My favorite dishes are-- TK special fries with kimchi!! - ahh, you do not have to wait for Oh My Gogi to open at 9pm anymore!! Actually, it is less greasy and more enjoyable. The fries come nice and warm, never soggy. Don't be afraid by the kimchi option; it is not spicy! Udon - my dad's and my favorite. It comes with nice warm soy-based broth, but does not taste cheap/instantly made. The dish is packed with noodles along with other decorative fish cakes, etc. We always finish the whole dish squeaky clean. Katsu plate - I love anything fried. It is delicious but a hassle to make at home. Whenever I crave something fried that is perfectly crisp but juicy meat inside, I get this plate. It comes with lots of rice, nice-sized pork cutlet, small cup of sauce, and along with one choice of sides from the menu. This place has some really good chicken for a really good price! The chicken is so juicy and very flavorful. The fried rice was okay but if it was up to me I would just get the chicken itself. I am a person that always gets fried dumplings if available and this place has some great dumplings as well. As soon as we walked in we were greeted cheerfully by a lady behind the counter. We looked up at the menu screen above the counter undecided and let her know it's our first time there. Right away she said she would bring out some something for us to taste. She walked into the kitchen and came out with a plate of teriyaki chicken. My daughter ordered dumplings and they come out beautifully golden and crispy. I can quickly tell if a kitchen is using old oil because fried foods come out dark but this wasn't the case here. We ordered the seafood pancake. It was my first time trying it and it did not disappoint in the least bit. This pancake had enough seafood meat in it. It was not greasy. And had a nice soft crunch to it. They weren't very busy. It was a Saturday early afternoon. Customers were steadily coming in but it never got packed as most of them took their food to go. We dined in. The prices are very cheap when compared to other Korean restaurants. The serving sizes are good too. The music is trendy and not too loud. I didn't know what to expect when I walked in but to my surprise it was quite cozy and very clean! When I walked in I was greeted right away, I asked for a menu and the lady at the counter asked if it was my 1st time there and offered me a sample. The sample was very good so I decided to order. I ordered the 2 meat combo which included Teriyaki chicken and beef with mixed vegetables and fried rice. The portion was a good size because I had it for lunch and dinner. I was craving teriyaki chicken and found this place on yelp. It's literally a hole I. The wall and the area looks pretty sketchy BUT the food is amazing! And on top of that, the portions are huge. Prices are reasonable as well also. I came during lunch time and the place was packed! I put my order in for to-go and it didn't even take that long for them to make it. I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to get the first time I tried this restaurant. The windows are so dark it doesn't look open but once you go inside you'll be pleasantly surprised. The seating is nice and everything is clean and fresh. The first time everyone in my family ordered teriyaki chicken plates. We did not like the vegetable side as it had a lot of cabbage and so now we only get Rice as our side dish. I love their sticky white rice and my husband prefers The brown rice. We have also tried the breaded chicken but we did not like the sauce that comes with it as much as we like the teriyaki sauce. The teriyaki beef is still very good and tender but I think overall we prefer the chicken. If you aren't sure, ask the owner at the front and she will give you sample. The fried dumplings are good but a little on the cabbage heavy side for me. I do love that they are fried crispy.
