    Soggy orange chicken

Must be new owners. Food is completely different and not great to what it use to be. I've posted great reviews on this place before but today it was unacceptable. I called the restaurant after DoorDash dropped it off because it looked and tasted completely different. They told me no it wasn't. I brought up my concern of sogginess and how it's not fresh and crunchy like it used to be. The ladies' response was "it's just the way it is. Maybe next time I order it'll be better." I told her that I was disappointed. Highly DO NOT recommend - try at your own risk

Food not really good , way oily if u wanna know. Only the tereyaki chicken tasted in a normal way, not so sweet or saulty.

Very clean and wonderful restaurant that I stop by every other week to get their tofu entrees. Food is freshly made with quick service. They have a TV that I watch when eating. This is the only asian restaurant I know of in the Wylie and Murphy area with a drive thru. If you enjoy fast asian food, this place is for you.

Visited here on a Wednesday night. Ordered our entrees, an egg roll (not pictured), and two waters. Spent around $30. Food was fresh and flavorful. Portion sizes were OK. Will come back - considering there's not a Panda Express closer.

Tried the new restaurant in Wylie Teriyaki Special, have to admit it was pretty dang delicious. Great customer service, flavorful, large quality, food came out under ten minutes, and the milk tea classic was quite refreshing on a hot summer day! Highly recommended and happy to support local.

Oh my word, this is our new place! It is DELICIOUS! Everything was made fresh to order, hot and delicious! We got the teriyaki chicken, katsu, and sweet chili tofu, along with the rice, string beans and noodles. We loved it ALL! The tofu, even if you aren't vegetarian- dude, try it! It's so crispy, fresh, and amazing sauce! They even have boba drinks that we'll be coming back for! Lastly, veteran owned, with the owner being who served us, and was so very kind and helpful. Go!!

    Crispy chicken!

Really great flavor, actual thick cuts of chicken, veggies aren't over cooked. Doesn't come with rice, you order it as one of your sides.

Place was barely mediocre at best. The food was too salty and cold. The place has been open long enough to not have these problems.

I'm glad the staff are knowledgeable about the place they work, and the energy surrounding the place is nice too. Peaceful and quiet chatter amongst others and no unpleasant noises or disturbances. The food is definitely something to praise too. I always end up eating nearly 2-3 all you can eat plates of bulgogi myself, their shrimp, and la galbi (beef short rib) are quite nice too. But the side dishes are my absolute favorite! Although the chicken and dipping sauces aren't something to fuss over, they're not horrible. Top recommendation: Bulgogi, la galbi & side dishes I'm looking forward to coming back again, and hopefully (unlike the many times before) I leave room for dessert! The yakgwa sundae looks promising.

As regular patrons of hot pot for date night, bf and I decided to try this place…read more I'll sort by pros and cons as I see it related to other hot pot places we've had: PROS: - Hot pot and BBQ grill at the same time for the same price! Great value there - Fairly large vegetable/noodle/etc bar - Waiters were incredibly attentive - All meats tasted high quality CONS: - No true "sauce bar"--I kind of tried to replicate my usual combo using the salad supplies and sauces - The meats are clearly made for either the grill or the pot 80% of the time with very few that can do both. For example, pork belly (grill) is different from THIN pork belly (pot). Beef belly worked best in the pot. Chicken worked best on the grill. Etc - Beef broth I got for my hotpot was decent but worse than most pork bone broths I default to For the same price as Seapot, I'd still personally prefer Seapot. But I think this place does best a lot of competition like Nan and Hai Di Lao. Give it a try for sure.

We had been wanting to try Rumdoul for a while, so it felt like a double treat! Before we even walked through the doors, we were hit with the most incredible aromas coming from the restaurant. It immediately made us excited to eat. Once inside, we were greeted with warm smiles by Leona, who was absolutely adorable and incredibly attentive to everyone dining there. We also had the pleasure of talking with Mr. B, who shared his vision for the restaurant and how he wants it to be different. You can genuinely feel the love, pride, and passion he has poured into this place--not only in the atmosphere but in every bite of food. Following some of his recommendations, we started with the chicken gyoza. They were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the tofu yellow curry at spice level 4. Let me tell you--it was SPICY! But it was also absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again, although there are so many other menu items I want to try too. Jason ordered the chicken Pad Thai. He's extremely picky about noodle texture and thickness, and he devoured every single bite. He ordered spice level 3, which was almost too much for him, but that didn't stop him from cleaning his plate! Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was my favorite part of the meal. I poured every drop of that sweet coconut sauce over the rice and mango, and there wasn't a trace left on the plate. We even used the extra sauce from the gyoza in our dishes because everything was just that good. There's a reason Rumdoul is sitting close to a 5-star rating. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, and the passion behind the restaurant shines through in every detail. We will absolutely be back--and as soon as our little man arrives, we'll be adding sushi to our order too! Giving Rumdoul 5's with zero hesitation.

Overall, the food was solid with a few standout items. The spicy tuna roll was excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The ramen was also quite good and comforting. The hibachi steak, however, was a bit of a surprise. The steak was cooked exactly to the temperature I requested, but it (along with the vegetables) arrived slightly cold, which took away from the experience. The fried rice also lacked a bit of seasoning and could have used a little more flavor. While this wasn't a bad dining experience by any means, I'm still on the search for that standout spot in the area that truly checks all the boxes. That said, there are definitely some dishes here worth coming back for.
