My family called in and picked up the order, so this review will be solely based on food quality as I have no info on service or ambiance. I ordered the vegetables with noodles and it included a side of white rice, which I thought was a bit strange, but ate it nonetheless. What I really enjoyed was that the vegetables were cooked just right and the noodles were also perfectly al dente. The way the noodles and vegetables was prepared was a hard 4.8/5 but the flavors were lacking to me. I accepted to have a flavorful noodle dish, but had to not only put on soysauce for flavor, I added more than I would have liked to give it taste. For that reason I give the flavor of the dish 2/5. Been coming here for years, and the food is very good, however, I just had a horrible experience with the rude-as-hell owner and this is not his first 1 star review regarding his lack of decorum. One was just a few days ago. I came in to order the spicy ramen SOUP (to go) with the very polite young man at the counter. I looked to the board to my right and decided to add the vegetable noodles with chicken. There must have been some miscommunication as when I got home I ended up with 3 noodle dishes and no soup. I called, and the polite young man said to come back in and they'd make it right. When I came back there was no one in the place and the owner came out from the back and started yelling at me and said, several times, "you need to say SOUP!!!". He said, "you cost me money!". I tried to explain to him that I DID order the SOUP and added the noodles and he continued to berate me. The poor young kid was obviously uncomfortable and embarrassed and knew it was a miscommunication and apologized profusely. I always leave a big tip (the owners have said several times "too much") and have recommended this place to many people. Never again. Seriously dude, you're a jerk. read more

This was a total disaster. I walked in and ordered the shrimp teriyaki with rice and steamed vegetables. Simple order for about &16.00. I left within 20 minutes with a To go container. I got home and lo and behold I have two shrimp skewers on top of some cold rice with maybe two spoonfuls of steamed cabbage slices and chipped carrots.absolutely no taste whatsoever and 2 mini containers of teriyaki sauce that was not even warm. It's been quite some time since I've been to Teriyaki House, but I have had a craving for some teriyaki beef for a while, so this last Friday, I came to get lunch take out to satisfy my craving. To me, their best deals are their Lunch Special or their All Day Special Bento Boxes for the biggest bang for your buck. The lady that took my order was very pleasant. My order was prepared fairly quickly and I was out the door in about 10 or so minutes after placing my order. There a some tables inside and a couple outside where you can dine in, but I noticed most people do takeout. Food wise, like I said above, the All Day Special Bento Boxes are the biggest bang for your buck as there is plenty of food for the price. Bento Box A ($13.99) is what I ordered which comes with Teriyaki Chicken (beef, pork, shrimp add $3; salmon add $5), Gyoza (2 pcs), Steamed Vegetables, Steamed Rice, California Roll (4 pcs) and Miso Soup. The teriyaki had good flavor and has a good soy sauce to sweetness ratio. The steamed vegetables has a salt and pepper flavor. The gyoza were decent, better when eaten hot. The miso soup had some piece of tofu, seaweed and green onions in it with decent miso flavor. The California roll was tasty and comes with sushi Ginger and a dab of wasabi on the side and a packet of soy sauce. Overall, this a nice place to get decent teriyaki for an affordable price as their portion size is fairly generous. read more

Stopped here on a roadtrip back from the Bay Area. The lady who helped us and rang us up was very pleasant and had excellent customer service. She explained the different options to us and how they marinated the meats. We got the daily bento special. It came with teriyaki chicken, California roll, gyoza, vegetables, and rice for $15.99. It was a good variety of food for the price. We also got the 2 plate combination, chicken teriyaki, and sesame chicken. The food came quickly and had big portions. Place is in the same plaza as Raleys. I ordered the combo A bento box and bbq ribs plate for take out. Bento box include gyzoa (2 pcs), California roll and teriyaki chicken, rice and miso soup. $10.99 is pretty good with that much amount of food. Bbq ribs is $13.99 which not bad and they gave lots of food. So far I enjoyed their food. Wish they gave more teriyaki sauce. Service is fast. 10 mins wait and no line. read more

One of my favorite local "fast casual" spots. The meats are made fresh on the grill and to order. Their bento boxes are a good value especially in today's economy. Got off work and had a craving for Asian food. I found this place by searching up local Asian restaurants. I never noticed this place before so I had to try it out. Its a basic hole in the wall restaurant, nothing flashy about it. Its COVID times at the time of this writing so I did appreciate the large hanging plastic cover dividing the kitchen area from the rest of the restaurant. Also, it was takeout only. The staff were nice and took my orders quickly. I was also very happy to see them cooking my meal upon ordering so I knew it would be hot and fresh. I ordered fried gyoza and shrimp tempura as appetizers and a deluxe combination plate with teriyaki beef, shrimp, and spicy chicken. A buddy of mine also ordered a plate of pork teriyaki. The gyoza and shrimp tempura were both very crispy. The tempura was good but I felt that the gyoza had much better flavor, especially when dipped in the accompanying sauce. It was sticky and sweet and just a hint of spice. My combo plate was good for the most part. The shrimp were on the smaller side and depended on the sweet and sticky teriyaki sauce for most of its flavor. The teriyaki beef tasted good but was a bit dry. The spicy chicken was really good. The crispy breading locked in the juiciness of the meat and the spicy sauce was savory and flavorful, not too spicy. My buddy really enjoyed the pork teriyaki and after tasting it, I felt it was the most flavorful of all the dishes. I had a craving for Asian food and I feel like this restaurant really satisfied that craving. It wasn't the most amazing Asian food I've ever had but its filling and delicious. They cook the food upon ordering so its going to be fresh and their teriyaki sauce is really flavorful. I would come back again to satisfy cravings. read more
