Nope. Instead, I got the receipt pointed back at me like it was breaking news to them -- yes, I know what I ordered...that's why I'm here. Asking for help. They might have just had a bad night but I love teriyaki, and while it's not a particularly great teriyaki place, this is one of a handful of places around here that does it. A little overpriced for what you get. I placed my order and while I know they had some to go orders to take care of, the place itself was relatively dead. I was already in a rush and it did not help that they fulfilled several orders for people who came after me. I ordered a chicken steak teriyaki bowl and someone else ordered the same and got theirs first. Turns out they forgot my order. I love that Teriyaki Grill has a lot of options and flexibility with their menu. It is quiet and has comfortable seating. Teriyaki Grill is gonna be one of my new fav lunch spots in Lehi! I was looking for a similar place that I loved in Arizona and this place is even better in my opinion. The service was SO friendly. I immediately greeted by the person taking my order and got my food super quickly. It said on my receipt the person at the Cash register was named Sandra?? She had a really warm hearted smile and you just don't see that everywhere you go. They took my order at 12:20 and I got my food promptly at 12:22! I ordered the half steak and chicken bowl and for the price (10 bucks) and you get quite a bit of food. The bowl was overall really flavorful besides the veggies. They could've used some sauce or seasoning as well. All of this being said I'll be happy to be come back here to try some of their other combos as well. I was not impressed by the food and felt like I was taken advantage of. I ordered a family platter through the heartland app. I ordered extra shrimp and chicken. When I arrived, they told me I didn't pay enough. I showed the receipt and had overpaid. I paid $5.49 for extra meet.. plus $3.98 for extra chicken and $2.99 for extra shrimp. They gave me two portions of shrimp and one of chicken. I kept explaining that I was overcharged, but the cashier did nothing for it. I thought, maybe it's because the extra meat portions are larger for the family platter. Nope! I was overcharged $5 and showed them and then nothing was done. I am so upset that today is the first time ever eating at Teriyaki Grill. I've been missing out on their chicken bowl for too long. The food was so good and so fresh. It definitely felt like a complete meal. I left feeling fully satisfied. It was so much food but surprisingly low calorie (and dare I say healthy)which is always a plus. I tried both the teriyaki chicken and the kalua pork. I preferred the chicken teriyaki but both plates were delicious. They didn't need the extra sauce they provide, they were both flavorful and tender. Pro tip: there is arroz con leche in the fridge before you order it. GET IT. This is a fairly neat little shop. The menu is relatively simple but tasty. The service was friendly and quick. Just a couple of things that brought the restaurant down. The California roll was obviously pre-made and refrigerated. I don't expect fresh tuna sushi in Utah, but a California roll is all pre-cooked stuff rolled together. Making it on order wouldn't be too hard. Issue number two is that after I was done, I went to wipe down what I thought was moisture from my cup off of the table. I got the Shrimp with Brown Rice and Veggies. First off the veggies are really really good. Idk how they cook them but there good. I told my husband I want to cook them at home the same but have no idea how. Then the rest of the dish is nothing special simple Brown Rice and shrimp. After leaving though you feel good like you ate something fresh and light. Doesn't make you feel sick. Only thing is don't get the sushi! The appearance is great. It is super nice that it is modern and sleek. The customer service was great and their service is quick. It was surprising though that at 7:30 on a Saturday night they were dead inside and we were the only ones there. The portion was somewhat small compared to other teriyaki places I have been to. All they are really rebounding for you is some rice and chicken and it looked kind of small in the bowl they give you. The food was good though, it wasn't amazing but it was definitely worth going to. The teriyaki sauce was alright also, tasted store bought instead of their own recipe or like they made it fresh there themselves. But it was pretty ok. I would go again though. I did not enjoy this place at all. I know it says their food is fresh not frozen but I just felt I was eating a teriyaki bowl from Costco. I did enjoy the grilled pineapple. I asked the employee the difference between the size of the bowls and she said "well one is this big and the other is I guess smaller" I was hoping to see both bowls for comparison. Came here to grab some lunch since I live near by. Inside is very clean and spacious. It looks pretty new and the set up is modern. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki with all rice. Customer service was really friendly and food came out quick (5-8 Minutes). It was a good portion, I got the regular plate. It came with Teriyaki sauce. But for the most part the chicken was really bland. The chicken too was overcook and chewy. Most of the cuts were burnt, which really disappointed me. Rice was normal. I didn't order the vegetables. My only feedback are two items. 1. The vegetables could be cooked a bit less to allow for their natural crispiness to come through. 2. Okay, I don't review a ton of places, but we just got done eating here and I was pretty impressed. I had the ginger salmon. I've kind of gotten used to fish around here being overcooked. This fish was perfect. considering our meals were only$10 each (I got a coke, my wife just got water and our bill was $21 on the nose) the food was a step above casual dining. I've gone to more formal places where maybe the ambiance was better, but I paid nearly twice as much for overcooked salmon.
