Our party of 4 turned into a party of 2 due to one couple mixing up times, but our server, Nate, was gracious and made the night perfect as usual. Eddie V's is always a special occasion stop for us - you can't go wrong in service or food quality!

One of the better steakhouses in Burlington. I've also been to the Boston location, and it absolutely did not disappoint either, consistency is clearly a strong point here. The Hope Diamond cocktail is delicious and incredibly visually pleasing, easily one of the standout drinks and worth ordering on its own. Service was excellent from start to finish, attentive without being overbearing, which really elevates the experience. The bone-in ribeye is my go-to and it never misses, perfectly cooked, flavorful, buttery, and exactly what you expect from a high-end steakhouse. Finished the night with the butter cake, which is a fantastic way to end the meal and easily one of the better desserts around. Overall, a great steakhouse experience with strong food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend.

Eddie V's is our go-to anniversary spot every year without fail. This year we celebrated 22 years of marriage, and once again, they made us feel like family. Joe, who used to be our favorite server, is now in management, and it's amazing to still see him delivering meals, smiling, and supporting the team like the pro he's always been. That kind of leadership matters. Jarod was our server this year, and he was absolutely phenomenal, warm, attentive, and truly made the evening special. The food? Unmatched. We started with the Maine Lobster Tacos (buttery and flavorful) and the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake... LEGIT all crab, and no filler. For our entrées, I had the Stuffed Shrimp (packed with crab and herbs), and my husband had the salmon cooked to perfection. Sides included Brussels Sprouts, and the star of the night...the Lobster Mashed Potatoes, this was our first time trying them, and they were rich, creamy, and unforgettable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The warm bread service, chilled Acqua Panna, and elegant touches throughout made it all feel extra special.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even when the Prudential location was open (and closer to home), we made the drive to Burlington because the staff here consistently make us feel seen and valued. It's more than a dinner, it feels like visiting family for a top-tier meal. That's rare. I come from a family of baker's and chef's and I know good food is more than taste...it's the love and heart of each meal. Thank you, Eddie V's. We love you, TRULY and we'll see you next year.

From the moment arriving to leaving, our experience was nothing shy of 5 stars. Greeting from the host Service from Darrell Quality and Taste I've been in the restaurant industry for over a decade, and these people deliver the dining experience you are looking to have. ....now time to find an Eddie's on the west coast!

Service was excellent. Seafood tower (appetizer) was fabulous. Dessert was interesting. Unfortunately the roasted Brussels sprouts came in like a bowl of charcoal. Overall it was average.

Perfect date night! Awesome service. Started with the ragu dumplings and yellowtail sushimi. I got a special which was shrimp scampi with 2 4oz filets and asparagus. My husband got a rib eye and we shared the truffle mac (you can get it without). Our new fav steak house

I must really like this place as I returned a month after Easter for the Mother's Day brunch, second year in a row. The prix fixe menu was the same so I switched it up; smoked salmon appetizer and filet mignon and a frittata. Both lived up to the hype. My dining companion escheweded the brunch for ordering from the menu--salmon and a salad, which she proclaimed "delicious." The starter apple cinnamon scone was a bit of a disappointment; it was served warm but was a little dry. I started with a bellini which was perfect. That's it for brunches here for the year I suspect but I will be back -- Eddie V's is a favorite!

This was my first visit to EV's, and my standard for exceptional service and food has always been the Capital Grille. Well, I'm here to say that Eddie has edged out my usual favorite to take the top spot! The dining room is open but not terribly noisy. The white clothed tables are elegantly set and we three were seated in a roomy round booth adjacent to the kitchen. Andy was our server and he provided exemplary service throughout our entire meal. He offered his favorites across the menu and explained features/ingredients or answered our questions. I asked about mocktails and he asked my flavor profile preference--all I said was "tropical" and he returned with the perfect beverage! The bread service is delicious and my very hungry son accepted a second delivery by Andy when he noticed it was gone! We enjoyed the fried calamari and table-side steak tartare. The Asian inspired calamari was one of the most delicious preparations I've eaten. The tartare was VERY delicious (though I prefer a finer grind on the meat to avoid needing dental floss). Our mains were filets and Chilean sea bass. Steaks were cooked perfectly. My bass was prepared in an Asian style, deliciously dense and delicious. Our sides were the harissa roasted carrots (wow!), au gratin potatoes (some of the best I've had) and the crab fried rice. The rice was flavorful and generously topped with lump crab. I wouldn't call it rice, per se. It was more of a rice porridge, but super delicious nonetheless. I will say the sides were more generously sized portions than in most steak houses. Andy presented the birthday girl with a lovely plate featuring three mini desserts (one being the bananas foster) as he flambéd the fruit. We also ordered a chocolate cake and full sized bananas foster butter cake with pecan ice cream. This is where a good pair of SPANX comes in handy. Desserts were fabulous! As I've mentioned in other reviews of comparable restaurants, when you're dining at this price point, you expect service that matches. Andy (and his back waiter) were unequivocally consummate professionals who anticipated needs and missed no details. I'm Eddie V's newest, biggest fan.

Hello - this place was iconic, everyone. My group of four is still talking about this food three days later... Portions were divine; heaping. Ambiance & atmosphere felt both homey & upscale. The service was top-notch and incredibly attentive. Personally, I ordered a Special of the evening - swordfish topped with crab... (I am not doing the name nor description any justices...) The fish was amazingly cooked & seasoned. The crab meat was succulent & made me feel radiant & powerful. Also the desserts were 10 out of 10. Very fresh. Very tasty. Plus, if you are there for a celebratory occasion, waitstaff might light ur dessert aflame. Wowwee! Someone in my party ordered sum steak - they said they never tasted a filet so succulent. Dense with flavor. Pricing is high; to be expected. But the cringeworthy credit card swipe is well worth it. [Ur credit card limit must exceed $90 tho]

Incredible food and impeccable service. One of the better meals that I've had in a while. I will 100% be back. Better than a lot of the Boston steakhouses.

    Do you offer gift cards?

    Absolutely

How expensive are the apps and entrees? No prices on the menu.

Appetizers were in the teens, oysters were as you'd see at a capital grille (Eddie vs is owned by capital grille). Regular menu was not over the top expensive in the high twenties. Steaks were expensive.

I made a reservation for a Saturday night at 7:00 for two. Note: I originally went to make the reservation online from their website but the availability was not good, so I called instead. Online it pretty much looked booked between 4:30 and 8:00 - I called and was able to get 7:00 without hesitation. So, make note to call if you don't see the time or range listed online. We were greeted as we entered and checked in with the host/hostess. They were friendly and polite and told us it would just be a few minutes. They brought us back to our table and had us seated shortly there after. Our waitress was great; she told us about the specials, checked in on us, and made sure everything was as expected. We ordered some bevs that were very tasty and had great presentations. Speaking of presentation, let's get on to the food. We ordered the Tomahawk, which if you don't know, is a MASSIVE piece of meat. It's a steak meant to serve two people - in reality, it serves way more than two. The presentation of the tomahawk steak plate alone was beautiful! It had a whole bunch of stuff (see pic). They bring it out for you to see, and then they take it back to the kitchen to slice. We ordered medium rare, and probably should have gone more medium but it was not too rare so it was fine. Now, at The Bancroft, it is an à la carte style meal, meaning you order sides separately and usually a few for the table. We had the carrots (one of the specials), roasted potatoes, and creamed spinach. Forgot to say when you order meat, you also get to pick two sauces - and before anything while you wait they bring you some rolls and butter. The rolls started us off on the right foot knowing the meal was going to be phenomenal. They were warm with some sea salt on top and baked to perfection. The steak was mouth watering, juicy, and flavorful. The sauces added a great touch, and the sides were wonderful. It is safe to say, we did not leave hungry! As mentioned, while tomahawk is said to serve two, we had a lot of leftovers so of course we got those packed up to go. They were very considerate with the packaging, putting items in different boxes that made sense. We unfortunately did not have room for dessert but I'm sure it would've been awesome. The Bancroft is definitely a higher scale restaurant so it is on the pricer side, but it is justified. The food tastes great, presentation is there, and service is excellent. It's a great place for special occasions, celebrations, or just because as long as you know what to expect... but with prices today, I'd rather pay this and have it be worth it than what a crappy meal is costing today!

CLASSIC CAESAR SALAD (added shrimp) Romaine hearts, garlic croutons, shaved Romano, and creamy Caesar dressing. Then we waited. About 10-15 minutes later, our waitress stopped by to ask if we needed anything. We were fine. Another 15 minutes passed, and she checked on us again. About 10 minutes later, she stopped by once more and said she was going to check with the kitchen. The restaurant was only about half full, with plenty of open tables. We had ordered two salads--it doesn't get much simpler than that. Finally, about 45 minutes after we arrived, our lunches made their way to the table. Ironically, this was one of the few times I would have preferred eating at the Legal Sea Foods in Logan Airport, where they somehow manage to get good food to your table much more promptly. I doubt I'll return to this location. One tip: parking in the lot directly in front of Legal Sea Foods is very tight. Personally, I'd rather pay a little more and see the restaurant maintain both its outstanding service and the food quality that made us fall in love with it in the first place.

Service, staff and food are awesome Never a long wait time…read moreand great menu options Really enjoy the music as well.
