Big fan of Asian places just like this one, and I was looking forward to trying them out. I got some items most such shops have...and the comparison was on! The Tuna Roll and Philly Roll? Seemed a little smaller, and a little less flavorful than my other go to places. My impression is that the rice in these rolls is supposed to be seasoned in some way. Maybe they forgot? The spring rolls? A little heavy on the wrapping, which was more chewy than crispy, and light on the filling. And once again, kinda' flavorless. I know these things aren't usually made from scratch in house, but these could have come frozen in a box. Shrimp Tempura? This IS typically scratch made, but the shrimp had an unusually soft, texture, the tempura coating was more foamy than crispy, and each one was very rectangular and squared off at the end...again like some kind of mass produced product. In summary, the food wasn't bad, but was unexciting and unchef-like. I like that they freely give out coupons...but I'd rather spend a few more bucks, and get fresher, tastier Asian items.

    Thank you bag!

Perfect spot for quick delicious hibachi to go. This place will certainly stay as a regular spot for me. Servers were so nice and attentive.

If you're looking for really good sushi and Japanese food, I recommend this place. I saw Japanese…read morecustomers dining there. It's a good sign that that they serve legit food. Enoki and egg soup is my favorite appetizer. Light broth with umami and perfect saltiness. My second favorite appetizer is agedashi tofu. So silky like pudding with light teriyaki broth. Beef roll up with scallions: beef is tender with some kind of sweet teriyaki sauce. It's pretty good. Eggplant filled with ground chicken. It looks appealing but unfortunately a bit too greasy. The sushi here is very special. The sushi rice is silky and moist. The fish piece is bigger than the rice. The eel is a must try here. It's very big compared to the rice underneath it. It very flavorful too. Mt entree is steamed salmon with seafood broth. I recommend squirting the lemon to the broth to make it taste like yuzu sauce as it lightens the whole dish and makes it less fishy.

PRO: I will say, if you want a place where you can sit and have a conversation, dark mood lighting (especially forgiving if the last time you saw each other alot was 20 years ago! - LOL), Sagami is an excellent choice. PRO: They don't rush you out - take your time. It was a Thursday night, so not especially busy when we came at 6:30 PM. CON: I could not find an updated menu online - I'm one of those people who like to peruse a menu in advance. I started with a vegetable tempura appetizer ($10) - excellent, light, airy, tasty. My main was the dragon roll - very tasty. Service was quite nice. Appetizers came out almost immediately, the rolls took a lot longer to get to our table. This is the kind of place where you're not paying to fill up your belly - but if you do, expect to shell out some bucks.

Came across this spots by chance. Glad we tried it…read more It's a cute small shop with some seating. You can also order ahead. The sandos are made to order. The bread is soft as expected. The egg salad was creamy and flavorful. The chicken katsu had a nice crunch and paired well with the katsu sauce. Tip: get both the chicken katsu and egg sando. Split them in half, you'll get to enjoy the egg and chicken katsu in one bite. You'll won't regret it. Will come back again and try other items

There are tables inside if you want to eat in, and the space is pleasantly quiet, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the food. The portions on the sandwiches are very filling, with large strips of juicy, great‑flavored chicken. The teriyaki sauce works perfectly with the slaw, and it has me excited to come back and try the other flavors. The spring rolls were crispy, packed with tasty vegetables, and came with a dipping sauce that tied everything together really well. The real reason to come, though, is for their dessert sandwiches. The bread is so fluffy and soft, and every bite feels like a little treat that guarantees a smile. I can't say enough good things about Mikan Sando, this is definitely a place I'll be back to again.

Welp... second time here in the last 2 months and its time for a review. This is the best quality…read moresushi and sashimi I have had in YEARS! The service was super friendly and courteous... I am not sure if they have Japanese roots but everyone took the time to make our experience and food phenominal, which is a part of the Japanese culture. The actual fish quality and care in preparation with the little additions of yuzu and other spices on the individual pieces were amazing! It was like every piece was served as omakaze. Also, the chef served the highest quality and cuts of fish. This was a second visit for us. I usually do a review after two visits to judge a location and this place exceeded our first visit... I thought the first visit was a fluke because of how good it was. Now I believe they are actually this good.. The locals that live around here have a plethora of places to go to for sushi (we know because we have been to em all), but this place is the Gold Standard in our opinion. We live about 40 minutes away and made the trip here because of what I remember from our last visit. The ambience is cool with tons of pictures of private parties and fun times people have here. I deff want to have them cater a sushi party for us soon! We went here the first to try some place new by searching Yelp.... However, I saw them pop up on either my Instagram or Youtube feed a couple weeks ago. I know sometimes InstaTube places are a disappointment, but do not be affraid to try here and form your own opinion.
