We sprayed on a day when pets could be out of house and safe for 20 mins, even though it was a pet friendly spray we still take precautions. After they sprayed the next day we saw the aftermath. The first agent dispatched to treat my home for insects cancelled my appointment on a Friday and said he would be in touch with me first thing on Monday. By Monday afternoon, I reached out to him but he never responded. On Wed afternoon, I called the office and they scheduled a different agent for Thursday. That agent was a no-show. I had an agent cold calling at my house yesterday -- a young man on a scooter. He didn't introduce himself -- I knew he was Terminix because of his shirt -- just started into a sales pitch. I told him we didn't own the house and didn't make decisions regarding your service. That didn't stop him. I clearly told him I was not interested. He continued trying to sell. After the third time saying I wasn't interested, I asked him what part of I'm not interested he didn't understand. He kept talking and I had to slam the storm door and walk away to get him to leave. This is completely unprofessional and rude behavior. But he wasn't finished. The same guy knocked on the door today when I was in the garage. I wish I had been in the house to answer the door because he would have regretted his arrogant decision to be unprofessional and rude a second time after being told I wasn't interested. Absolutely lowest business I've ever been affiliated with. Had a contract with Terminex for my home in Southern Indiana. Noticed a bat. Team came out and told us we had bats in our attic. $4,000 charge. We got a second opinion from Orkin and a local group. Both independently confirmed no bats, and only only squirrel droppings. Zero bat droppings in the attic. No fix needed. Jim Raymer is the liar who told us we had bats when we didn't. A tech name Shane was also involved as he said this person was a "manager" and they were only an inspector. Jim Raymer lied to our face, and then warned us about 'Bat Bugs' to scare us into signing. Almost worked. He played on our children's health to get his lie through and get the deal! This is a total outrage. Run away! Total cheats to the max! I've tried to call the manager through Terminix and they still have not called me back. read more

The window of time that a manager was going to call me, as a supposedly " escalated call", within 24 - 48 hours, has now expired, for the second waiting time frame. I was provided with an email address by Terminix, via Yelp, to contact a Terminix rep., but the email won't go through. I contacted, Terminix, again through Yelp to let them know that there is a problem with the email they've provided, also giving them me contact phone number, and have not received one word from them My house repair/property damage to my outside electric box, no explanation as to why the "repairs" were worked on, in the areas of the house, that don't make sense, and why they were not completed, why no inspection was done, last week, as was specifically mentioned in the Terminix text, and lastly, why Terminix is just not contacting me! Tried to give ZERO STARS!!!! We waited for the inspector and technician for 2 days. They charged our card and gave us the run around on the phone about someone coming out. The inspector that "convinced us" we were getting a nice deal by signing up for the monthly treatments didn't even have the authorization to offer deals. He texted us multiple times during the ordeal which was also very unprofessional! We will not be acquiring services from them and will not recommend this branch of this company! read more

I tried to call and cancel twice. You don't even have the right address for me which I called and thought I changed, twice. I don't even know how to log into the right account. I called again but there are apparently too many people already on hold so I have to wait for someone to call me back. What a terrible company that won't even allow me to cancel and has the wrong address for two years. Now my card on file is expired so you can't process my payment, so my credit is going to take a hit and there's nothing I can do about it. Zero stars. My husband and I have had a terrible experience with Terminix in Louisville. They talked us into signing on for an expensive project, but never completed the work--and never answered or returned our calls. We had initially contacted Terminix about a mouse problem. When the salesperson, Mr McCraney, came to our house, he convinced us to sign a two-year contract for encapsulation and exclusion services, which included the installation of a dehumidifier in our cellar. Mr Cagle's team came out on 12/27/21 and installed three hooks of four hooks for securing the dehumidifier, then said that they had run out of hooks and would return the next day with another hook to complete the installation. They never returned. The dehumidifier has not been secured and it is also missing a filter cover. During the past six weeks, we've tried calling our technician, who ignored our calls. Our service manager, Mr Rison, also ignored our calls. We've also called customer service at least three times, and the phone representatives have been courteous and professional--but still the work has never been completed, nor do we even have a scheduled date for its completion. The technician returned to our house after our first customer service complaint, but he refused to enter the cellar to inspect the work and said he would just speak with his team about it. Now it is almost March, and Terminix has not followed up or completed the work that was scheduled for December 27. The people that we have been dealing with simply do not care about the quality of their work or about doing what they say they will do. read more

Use anyone BUT Terminix! Found out I had termites in my rental property and called Terminix without checking reviews. They sprayed like they were supposed to, then told me there were items in the crawlspace that needed to be removed. I paid them $390.00 that day to remove everything. They actually came out 2 weeks later to do the job. They took a few things, but not everything, and said they were finished. I've left at least 10 messages trying to get either my money back, or have them finish the job. I only hear "someone will call you back". The branch manager for Louisville, Alex, called me and set up a time to come out and look at the job that wasn't completed. Surprise, he was a no show and now won't answer his cell phone. I've called several times to cancel every contract I have with them (3) and so far, only one is cancelled. They have the worst customer service ever and I will NEVER use them again. Ever. Update: Alex did make it to the house, but still no answer from him regarding anything. And what do you know? I just got invoiced for one of the contracts! The absolutely worst customer service ever. these people suck have bed bugs they have been spraying for 5 months still have them worse than before. they keep saying bed bug free but my wife has alzhiemer and sleeps a lot she was getting ate up with bites that they say we did not have. I have thrown out my couch two beds and box springs and carpets. had to take to doctor 2 times. I don't know what they are using but it wont work. I would not recommend Terminix to anyone. We add them come look at a bug issue and they told us it is definitely termites, it will cost you $1,000. We called another company for a second opinion, the guy came out looked at the same thing the Terminix guy did and said its just postwood beetles, all you have to do is throw away the wall hanging they are eating and the problem is solved. Covid doesn't mean you can't answer the phone . I have been on hold with them from 12-20 minutes THREE TIMES. Each time they hang up as soon as the "on hold" talking stops . I then decided to go with the call back option . They let the phone ring for half a second just enough to have the call pop up on my phone , but didn't give me any time to answer . They don't follow appointment date times their drivers come whatever time of the day they want . If I could give zero stars I really would. This is one of the most unreliable company I have ever encountered. They have only come two times since being in service with me. They've even claim to come to my house and haven't shown up at all. Thank goodness for for 24/7 surveillance of my property. The company claims that they will show up, you even get text from some of the employees telling you they're on their way. If you're not home you may believe them if you don't have surveillance you might want to install it, because they will not show up even though they claim to have. Not to mention I still have tons of bugs because they don't do their job. You can't even call the branch you call the general phone number for all of Terminix who then reaches out to its branch within your city. They'll claim that they will come. You'll spend your entire day waiting for someone to never show. Not to mention the countless times they told me a manager would be calling me back in regards to my concerns about punctuality and reliability, both things this company truly lacks. I was paying for a service that I was not receiving. Talk about fraud. Unless you're a new customer I don't assume they will ever show up for you again. And unless you have surveillance don't assume they came. If you want to no-show company, with unreliable staff and false promise this is the company for you. If you don't wanna take my word for it and you want to take the risk good luck you'll need it. I canceled my service and I'll never go back I don't even care if they gave it to me for free. I signed up the treatment contract with them approximately 3 years ago, cost me over $4000 plus to install 47-50 bait stations surrounding the house, on the contract indicated that they will come twice a year to check bait and refill it if need to be, well the 1st year they showed up twice, 2nd year they only showed up once and this dude got NO glue whereabout my bait stations are, when I asked him that you should have some map or blueprints since my house is 12k square feet and set on 6 acres how can you find and check not to miss every single one? He then left and I called the salesman named Billy(black buy) he showed up the next day with the same problems, wlki around with the metal stick and kept on poking on the grLund, after followed him to complete circle, he found only 37 of course missing more than 10%. I was so disappointed called the office to address my concerns, no one answered until the point that 2 years contract was over, I then received many letters from them saying that I need to renew the contract, how the fuck Im doing business with you when you don't taking care of your customers? I'm not only disappointed their services, I'm also disappointed myself that I have sent many customers to them in those 2 years. So save your time and trouble, go elsewhere. read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could! Buying a home, had a pest inspection scheduled on a Thursday (they gave us a 2 hour window) of 3-5. We wait from 3-6 no one shows. After calling more than once they said " if he doesn't show just reschedule" we reschedule for that Saturday same 2 hour window of 3-5. We wait 3-6 again, called at 430 they assured us someone will be there. 530 rolled around we called again and they told us yet again to reschedule if he doesn't show. I was very excited about Terminix. All was going well....Then we had a no call no show for our interior service. I called and got it rescheduled. Then they no call no showed a second time. I called the main headquarters this time and let them know I was not satisfied and would appreciate some help. I did not want that technician to be upset with me that I told the company about the two no call, no shows. So they schedule a third time, I even took off work in order to accommodate, and a third no call no show. So I called and canceled. They did not try to help or resolve the issue. Pretty disappointed with their service. Took off work Monday to be available to meet an inspector, from 8-12, no one showed. After playing multiple rounds of phone tag, they finally apologized, said it was unacceptable, and it would never happen again. Rescheduled from 5-7pm the next day. Again no one showed. All they did was offer to reschedule again. I politely declined. People plan their lives in order to be available to have pretty serious issues taking care of in their homes. Taking off work, canceling meetings, all to be stood up and no closer to fixing the issue. In fact we canceled another inspector because we took their word they would be there. Multiple problems so far. Technician showed up early (great!) but never called ahead. They did not inspect inside my home at all. Only sprayed the perimeter and left. I have not been able get anyone on the phone to come back and inspect inside which was the package purchased. I was able to have my yard sprayed for mosquitoes again with their 100% guarantee. However my card was charged the next day for the service. Frustrated and will be cancelling my service. I wish they were easier to work with read more

The technician, Larry, was very professional and courteous. Everyone is extremely nice!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS LACK OF SERVICE. Was connected to them after leaving info on Thursday on a website https://groundhogremovalpros.com. Talked with them on Friday, set up appt for 10-12 time window on Saturday to help us trap and remove a groundhog. At 12:45 pm Saturday, we hadn't heard anything so we called to see what was going on. We had been put on someone's schedule who was still out on vacation! The kind woman at the call center let the person who was out on service calls know and he was going to call us if able to come out that afternoon or evening...nothing. Not even a call to say he wouldn't be able to make it. We had set up a time for Monday 10-12 just in case they couldn't help on Saturday. It is now past 12 on Monday and once again we had to call THEM to see what was going on. They couldn't get ahold of the person who was supposed to take care of the appointment, so left a message. He called shortly after that and left a message on my phone (because I was on the line with another service!). Said I could call him back if we wanted him to take a look but wanted to let me know they don't trap groundhogs, they have "other options" which is not what I was led to believe on Friday, nor what the initial website promoted where I initially left my information. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and seemingly lack of customer service. Everyone on the phone was very pleasant but every time we thought we had things confirmed nothing happened! I described the situation in full detail ( including the style of home) to the representative. she scheduled an appointment. with an inspector named 'Billy' for 1-3 pm Saturday. I informed my tenants of his arrival. however, He never showed up. I received a called to today from another person ( a Mr. Mike Harris) asking about the kind of property. I'm a live in owner of 3 unit home. I mentioned the lack of promptness on his associate's part to be with sassed with "..Will that be a problem?". Wish I could rate them no stars. Paid them a lot of money to take care of a bed bug problem that we acquired. They never got rid of them and when I called for a follow up they said our contract was expired. But it wasn't. When we had our initial inspection we were told they would come out every two weeks. They had to come out twice in a row and see no bugs before we got the all clear. Once we had the all clear we had 90 days to report any bug activity. We never got an all clear. But when I called to have them come back out they said you only have 90 days from the inspection and they would only come out if we signed a new contract and we would have to pay them again. They only are after your money and don't care about their customers. Why would they think I would pay them twice for a problem they didn't get rid of the first time. Plus many times when we had appointments they would not show up. Didn't call to say they weren't coming or anything. Customer service reps and managers are rude. I would definitely recommend using a different company. Be warned!! Terminix will take your money, waste your time, not get rid of your pest problem, and not follow through on their word.
