Asian Chef has become my Sunday 'go-to' for Asian food. They do it all Thai, Sushi, etc. I ordered Thai online for my honey and myself and put a note on their online platform 'no meat or fish' in food please and got in the car to go pick up. I received a call from Asian Chef telling me that one of my choices had fish stock in it. The gentleman that called offered alternative options which were vegan and let me say...it was the best Thai food I've had in the area. I really appreciate the call I got from them letting me know my selection wasn't vegan, my honey and I are strictly meat free and I appreciate the suggestions offered. Food is awesome but take out only still. Please be patient when calling in your order. Young woman works really hard to juggle all the front desk duties, as she does it all by herself, and she still stays pleasant and friendly. We often do special orders, such as sushi rolls minus the cucumber and rice, or a Spa Cuisine (steamed without oils) with no scallops or just broccoli instead of mixed veggies, and food is always plentiful and delicious. I must update my review based on the fact I came back after a few years and the food was phenomenal. It doesn't seem like the same restaurant as before. They've made tremendous positive changes to their food. The sushi is now high quality w thick pieces of fish and minimal filler. The beef & broccoli and wonton soup has improved as well. The honey walnut shrimp is to die for and might be the best I've had. This place has become a weekly request in our house lately. COVID update: They are still takeout only but are very quick turning around call-in orders and there's no added fee if you give them your card number upfront or pay cash. They will call you when the order's ready and bring it out to you. If you're picking up dinner, it's best to park your car while waiting because the entire fire-lane is packed with vehicles due to the two restaurants. The great news is that the food is as excellent as usual; we've actually been ordering twice a week from them. My favorite is the Sashimi Bento Box but my wife likes the vegetable tempura. read more

I ordered the Thai Spicy Fried Rice with Chicken on two occasions. First time I must have been hungry because the second time I ordered it. It was very bland, no taste at all. It wasn't even spicy. I got the pad thai and absolutely love it. I have had good pad thai a few times and have to say this is up there with the top experiences. I got the Singapore mei fun for my father and he said it was good. The boneless spare ribs were tasty but a bit over cooked and was a bit too burnt. Which is a shame because it had a good flavor. The drunken noodles had a good flavor as well, but the noodles had a strange texture. They were not the chewy noodles we were used to. If it just had the noodles we were expecting it would have been perfect. I'm going to try them again soon and hope it was an off day. The flavor was on point and was worth it. read more

Trish found a Groupon for this place so we decided to give it a try. Located in a small strip mall, the interior was average and clean with about 15 or so tables. Fusion restaurants are kind of a gamble, with trying to cook several types of cuisine, inevitably some come out better than others. This was in fact our experience here as well. Our specialty roll( can't recall name) was very good, it was a pimped out shrimp tempura but with avo and spicy tuna added to the top. In hindsight we should have just stuck with sushi. But Trish craved Udon, and I some Mu Shu. We both selected chicken as the protein and both regretted it. While the rest of our dishes were average, the meat was below that. Funky texture and taste and detracted from the overall taste. I like my Mu Shu with pepper oil, and this one was excellent, pancakes however were a bit stale and did not roll very well. Our servers were friendly and funny, and for the savings( $15 for $30 worth of food) we might return for an all sushi feast. read more

This is a great little neighborhood gem. Located in a small strip mall, Asian Chef Fusion Cuisine is authentic and tries very hard to provide great service and food. There were 4 of us in our party and we arrived a bit late. They take Open Table reservations, but also offer a 10% Yelp check-in discount. I ordered the seafood combination which was supposed to include shrimp, crab, scallops, fish and lobster. Very tasty and included quite a few shrimp and scallops. The lobster was small and crab was actually surimi (imitation crab legs). Fresh vegetables used which includes water chestnut and broccoli. The pork fried rice was very good. My daughter ordered the Dinner Bento box which included sushi as well as grilled salmon. My wife had the Vegetable Pineapple Rice. Lots of tomatoes, broccoli and mushrooms mixed with the rice. My wife felt the rice had too much egg which made it taste closer to an omelette. The food came out fast, but 2 came out about 5 minutes before the other 2. You won't leave hungry. read more

While I hate to write bad reviews for local businesses, I have now had one too many bad experiences here and feel like I need to speak out truthfully. I discovered this restaurant at the beginning of the pandemic. Although my first impression of this place was that it was dirty, I looked past that and was quickly impressed by the food options and portions. However, as of recently, this place has gone downhill. A few months ago, I ordered a $15 fancy sushi roll and when I got home, I noticed it was missing the crab completely. It was literally filled with crunch and that's it. I called and I was told they would give me a free one next time. Twice in the last few months I ordered a wonton soup and was given the wrong soup. While I tried to check my order for accuracy when I picked them up, it's not always possible with the way they are packaged and stapled. Anyway, when I called them, they wouldn't give me my money back however they told me they would give you the correct soup next time I came in. I live 15 minutes away, so coming back for a soup didn't make sense. Last month I placed an order for pickup, and was told it would be 35 minutes. It actually ended up taking an hour and a half for my food to be ready. I just stood there waiting all that time. Finally I received my food, left, and when I was almost home I received a call saying they gave me the wrong soup (again!). To say I was frustrated at this point is an understatement. I think the only thing that made me give this place another chance was the woman who works at the front, she is always nice and apologetic. So I decided to order again last night. The woman who took my order was aware of the previous issues I had, so I thought there would be no issues. I ordered another wonton soup, but decided to save it for dinner tonight. When I opened the soup container tonight, there was a small plastic lid INSIDE the soup, all warped and partially melted. How does that even happen? I couldn't even believe that this was happening after the other issues I had. I called the restaurant and the same woman picked up. While she was apologetic, she kept cutting me off while I was trying to explain what happened. Of course her answer was "I'll give you a new soup next time you come in." There will not be another time I come in. Next time I come in, I will bring the soup in and tell her I want my money back this time. And that will be the last time I set foot in that place. If you're looking for good local Chinese food, I recommend Shanghai Express and King's Palace. read more

Love this place! It's a BYOB and has something for everyone. Their menu features several different types of Asian cuisines and everything I've had here has been really good. The service is usually very good and the servers are very nice. The Tom Kha Soup is awesome for a starter. Special sushi rolls are creative, regular rolls are fresh and delicious. Well, that was surprising, in a very good way. I don't put much faith into restaurants that are one-stop shopping. I feel like if you serve Chinese, focus on just Chinese. So often, places that do everything, don't do anything particularly well. My meal this evening may have changed my mind. We got wonton soup, scallion pancakes (don't miss these), chicken chow mein, moo goo gai pen, egg roll, veggie fried rice. Almost everything was very tasty. The only negatives were that the noodles they give with the meal were quite stale, packets of duck/mustard sauce rather than fresh and slightly gummy taste for the chow mein. My favorite place to get Japanese, Chinese, Thai and soup. They are always quick, I go at least once a month for years and have only ever had one problem. I am a vegetarian so a new worker didn't understand my tofu order so I ended up getting a bigger tofu dish than I wanted. They have vegetarian options in each cuisine they offer which is fantastic. It's very clean and the staff is helpful. If you call for your takeout or delivery order, it's cheaper and faster than when using an app. read more

The first time I ate here I wasn't thrilled. I decided to try it again tonight. I ordered the Tom yum soup and chicken pad Thai (I asked for this to be spicy). Everyone who I encountered while picking up my food was friendly and helpful. The soup was delicious. I got a small but it was plenty for 2 people. There were 3 big shrimp in it, and the broth was super flavorful. The pad Thai was wonderful. It was a large portion size and it had a great flavor. The chicken was all white meat and very tender. Just came back from here and we had a horrible experience. The miserable waitress just about ignored us when there were only two other parties seated. The manager turned on the charm for regulars but not for us. I stopped eating my inedible (ridiculously salty) entree after one bite. By the time the waitress came back my husband was finished eating. She said she'd have the kitchen remake it but I didn't want to eat alone, much less eat something that had already turned my stomach. She brought the check with the entree reduced by half price. I pointed out I'd only eaten one bite. The manager came over and started yelling that he couldn't remove the entree for everyone who came in and sent food back. Whenever we go in, everybody working there are always friendly and happy to serve you. The best thing is that you can choose what type of food you want. Chinese, got it, Japanese, no problem, Thai, sure, Vietnamese, of course. Whatever you are in the mood for, they will make it. Whenever we are feeling lazy, we order delivery. They are always there in the time they say or earlier and the order is never messed up. They even are smart enough to not put the sushi with the hot food.
