We had a pretty solid experience at Teriyaki Special. We went during lunch time and everything is made to order. We went through the drive through. They also had hard copies of the menus if you drive up. We got take out. The dude at the window was super cool and helped us out with some menu choices. They have a lots of drinks and prices are pretty affordable. We ordered through the drive through. After we ordered, we pulled up to a parking spot while we patiently waited for our food. We got the food delivered to our car. I got the two items with chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken, stir fried noodles, and mixed vegetables. My woman got the one item with Teriyaki pork and fried rice. The food came out piping hot and delicious. We got three different sauces with our orders. All super tasty. I would definitely recommend coming to teriyaki special for some good eats! read more

I called the restaurant after DoorDash dropped it off because it looked and tasted completely different. They told me no it wasn't. I've been getting my car washed next door for awhile now and when this place opened I had to come try it. Really great flavor, actual thick cuts of chicken, veggies aren't over cooked. Doesn't come with rice, you order it as one of your sides.

My go to lunch! Love the teriyaki shrimp here! They give very generous portions and I love the sauces they give you with your meal.

Popped in after work, food was great. The only issue I had was the crab Rangoon had a funny taste. It might be cause I am used to having cream cheese with little crab, but the ones here use real crab meat. The guy did warn me about it, so it's not their fault. The gentleman that took my order was super nice and since I was a new customer, he gave me 10% off my entire order. Great customer service right there. The teriyaki sauce we received on the side was very light but good, and the... sweet and spicy (?) sauce was also light, not too sweet but not spicy at all. The veggies are better than most places (e.g. Hawaiian Bros) but are not up to my gold standard for a veggie side, which is Panda Express. This is a hidden gem (literally)! The food is flavorful and doesn't feel like fast food. It's not greasy and doesn't make you feel like crap after eating it. Got the two item plate with teriyaki chicken and beef with two sides of fried rice and lo mein. The fried rice and noodles actually had flavor. Not at all like the mediocre stuff you get at Panda Express. They don't make the food until you order it so you know it's fresh. I hope more people find out about this place! read more
