Curry Chicken ... sans curry?!?!
Elc B.

Their curry chicken was horrible. I couldn't taste curry at all...it was more like a soupy, white glaze. Absolutely horrible! Missing former owner, this place has lost its inviting atmosphere and eliminated waiters?!?! So disappointed - not going back.

Best teriyaki in town! We moved to VA for 5 years and missed it so very much! Glad to be back. Food is delicious as always. Owners are great and friendly! They know almost everyone in town! Ambience is great. My go to is either tofu teriyaki or the chicken teriyaki and tonkatsu combo Absolutely love their miso soup and crab rolls as well.

FOOD; The food is amazing, always freshly made any time I come. I've had the teriyaki, orange chicken, and California roll. Most unique sauces I have had and can't find anywhere else with immaculate flavor! Good big portions too and fairly priced for small family business and portions. SERVICE; I see the same woman each time I come, and she always has a smile and warm welcome, even over the phone. Very kind workers. AMBIANCE/ATMOSPHERE; Quiet and calm environment and lighting with very unique decor and comfortable seating. The dine in feels intimate yet small and is perfect for introverts.

They recently went under new ownership and the food quality has went down tremendously. I will not be back.

I ended…read moreup having some of the best sushi I've had in the U.S. I ordered the yellowtail lover which had spicy crabmeat, spicy yellowtail, avocado, cucumber, and jalapeño. I devoured it so quickly, it was amazing. I will 100% stop here again. The miso soup and edamame were included and were also delicious. The young girl working also gave me an orange slice which I think was just her being friendly. She and the older couple making the food were so friendly and kind. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, and ambience was very calm and clean. This is a wonderful place to stop if you're craving sushi and living in the area. I hope it was just a slow night when I was there, because they deserve a lot of customers!

Such a cute little spot! We only planned to stop in for a quick lunch and a small bite, but…read more.. yeah, that plan did not stick. The place was super welcoming, and you can tell right away the fish is fresh. They started us off with miso soup and edamame on the house, which was such a nice touch. We ordered the Super Dragon Roll and the Spider Roll--both were great. We also tried the Super Crunch, which was just okay compared to the rainbow Roll. The real surprise though? The green mussels. Absolutely divine. To top it all off, they brought us peeled orange slices at the end, and it was the perfect, refreshing finish to the meal. Came in for a quick lunch, left very full and very happy. Will definitely be back if we are ever in Seattle again.

Definitely worth a try! I ordered the karaage chicken bowl. There was a lot of chicken pieces and a heavy serving of "egg fried rice" underneath. Very filling, and very delicious. The chicken is fried, and it comes with green onion which breaks up the creamy richness from the egg and fried chicken flavors. It was so much food, I had leftovers to take home for lunch the next day. The entrees come with miso soup before the meal arrives at your table, so we were happy with the fried chicken skin appetizer and miso soup starter, then to finish it off with our entrees. Everything tasted good, hot and fresh. The staff were friendly, fast, and attentive. It's located in a shopping strip next to a gas station. It's a great spot for a hearty, quick bite to eat.

We got and appetizer, and two entrees and the total came out to about $40 so it's a very affordable option. Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.
