses, the meals here come with two complimentary sides. The steaks arrived, cooked to perfection and were so flavorful. My sides, creamed spinach and asparagus were perfect. As we were having dinner, the owner introduced himself and wanted to ensure everything was to our standards. For dessert we had an order of the assorted cookies which included home-made warm chocolate cookies and key lime pie. What a great meal. No need to drive into Boston. We will be back soon. read more

Very disappointing overall. Waited 5 mins for host to come out front. We were seated promptly after she arrived. Our server took another 5 mins to come over. He took our drink order and wanted our meal order at the same time. We asked him to please just get our drinks and then we would order. It took 15 mins for 1 cocktail and a bottle of wine to be delivered. After he opened my wine and poured it he replaced the screw top on the bottle (which I thought was a bit odd for red wine). Ordered dinner and that took another 20-25 mins. I received my husband 12 oz steak with my sides and he received my steak with his sides. Side of bernaise that was ordered was completely forgotten. I told the waiter about the food mix up and he just shook his head and said it was probably a kitchen screw up. Veggies were under cooked. Potatoes Au gratin were cold. He never asked us how or meal was. I felt that the waiters were understaffed and inexperienced. The cooks were clearly inexperienced. Meat was great quality. Atmosphere seemed nice. I noticed two other tables near us that also seemed unhappy. One had undercooked meat and the other was asking fora refund on something. They better get on the ball or that place is going to be a big fail. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

Decided to go there to celebrate our birthdays. Went there on a Saturday night with my sister and brother-in-law had been excited to try it (had eaten downstairs a few times and liked it very much). We order a couple of apps, salad and drinks of course. One thing i have to say is that a restuarant that charges so much can at least put down a napking under your drink esp if it is wet on the bottom. I order the ribeye with th bone it in and it was good it came with 2 sides. Everyone else ordered the RISOTTO FRUTTI DIMARE which they said was ok but I have to tell the price they charged for that dish and what was in that dish was totally disappointing One shrimp, three very small clams I mean SMALL some crabmeat, a couple of scallops and lobster that is a lobster tail CUT IN HALF ......REALLY! So if you going to treat yourself to a nice restaurant go to The Capital Grille, Cafe Escadrille, Del Friscos or even Pellana because at those places it may be ala carte but those sides are more than enough to split. Our bill ended up being $400 can not say that i will go back for an average meal. You would also think that the waitress would have asked if it was our first time here and were we celebrating something special. Not worth it read more

Went for the first time and agreed that, fresh off a dinner at L'Andana, we would be more apt to come back to Teresa's rather than return to L'Andana. The atmosphere is fun and lively, our server was attentive although we did run out of water once. If you go, get the crab cakes--I'm not sure there was a single bread crumb in it! It was pretty much all crab. We also tried the calamari which we also thoroughly enjoyed. I got the risotto frutti demare, tons of seafood but the risotto could have used more flavoring. I'm a huge fan of risotto and I wasn't wowed by this one. My husband got the Ahi Tuna--cooked perfectly but we missed the usual wasabi etc that typically comes with it-it's simply coated in toasted sesame seeds but needed some differentiation in the flavor. Our other entrees for the group were the Rib Eye and the Filet Mignon both of which were excellent according to the folks that ordered them. They have a huge wine list if you're so inclined but a pretty small beer list. For dessert we had the deep fried oreos and chocolate chip cookies, both of which were great and some others shared the cinnamon apple dessert which they enjoyed. All in all, it was a very nice experience and the food was great and we will return and just hope they turn up the seasonings just a smidge. read more

Every couple of weeks me and my wife enjoy going out for a nice dinner. Well my experience with Teresas was anything but nice. When we arrived it took a long time for us to be seated, even though there was plenty of empty tables. Finally we were seated, in a very cold section though. Anyhow while eating our semi-cold meals my wife lets out a horrific scream and then turns to me. "Did you see that?" In shock I reply "No honey whats wrong?" She says " Across from us over there.. I just seen mice run across the floor!! " Immediately I demanded to speak to a manager. The owner of the establishment finally comes to our table. I told him what my wife had seen and he gave a us a few wise remarks and then offers us a $100 gift certificate to not spread the word.. I immediately refused and left the place.. I was refered there by a friend and I would not reccomend that place to anybody period.. Seems like a well put together robbery to me.. If we seen that kinda stuff in the dining area who knows what they have going on in the kitchen.. read more

Had a wonderful dinner. The service was phenomenal. Our wait person was there when we wanted her and very helpful when we were making our selections. The food was a real treat, as it should be in a high end steak house. Starting with the bread sticks and potato bread which I couldn't resist. For appetizers we had a crab cake which was excellent with a delicious sauce and the bacon which you have to try. I had a potato crusted pork chop and my husband had the bone in ribeye cooked to perfection. We had almost as tough a time selecting the sides, there were so many special ones but tried the baby artichokes with goat cheese and fried cipollini onions, both were keepers. I was too full for dessert, but had a cappuccino which was just right, not like some that are espresso with a bit of steamed milk. Pricey but worth it and unlike most high end steak houses which charge you for sides, you get two sides with meal! read more
