We came on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30/3pm and found the outdoor patio and deck comfortably full. I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation if you are a larger party just so you are able to have a spot outside listening to the live music of the day. If you are lucky, the owner even takes the mic for some of his personal Italian favorites. This will definitely make for a more enjoyable experience overall as inside is nothing to write home about. You can casually stroll through the vineyard and enter the ever so romantic gazebo should you choose. We ordered a couple of bottles of wine which were both good. The Sauvignon Blanc that we had was a bit more on the sweet side but good and we also tried the 2013 TRE (red) which was good. It is nice that the vineyard offers something other than olives, crackers and cheese like the others and their pizza is a nice touch. The simply made with mozzarella, fresh tomato and basil has a nice crunch to it but was overall enjoyable. Other than the above average prices for food, there were no real complaints about the food here. The service was a bit slow, but who is in a real rush when they are outside on the patio enjoying a pizza and some wine? Buon appetito. read more

The stars of this vineyard are the staff and the pizza. The pizza was reminiscent of Tuscan pizza, fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes with a thin crispy crust. Delicious. The waitresses were all super sweet. The vineyard is on the smaller side so it is best to make a reservation. I personally was not a fan of the white wine, but the rest of the family enjoyed the reds. Worth the trip for fresh hot pizza alone! read more

For my 28th birthday , I had decided to explore the vineyards. I purchased a groupon for this winery , and it was awful. This was the last winery that I visited , and I thought that I would save the best for last. However this wasn't the case. There was so many flies , they were falling into my wine glass , and I couldn't even consume the pizza. My date left the table , because he refused to eat with flies. The other wineries /vineyards that I visited that day - did not have this issue. I already redeemed my Groupon , so I CANT get my money back. If you are looking for a four/five star vineyard- I wouldn't recommend this place. Jamesport vineyards is terrific , I would recommend that instead of this fly infested farm. read more

Hi, Sal, the owner. I was with the party that Caroly G commented. I was actually the one who recommended taking my group. I was so disappointed. Believe me when we tell you that we waited over an hour for our pizza. One pizza arrived first, The others had to watch us eat until their pie came another 15 minutes later. Our waitress basically ignored us the entire time. I have enjoyed your wine in the past, but that day, what we were served was not good at all. We watched other tables get their pizza before us, and they arrived after us. Since our waitress told me she forgot to place my spritz order, I am beginning to think she forgot to place our entire order until after I said something 30 minutes later. Telling us you were very busy that day, a prime time of year is not acceptable. You only serve Pizza! The poor girl, the only one, who makes and brought it to us seemed so stressed out as well. We where in the area and stopped in too do the wine and pizza Groupon and the wine was pretty good but for some reason the waitress was really rude gave off a very unwelcoming vibe, even gave her the twenty percent on what it would of been without Groupon so I don't know what we did wrong. Visited this joint on Manor Ln. yesterday, 9/23/2019, with my son. It was Monday and they were OPEN. Day was beautiful... and they ruined it. Nasty experience! Never ever again! They MUST BE CLOSED for public!!! Place is so-so. But it is NOT a winery, it's a bad over priced diner. Procedure they call winetasting: you sit yourself outside; a girl brings a menu of 4+ 4 "wines"; any three from the 1st list - $16 to "taste"; any one from the 2nd list - $6 extra. That's single tasting! We ordered just 4 "wines" for $22. There was no bottle opening and pouring from a bottle you could see and analyze, no explaining, no winetasting! Girl brought 4 very little legless glasses (NOT wine glasses!) with just 20-30 mL (1 - 1.5 tablespoon) of liquids in each. ($22+$2 tip = $24!) What they called "wines" had no taste, no distinction. Four similar sour juices. Can you imagine Chardonnay tastes same as Riesling?? Merlot - same as Cabernet! All four Diliberto "wines" tasted as 8% alcohol in 3% vinegar! I should not have paid! I should have called a manager! Thank God there are other wineries on North Fork, thank God Pindar erased Diliberto's aftertaste! This business did not deserve a single star. I rate it at 0. Only because there is no choice of zero, I put them at 1 star. 9/25/2019 In response to Mr. Salvatore Diliberto's comment posted below: Sir, 1st, my son is 30, so don't worry. 2nd, you are trying to undermine my honest review. It will not help you. 3rd, as I wrote: "I should not have paid! I should have called a manager!" But I decided better: not to further spoil the day by arguing with somebody, but leave the bad place ASAP. It was right decision. My son's visit was too precious to waste it in your place. I knew there existed great places on North Fork, and we rather spent time visiting them, including great winery of Pindar. Actually, the contrast between yours and theirs helped to enjoy more our time there. 4th, I wrote precisely this (Quote): "Can you imagine Chardonnay tastes same as Riesling?? Merlot - same as Cabernet!" I did not write "your Riesling... your Cabernet"!!! Please do not invent my words. Our second red was some blend, and I forgot our second white. But I repeat and explain: your Chardonnay tasted the same as a cheap Riesling; and your Merlot had the same taste as some typical cheap Cabernet. And all four samples were indistinct and too acidic. 5th, I am a scientist, measure small volumes of solutions all my life. Your samples were 20-25 ml, 30 ml at the most! I really hope my writing will help you, in case you really want to master this ancient and noble art of winery! Good luck! read more

More like DICKbertos!!! This was genuinely the worst vineyard experience I have ever had. Can I actually tell you how horrible it was? We had to ask for water 4 times and when we finally got a response he threw the pitcher in my hands and told me to "fill up"..That was only the icing on the cake. We ordered pizzas and they ended up cancelling our order. The staff never thought to check on the table numbers to make sure we were satisfied. There were only three tables!!!!!! After TWO hours, we finally got pizza and it tasted like flour. All of us are full and finally ready to leave, we are mounting bicycles and an elder couple (who must own the winery) ran out accusing us of DEBAUCHERY. Has ANYONE ever told them that the customer is always right?!! I don't know...call me old school. I just want to warn you about our experience before you decide to have your own. read more

Very nice vineyard. there's indoor seating, patio seating and seating on the lawn. We didn't have the food since we already ate but it smelled amazing especially the pizza. The only problem, and main reason I wouldn't go back, is the staff. They didn't seem too knowledgable on what they were serving and had to be prompted to explain what wine was in my glass. Other staff was too busy drinking wine behind the counter and enjoying themselves. I don't mind the staff enjoying themselves but when they're having fun service gets left behind. read more

I have absolutely no idea how this winery has ANY negative reviews! My husband and I have been here a few times in recent years and have always been very pleased. (Let me just mention that we have been to every single winery on both the north and south forks of Long Island over the past 8 years; we continually choose to return to Diliberto). As soon as you step inside, you are transported to Italy, both with the sounds of the music and sights of beautifully painted wall scenes. The pizza is always freshly made and delicious. I am not a fan of dry wines but I did enjoy their Sauvignon Blanc. My husband always likes their Tre blended wine. Another thing that I really appreciate about this winery is that the owner is always involved, preparing plates, serving guests, and even singing! (He has a magnificent voice!). He works very hard and takes such pride in his winery. Can't wait to return! read more

By far our favorite on the north fork wine tour. Just 5 wines and they're good but not amazing. But most people visit the vineyard for good wine and the experience. best Vineyard in wine country. Yes. It is smaller than most but that is what helps make it so good. Best of all is the atmosphere--not just the setting but the staff. who is more friendly, happy, personable than Maryann, Barbara and Sal. Do I like all the wines? No. but most are Good; None are terrible; and some are downright Graet especially the TRE. this more expensive than most? Yes. Is it worth the extra dollars? Definitely!! Purchased LivingSocial coupon for pizza and wine. Decided to take a nice drive out there with my mom and 1 year old daughter. Called and made reservations for 2 adults. We got there and saw a sign that said no one under 21 allowed (wording may not be 100%). Mom and I had a quick chuckle and joked "Oh no, looks like the baby can't go in". Ummm yea.... we were told by the hostess that she couldn't seat us because they don't allow people under 21!!! I'm like my daughter is a baby!! She's a year old!!! Whenever I see a place that has a ton of good review on Yelp and a few bad ones, I tend to ignore the bad reviews and go anyway. However, I really think everyone reading this should take my poor review into consideration because I would never want anyone to experience what I did here. Of course, I'm sure on some days this place is FINE, but when you're going to a LI winery for some tasting, don't you want it to be AWESOME? So, I bought a Groupon for a pizza and wine tasting for 2. I made a reservation and we arrived on time. We were seated outside on a small kind of lame patio, but hey I won't judge the appearance if the wine is good. We are seated and immediately given the first wine to taste. It was a 5/10 (and i go by taste people, not whether it is $5 or $500). Ok, on to the next one, right?! No. We were left sitting outside in 83 degree weather with the HOT sun on us, which once again was fine if we were given some water or more wine...just some attention really. We were ignored for 1 hour. We were given pizza and when we told the woman who gave us the pizza we weren't waited on in 30 min she did NOTHING except go back inside. We then got up to leave after another 25 minutes went by with NO WATER, NO WINE, NO SERVICE and they suddenly were all apologetic. I told the owner theres really NO excuse and I want my money back for the Groupon and they said no and immediately served us the rest of the wine for the tasting. Honestly, even though we did get the wines and the pizza it was only until we threatened to leave that they even gave me what I PREPAID for. I left no tip, which I NEVER do, because honestly that is just not what a wine tasting should be. If you're considering this place, play it safe and try one of the tons of other wineries within minutes of this one...better safe than sorry. I am never coming back here and I am definitely going with a winery that has a solid reputation the next time I make the trip out east. read more

HORRIBLE service. This winery is totally off the north fork wine trail and should be nicer to their customers. It is not a family friendly vineyard and when I came with my sleeping quiet six month old daughter was rudely kicked out and told to go to a different vineyard down the street. It's okay for them to have party busses with drunken fools, but I can't even bring my quiet child to their cheap, empty vineyard with crappy wine. Two girls working were rude and nasty. There are much better vineyards all over the north fork. Definitely not going there ever again. read more

Horrible. As north fork locals we go to the wineries almost once a week in the fall. We decided to try this one out aftet seeing it on groupon. They wouldn't accept our groupon because we didn't have a reservation even though it was pretty empty. We tried there sangria which tasted like vinegar, then bought 2 bottles of wine for our group and sat outside. The sauvignon blanc smelled like horse manure. I have no idea how that is even possible. The bottle of red we purchased had a bad cork, smelt vinegary, and was very tangy. Although embarrassed to return the bottle we did and were told the wine was not bad but the owner prefers his wine a little tangy. The second bottle of red was a hair better. We ended up pouring our glasses back in the bottle and going down the road to jasons. I don't thibk I would even cook with this wine. read more

we purchased a groupon for this winery and visited with a few friends. we were seated in a small enclosed outdoor porch and though it was a chilly fall day i must say it was very comfortable and warm in this area. i did not care for the wine at all however the sangria was half decent. the pizza tasted like cardboard, the service was poor at best, the employees were unfriendly and appeared to be annoyed to be there. they provided live music on the day we were there and it was excellent but in such a smalled closed in area the volume was overwhelming and we were not able to hold a conversation with each other over the music. it is a small family business and if for no other reason i really wanted to like it and return with future business but we will not be returning. read more

This was our last winery for the day, or should I say evening since we didn't get there til about 8pm. Luckily, Diliberto stays open until 9pm. The winery has a lot of charm. The interior is made to look like your in the middle of Italy, The server was very personable and since it was a quiet night he was more than willing to explain the wines and joke around with us.
