    Chicken Teriyaki

I was craving chicken teriyaki and ordered from this restaurant. I thought it tasted pretty good! And it was delivered quickly. I'm curious to visit the place and dine there, since I ordered through Uber eats there's a fee for everything. But I like Japanese food and see they have a variety of other dishes. The amount of food was great for the price even with the uber fees!

I'm going to give an honest review I'm kind of disappointed on the sushi rolls because I had ordered the avocado and cucumber sushi rolls, and once they had gave it to me my impression was 'what the hell is that' ....the rolls are literally so small I could literally get a seven dollar sushi box that bring six at queens center mall. I haven't tried any other dishes but to be honest I don't even want to go back. Overall customer service was nice. I'll be showing pictures of the sushi rolls and comparison between the sushi and a quarter..... I'm literally not lying, I was shook, or am I dramatic idkkk you guys be the judge.

This is a newly opened restaurant that replaced what used to be a Starbucks. I was excited to see more Asian-like options on the Ave since I have lunch in the area every now and then. I typically would get Caribbean/West Indian food or fast food so it's nice to have some diversification. The items on the menu are synonymous with the only other teriyaki place located just a couple blocks away. I avoided the sushi rolls for safety reasons (trust an Asian on this) and the milk teas because I only buy from places that use actual tea leaves and not the powdered products. I got the beef and shrimp teriyaki and my total was around $17. It seems like a lot of food at first glance but it's really mainly filled to the brim with rice and cabbage. I wanted to like it considering how much I paid for it but the shrimp was slightly over done and the beef was too starchy. The flavor was decent - the sauce was definitely more on the sweeter side. It did provide an aesthetic glaze to the food but other than that, it serves no other purpose. I prefer my usual food court teriyaki where the same thing goes for $12.

Cap't Loui - Seafood boil with shrimp, crawfish, snow grand and sausage. So so good.

It comes in a cute drink pouch, has a generous pour, and definitely doesn't skimp on the alcohol. Even with the rum, dark rum, orange juice, and grenadine, it still tastes amazing and strikes a really nice balance. For my appetizer, I ordered a cup of the New England clam chowder. It was fresh, creamy, and packed with plenty of clam pieces in every bite. Unless you're a huge clam chowder fan or planning to make it your meal, I think the cup is the perfect size to enjoy before digging into a seafood boil. For my boil, I ordered half a pound of mussels and half a pound of head off shrimp with Cap't Loui sauce at the hot spice level. It also came with corn and potato, and I added boiled egg. If you're someone who loves a Cajun style seafood boil with a noticeable kick, the hot Cap't Loui sauce absolutely delivers without sacrificing flavor. Another thing I appreciate is that they provide branded plastic bibs and gloves, which makes the whole experience much less messy and lets you fully enjoy the meal. The restaurant tables were also decorated with cute seafood-themed paper tablecloth to keep everything clean as well. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was attentive, and everything, from the drinks to the chowder to the boil, came out surprisingly fast. This is easily one of my favorite places when I'm craving a seafood boil, and I'll definitely be back again.

The staff was super friendly, accommodating and polite overall. Food: Shrimp basket was delicious the fries were a little salty on my end. Picked 3 seafood (Shrimp head off, Snow crab legs, crawfish. The crawfish was a little sus, so the waitress Sue was able to take it off bill. Everything was really good and fresh!! Get the garlic noodles, pretty damn good!! Overall, I'm definitely coming back here!! I had a great experience from the food to the staff!! There is shared parking with Dollar tree which is next Door.

I went on a quiet Tuesday and basically had the place to myself. They even showed me around the back, which was pretty cool and made me appreciate the operation even more. Came with some friends for lunch. We all got various combinations of the mixed plate and an order of fried calamari. The calamari was lightly breaded in a flaky batter that brought out the flavors of the squid. Cooked to perfection it was tender, not chewy. As for the mixed platters, we had lamb gyro and the souvlakis as well as the lemon potatoes and fries. The lemon potatoes were perfectly seasoned and had a nice tartness to each bite. The lamb gyro was tender. The chicken souvlaki being moist and flavorful is the barometer for the level of detail that goes into every plate served.
