Not my favorite experience. Won't be back. Chicken teriyaki bowl: The brown rice is kind of creamy? Maybe it was over cooked. I don't order brown rice much. But it was thick and did not have a desirable texture. Bowl definitely needs more sauce. It does not have any teriyaki sauce over it, and it doesn't come on the side, so I highly suggest buying a side of sauce if you don't want the bowl to be dry. Only the chicken has a little bit of sauce on it. Overall the bowl is quite bland. The chicken is a chicken thigh, which it does not say that on the menu. Lots of fat, gristle, and less desirable parts of the chicken. I'm glad I only got a junior, because I threw it away. I ordered online for carryout. The pick up was easy and the people were friendly. They use dark meat, which was cooked perfectly. Veggies were not overcooked and they had extra teriyaki on the tables. Crab rangoons were fine. Not terribly flavorful. Service was good. I attended a women's conference that was catered by this restaurant and the food was delicious! They set up a buffet where we had choices of rice, stir fried vegetables, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and steak. I tried a little of each and enjoyed them all but the orange chicken was my absolute favorite! I will definitely stop by for a meal. read more

Food - I ordered the chicken teriyaki with fried rice. I also took the recommendation of one of cashiers and ordered an egg roll and crab rangoon. I had a takeout order and Wow. I had the orange chicken bowl and an egg roll. Egg roll was very well fried and tasted delicious. The orange chicken wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything to write home about. The teriyaki is definitely much better. They have a couple of small tables outside for dining, and maybe about 6 tables inside for dining, but overall it is a smaller space. Wait isn't too bad either, and the staff are very polite. Even bringing the food to the table! I ordered two days in a row! I had seen this location on DoorDash and passed it by several times but i decided to try it out anyway. My first order was orange chicken and fried rice. Shame to say I ate what was a HUGE portion in one round. So good fresh and delicious. I ordered crab Rangoon and it was great as well. She made me feel very welcomed and walked me through my order giving me tips and suggestions as I've never eaten there before. I am going to give this a 5 star for five reasons. Affordable Portion size Freshness Customer service Flavor This is beating 9/10 Chinese take out spots but it does have a simple small menu. It reminded me of a chipotle inside just in a Chinese fast food sort of way. If you don't try it you are missing out. Food was delicious I've been multiple times between 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Food comes out quickly and the flavor is amazing. It's the Only teriyaki bowl style place in Dayton. Customer service was unsatisfactory this visit unfortunately. Cashier kind of gave me attitude after I made a light joke about inflation and the prices of the bowls. I sat down for my food and it wasn't particularly busy at the time. There was a few workers in the front being loud and dropped a few "F " words which was off putting. The food was good, but expensive for the amount, in my opinion. Also, I was picking up, no table service, yet they ask for tips when you order, before you ever get your food. I can't stand places that ask you tips when you aren't getting wait service. There are articles about some workers at different restaurants who do things to your food, if you don't tip the way they think you should. Not saying that happened here, or ever would, but why even make that a consideration? Teriyaki is delicious. I like the chicken breast meal the best over the chicken thigh meal. Their egg rolls were disappointing- the egg roll wasn't very crispy and it was too mushy inside with no real texture difference between the ingredients inside. I also wasn't that crazy over the sauce for the egg rolls. I'd rather have something like duck sauce as opposed to what that was. The staff was great though, so I'll definitely go back! I thought the food was good for what you're paying for & you got a lot more than needed so I had some for lunch the day after. The service was fine but nothing memorable or great. They had a ton of staff but my food took a while to be ready. Probably the only teriyaki place around here however it was still an enjoyable place to eat at. Cool interior but the tvs I couldn't help but notice were just like a TikTok version of tv with the way they played short clips of animals or funny or interesting things. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with brown rice and veggies and a chicken egg roll. I guess the chicken is chicken thigh meat if you don't get the chicken breast. I made a mistake by not getting the white chicken breast meat cuz my meat was all fatty every piece to the point I couldn't finish it and just ate pieces off of the chicken.
