Calling store and asking questions would probably be a quicker method than walking in. I wasn't impressed with customer service but selection of patio furniture was nice.

We also needed to reupholster four dining table chair seats in black leather, and they also replaced the seat foam, making the 15+ year old chairs look and feel brand new. Freddy gave us a time estimate of one week, and the job was finished on time. Everything was perfectly done and looks flawless! He also gave us the remainder of the leather we purchased to cover the chair seats. We will be back for all of our reupholstery needs! Very pleased with the service and quality of the work.

In September of 2025, I spoke with Tony, who said he was the owner, and after he said that, powder coating and restrapping were all done in-house. He agreed to do a job within six days (in time for a pool party I was about to host). The days after this company picked up my furniture and accepted a hefty down payment went way beyond finishing in six days. Tony did not update me. He missed promised deadlines. He did not keep me apprised unless I tracked him down for information and demanded that I get my furniture back. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. After months of texts and calls, a person named Trushar started responding to me, claiming that he was the owner and that he would not acknowledge that I was speaking to a "Tony." That was very strange and very unassuring as a customer who was now worried that they were just going to walk away with my money and patio furniture. Let me say that after the first week, on the day of my party last September, they returned the 3 chairs that needed a little strap fixing. That portion was a $50 job, and I had paid way more than that up front. So, needless to say, I felt taken. Bottom line, to avoid getting my review removed for the 3rd time, after I suggested they finish the job and avoid a lawsuit, and after 8 months, they returned my vintage patio furniture, and they were refinished.I have never experienced anything like this before and will never again because I will do my due diligence and believe the reviews that I read (the ones that stick on Yelp). So, please save yourself. Move on to another company that has customer service and respects its customers and their time. Every bit of what I experienced was unnecessary. All Patio Furniture is not fit for business.

I ended up giving them a wash, hoping that the smell would disappear and it didnt, so today I tried and returned them with a receipt and original packaging and explained the situation. The manager at this store has been there for several years I think her name is "Elena" or "Helena"- she always has an attitude and is always extremely rude just by watching her when I visit the store and her interactions with other customers. She scolded me for washing them and said that she couldn't smell anything which is absolutely ridiculous. She said I was the FIRST PERSON EVER to return sheets at a HomeGoods for the smell. Even though it's all over Reddit as an issue. She said she'd do a "one time favor" but they can't be re-sold. They shouldn't have been sold to begin with without label stating they smell like chemicals. I brought her another sheets by the same brand and style so she could smell and she refused. Scolding a customer and then making me feel like I did the wrong thing by washing them to trying and get rid of the smell is insane when it literally says to do that on Google. One of the worst managers ever, i don't know how she has her job and represents the store to be honest.

Both leis and experiences were really seamless and didn't have any problems with my order. I went and picked up the leis a day in advance too. Inside you see one of their employees making leis at the table and there's options on the wall to choose from if your walking in. If you are ordering during a busy season, I recommend ordering it asap too. Would come back if I needed to go to any other graduations in the future!

We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

After my latest purchase from Terra Nova, I have decided I needed to make time and write a review for them. I have been shopping here for many years and I have to say, I could not be happy with my items! I have written another review before but, for some reason, it does not show. Every time I visit they have new, beautiful pieces and I always check with them before going anywhere else. Over the years, I keep getting compliments on my furniture and I realize many people still don't know them, so here I am, writing to make sure they get another well deserved excellent review so hopefully more people will know about this fabulous place. Their vintage pieces are definitely Asian but the new ones they make using reclaimed wood are modern, simple and just beautiful. Not many beds and no upholstered pieces here...They are known for their solid wood products that will last you a lifetime! You will also find lamps, chairs, tables, coffee tables and the most extensive collection of consoles and buffets in every color and size!. Wonderful store, really great, easy going, no attitude customer service and very, very reasonable prices (specially if you catch them during one of their big sales :) read more

What a wonderful furniture store! I found this place with my friend yesterday and fell in love with it. The owners Peter and Alejandra were so nice and helpful. All the gorgeous furniture pieces were such great quality. I found out that they can do custom designs and pieces as well. I'm hard to inoress with furniture but this place had great designs. I love some of the Asian accents and the woods. We sat at a wonderful dining table that you could mix and match benches or chairs. Rustic, quaint yet upscale and the prices were reasonable for LA. The showroom is huge and has great parking right in front. It seems they are having a nice summer sale and they were all about customer service. So many of their customers come back from what it seems and I can see why. I wish everyone to visit here and do all their home furniture purchasing. You won't be disappointed. read more

I purchased an antique Mongolian cabinet from Terra Nova approximately one month ago, sight unseen, over the Internet. I had been looking for a piece of furniture that would complete my eclectic living room for over one year. After locating what looked like an exceptional piece of furniture, I called Terra Nova and spoke with an associate named Jessica,who was extremely pleasant and helpful. She confirmed that the cabinet was available, over 150 years old and was in excellent condition. My cabinet arrived this week, just as pictured and the freight company, although a bit expensive for white glove delivery, were courteous and arrived in the time slot that we discussed. It was quite a gamble purchasing a cabinet from California when I live in Chicago, but it paid off and I couldn't be happier. read more

BETTER THAN 5 STARS!!! A class act all around with excellent quality furniture and the nicest, most decent people. Alejandra, Peter, and all the staff are wonderful. I ordered 2 madison chairs and 3 bar stools to be delivered to pennsylvania. The furniture is beautiful. One of the chairs leg was damaged during fedex shipping and when fedex wouldnt pay for the chair, the wonderful people at Terra Nova took the old chair, replaced it with a new one and ended up having to pay for shipping to pennsylvania. They ended up paying for shipping twice (once for the original chair and once for the replacement chair). Terranova is more than just a store, it is a whole experience. The owners take pride in their business and it shows!! As soon as you walk in you will find the most beautiful pieces of furniture very tastefully displayed. It makes you want to buy the whole place. We bought a Kuan Yin stone statue from Terra Nova and had the statue shipped from Los Angeles to our home in Maryland. Peter the owner was kind enough to give us a handsome discount and he had the delivery service to discount the shipping cost for us. The statue arrived in three weeks (five weeks promised for cross-country delivery) and was set up outdoors nicely by the delivery people (the statue weighs 206 lbs). We live in Las Vegas, but when we travel to California we always make a point to stop and see Terra Nova as they have so many interesting things. On our last trip we purchased a beautiful console. We were told that the delivery time to Vegas would be two to three weeks, however we just received our console in a week and the delivery company was extremely efficient and professional. I ordered a vintage sideboard from Terra Nova and it was the perfect addition to our dining room. I had been looking for a long time to find the right size, color, and fit for the piece and jumped on it when Terra Nova had exactly what I was looking for. Since I do not live in the LA area, I had to arrange shipping, which did take a few weeks, but the piece was handled with care and arrived in perfect condition. Terra Nova Designs has a wonderful blend of mixed Asian decor items, from large furniture, to statuary, to pillows and wall art. A lot of it is well priced, but some items are quite pricey. They are negotiable on prices, though, and this place is a delight to shop. The owners have great taste. read more

Despite repeated attempts to work with Designers Furniture Resource, I have been left with a sofa sleeper that is uncomfortable, poorly constructed, and, in my opinion, a complete lemon. There has been no meaningful solution, no opportunity to return the defective product, and no refund for what was nearly a $3,000 purchase. What has been most disappointing is not just the quality of the furniture, but the lack of accountability and customer service after the sale. Temporary fixes were discussed, but the underlying problems with the product remain, leaving me stuck with an expensive piece of furniture that does not perform as advertised. I wanted to support a local design retailer, but this has turned into one of the most disappointing purchases I've made. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business and would strongly encourage prospective buyers to think carefully before spending their money here.

Everyone who comes to my house and sits on the sofa doesn't want to get up! It's so comfortable but also an incredibly solid piece of furniture that I feel comfortable will last for ages. And has a lifetime warranty! I am also thrilled with the price/value proposition - I have a custom sofa made in Los Angeles for what I know to be a fair price. Shelagh and I had been shopping at H.D. Buttercup around the corner to no avail and were in the car about to leave the area. Then I spied the La Bella Cosa sign and we screeched to a stop and bopped into the store. I found my dining room table!! I have been looking for months and have never found anything that hit the mark. Walked into this shop and there it was right in the middle of the store. It's solid walnut (like the floors in my new place) and really heavy. Should seat 6 comfortable and comes with an extension leaf. They make the tables and you can choose the finish and either walnut or alder. Yes, the people at the counter are the owners and they're great! Turns out the husband, Brian, designed the table!! He's an LA boy and got into this kind of stuff when he was a teenager. His wife runs the shop with him and they are both adorable and full of information. They have an amazing collection of stuff, and on the other side of the shop is an entire store for upscale children's clothing and furniture. Thank you La Bella Cosa! Dinner is served.

On April 1, 2012, my sister and I bought FOUR identical dining chairs (that's 8 total) that cost $600 a piece or over FIVE THOUSAND dollars. I must say, the owners Brian and Heidi Adler were very helpful during the "BUYING" process. Their smiles and laughter was most evident, while we placed our nearly six thousand dollar chair order. Unfortunately, when my sister and I placed our order, we never expected what we would experience in the following 3 months. The amount of aggravation we experienced from this store was outrageous and all Yelpers should be aware of La Bella Cosa Oh by the way, the owner, Heidi Adler said that this was the first time in owning their store, La Bella Cosa that someone bought EIGHT identical dinner room chairs at the same time. Given we were the first in their 14+ year history of owing their store, that such an order was placed, my sister and I assumed that the manufacturing and delivery process would be as seamless as the buying process. BOY WERE WE WRONG. Unfortunately for us, the fun ENDED with the buying process. Not only were the chairs not delivered in the 4-6 week time frame that Heidi promised, but when they were delivered at the 7 week mark, SIX of the CHAIRS WERE DAMAGED Yes, that's right SIX of the chairs, was DAMAGED or DEFECTIVE. SIX of the chairs had such significant PROBLEMS, i.e. DEFECTIVE WOOD, POOR STAINING AND SLOPPY UPHOLSTERY work that I wouldn't accept these chairs if they cost $100 a piece let alone they're one of La Bella Cosa's "FLAGSHIP" CHAIRS. Rather than bore the reader with the countless phone calls to Heidi over the past 2+ months to rectify this situation, it took until JULY 4th, that's right, Independence Day to freed of this aggravation and finally have all eight chairs. These chairs did NOT come from Italy or Europe, they were manufactured in Los Angeles, and yet it took THREE MONTHS to deliver all chairs. OUTRAGEOUS! Oh by the way, when Heidi and her husband delivered the chairs (in multiple deliveries) they EXCLAIMED that in 14 years they have never been to someone's house 4 times. Well, since my sister and I have never bought SIX HUNDRED DOLLAR CHAIRS before, we were outraged that it would take over 3 months and five deliveries to finally deliver chairs without gauges, poor staining, black marks, amateur sanding and shoddy upholstery work. Unbelievable! Despite being paid nearly SIX THOUSAND dollars Brian would arrive and like a mute wouldn't even say hello. Very different from the buying process when he was so effervescent. Heidi enjoyed hiding behind her sun glasses, rather than apologizing for making us rearrange our schedule on not once, but five times to finally take delivery of our chairs. As I've remodeled my place, I've bought thousands of dollars of furniture from various stores and NONE were like La Bella Cosa. Deliveries on time, furniture was in pristine condition and NO ATTITUDE from the owners. How dare them! My sister and I chose to buy at La Bella Cosa instead of HD Buttercup or countless other large furniture stores, because we like to shop at independent owner operated stores and not just large furniture stores. We will NEVER shop at La Bella Cosa and I advise any folks to do so, to use a designer and not come in as a retail buyer. Maybe the designer will have a relationship with Brian and Heidi so that the delivery process is as enjoyable as the buying process. Who knows...? Or better yet, check out all of the furniture in HD Buttercup, or the many furniture stores on Melrose Ave and Beverly Blvd near the Design Center or on La Brea Ave. We will NEVER shop at La Bella Cosa again. Just received our last chair! Brain ignored my sister, Heidi marched in and hid behind her sun glasses. No I'm sorry for all of the inconvenience, no thank you for your business.... The owners Brian and Heidi Adler left like we were supposed to accept their defective chairs and be satisfied. Don't think so! Happy July 4th.... Hallelujah!!!

Not only did he chat with me for a few minutes on what I was looking for but then emailed me photos of things he thought might fit the bill. Now that's what I'm talking about!!! So all the customer service that has gone from every chain store - this is where it ended up... Who knew! Jose was very up front with me that his pieces were probably out of my price range but that did not stop him from helping anyway and he might just get a customer outta me yet. I did visit the store the next day just because of his kind treatment of me on the phone and it was a lovely store. I've got my eye on a piece that if it is still there after I save more; I might get it or at the very least I have a new option for any future pieces. Make sure to get directions to the store before you hit the rode. I never even knew there was store's where Tara is located and it's a little gem. Thanks Jose - hope to see you again.

I've been wanting to purchase a new couch for years, but I could never find what I was looking for. Not only that, but there are so many online sites with couches that I can't see in person, let alone sit on and feel the fabric. After searching for months online, I finally found Sofa Club through Yelp. I showed up once and talked to the owner. She helped me think about dimensions, material, color, etc. I went home and did some measurements in my home and came back a few weeks later to design it in person with her. I sat on couches, felt different materials, and found the most beautiful fabric on one of their swatches. It only took 8 days to create and deliver my couch. It's incredibly comfortable, I love the style, fabric and color. And it was a little over 2k, which I think is perfectly reasonable for the quality, materials and care that went into making this couch.
