This is a really cute store and cafe. The staff were super friendly. We were greeted right away and told if we need any help they'd be right there to lend a hand. The store has a TON of cute home decor and knickknacks. I could very easily put many of these items in my home. The hummus plate was great with an assortment of veggies to choose from and the latte hit the spot! They have a wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Definitely pretty pricey. The plants seemed to be in pretty good shape. I did notice mites on a few of the indoor plants (if you're a plant person you know this isn't too uncommon, however, a store specializing in plants should be treating this).

Always love this lunch. Delicious food. The fries were out of the ordinary but the cheese was good. The grits were also unexpectedly square and in a patty but still delicious. The drinks are always spot on. The service was friendly and helpful, fast and efficient without feeling rushed. And we love the atmosphere. It's calm peaceful and full of interesting people.

This cafe is located within a garden store, that is quite expansive and has an indoor and outdoor area. Everything was neatly organized. The prices were a little high for certain plants you can find elsewhere at almost half of the price so that was a big deterrent in purchasing any plant. I got a latte and garlic hummus from the cafe, both of which were good. I would have both again and try other items from the menu. The ambiance is very cute overall, will definitely come back

Such a cute spot! Terrain Café has a charming atmosphere and an adorable little shop attached to it, which made the whole experience even better. We visited during a busy time and there was a wait, so we decided to sit at the bar and it turned out to be a great choice. We were able to eat right away and the bartenders were so fun and entertaining to watch. We ordered the Harvest Bowl and fried avocado Benedict. It was delicious, fresh and healthy and satisfying. After brunch we wandered through the shop and ended up doing a little shopping too. Overall, great food, great vibe, and great service. We'll definitely be back for brunch next time we're in town! Yelp ya later!

This place is amazing! It's gorgeous, unique, and the food was wonderful. We did a girls lunch and got a couple of grain bowls, a Caesar salad with chicken, and their grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was crunchy, with nice apples and brie. Delicious! our server was fantastic, very patient with us and the cocktails were also amazing. My favorite thing was the bread in the flower pot! With the maple butter! Unbelievable I absolutely love this lunch!.

This is a very unique concept restaurant. The service was outstanding and the recommendations were great. The food was the best part. I had shrimp and grits and hummus to start. Highly recommend.

I came here with my family for brunch over a holiday weekend. We made reservations in advance. Despite it being a pretty large restaurant, it was busy. They serve each table bread and a special butter. The bread was very fluffy and soft. The butter was flavored with fennel pollen. I ordered the mushroom frittata, and substituted the potatoes hash for sourdough. The frittata was topped with goat cheese and served with lightly dressed greens. The food was delicious. The whole restaurant is garden-themed and there's a large store attached to it that sells household/beauty products, plants, gardening products, decor, etc. It was nice to eat in such a beautiful and green space!

Love the ambiance here! I recommend making a reservation in advance. My friend and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and waited for only around an hour (luckily), the restaurant was packed! They have indoor and outdoor seating. What is really nice is that when you're waiting you can check out their shop and garden! It's so beautiful and they have great stuff. Their items in store and at the restaurant are a bit pricer for what you're getting though. Since it seems more upscale and farm to table I was expecting better service. Our server messed up our drinks and food order and rarely checked in on us. As for the food, I got the shakshuka which was good, not the best ever but decent. I wish it was a little more salty, but the fresh tomatoes made up for it. My friend got a frittata and thought it was okay. Needed more salt as well. We definitely do not recommend the matcha as you can't even taste it. But my blackberry spritzer was good. All in all, food was okay, vibes were great, service was not up to par for cost. Note: the parking lot is small, hard to find parking, they have valet

Terrain has the best brunch and service. The French toast is my fav. Not too sweet just a perfect balance. I always try to get their seasonal coffee which tastes great.

This place is great! The store they have had very aesthetic and nice plants, pots, and decor. The cafe is hidden inside it all and the space is so cool! Beautiful plants surround you as you eat and it has an open and bright concept which makes for a very good brunch. The service was also very friendly and welcoming. We got the Shakshuka which was so flavorful and the consistency was great with the bread to be dipped in! The chickpeas were also nice and crispy. We also got the chicken Caesar salad which was also very good. The dressing was perfect and the chicken was grilled to perfection. We also got some mimosas and a whiskey drink they were offering which was very fragrant. Highly recommend this place for a brunch with a group of people or a date. It's beautiful and delicious and you won't be disappointed!

    Short Rib & Eggs*

We stopped in for breakfast right at open at 10am. It was super cold out and windy and we had to wait outside until 10 on the dot, which was a little annoying. The ambiance is unmatched, a really cool earthy type spot. We were met with a nice server who took our orders fairly quickly. We ordered a few different things. The flower pot bread is a cool fun thing, and it was good with the red wine specialty butter. The short rib and egg was delicious - really juicy and didn't even need to touch my knife since it fell apart with my fork. I wish they added a little more sauce to lap up the potatoes with, and it would've been great had they offered the option to add another egg for a couple bucks. Also needed a dash of salt. The mushroom frittata was good but also could've used a bit more goat cheese. I snagged a bite of the kids pasta with red sauce, and it was ok, a bit al dente. This is our second time here - the first was around a similar experience. Some tasty food but a couple changes could make it truly great.

Imitation crab & shredded Parmesan on truffle fries. YUCK!

Drinks: cocktail was well crafted, although was surprised to see wine by the glass only!? Apps: Fluke crudo - tender, with so many unusual flavorings. Just spectacular. Maitake Mushrooms - earthy, smokey and full of flavor. King Salmon - again, very unique preparation, Fish was like butter; cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. Only critique - could have used something more to round out the meal... wild rice maybe? was a bit small. Burger - top 5 ever! Not over packed. Perfect medium rare, also bursting with flavor. Bacon jam and siracha and other seasonings on a tender brioche (?) bun. In contrast to the salmon, it was a really big burger, but I couldn't stop eating it, and super crispy fries made it complete. Peanut butter sundae - warm peanut butter foam with chocolate ice cream & chocolate fudge. Balanced and delicious. Ambiance was average -- small, with narrow paths; no tablecloths and hard chairs. A bit surprising, had expected a bit more upscaled given the menu, but the food was amazing, and our server was very knowledgable and helpful. We will be back!

So I've actually debated whether or not to include this UberEats delivery review. The first time I…read moretried to go through with it, I just couldn't really figure out what to write. I only ordered it on UberEats this past Friday night, so it's not like I actually went there. However, the more I ate and thought about it, the more I realized something. This is the 4th year in 6 I've done a pre-birthday send-off UberEats order, and this is my 3rd year in a row doing so. In 2021, I had Edo on the last week before I turned 30. 2024, it was Boatyard at Smokey Joe's in Stamford, ordered on April 18. Last year, I did the Norwalk location of Elm Street Diner on April 24. If we want to take that into consideration, then that would be reason enough to sum my thoughts up together and get something down. So to send off age 34, say hello to Walrus Alley! If I'm being honest, I always wanted to have a barbecue right before my birthday of this year of all years. It only felt appropriate for 2026. Originally, I was going to have Wire Mill Saloon from Redding delivered using Yelp, but one of the items I'd ordered was out of stock, so that got canceled and I turned my sights here and ordered what I would have gotten from Redding. This was a half-rack of ribs, an order of Mac & Cheese, side of cornbread (this one came with coleslaw and pickles), and an a la mode chocolate bourbon pecan pie. The pecan pie was the only change since if I had gotten the Redding order, I would have had a key lime pie a la mode. I also put in some Alabama sauce because it does ribs a new flavor to play along with. I had everything over the next three days, hence why I am writing this review now. I will start by saying the ice cream did not make it without melting, but that's okay. I wasn't expecting it to since my driver did have to make a bunch of stops along the way, making my order take over an hour to deliver. No fault on the driver or restaurant there, and I ended up drinking the ice cream anyway, and it was still refreshing, so c'est la vie. The pecan pie it came with was actually really good. I found that it's better if you let that chill off a bit. Don't use plastic silverware for this one for the pie will break them, but delicious and sweet all the same. I'd love to have this in an in-person visit. In contrast, the cornbread should be warm when you eat that. It's buttered and soft, but it might be too dry if you try to eat it cold. The pickles are more of the spicy kind. I prefer sweet pickles, but I don't mind them being spicy either. The coleslaw I will say suffers the same fate that befell the one from Boatyard: it doesn't taste like true coleslaw. They should take a bit of inspiration from the Smokies (think Eastern Tennessee or Western NC) to learn how it should be done. It's lacking that mayonnaise component that truly makes it coleslaw. If they added that, then we might be talking! I decided to leave the ribs and Mac & cheese for last in the review because they do provide reheating instructions for those who order take-out such as myself. The Mac & cheese was actually eaten very late on the first night. The instructions given for Mac & cheese were spot-on, baking at 375 for 10 minutes before I dug in. It was some damn good Mac & cheese. Cheesy, love the breadcrumbs, and very satisfying overall. The ribs were the last to be finished. I will say I did also follow the instructions for the ribs as they were written; however, unlike the Mac & cheese, the ribs were still cold in the middle after 20 minutes in 375. You need the microwave to finish the job here. The ribs themselves were good. They weren't the best ribs I've ever eaten, but they were tender, the BBQ sauce was tasty, and the meat fell right off the bone. I will say that for this meal it needs a healthy amount of Alabama sauce all on it to really elevate it, but other than my experience reheating them this was my only criticism. Overall, a worthy BBQ meal. I'd still pick Hindsight BBQ over this if faced with deciding which CT BBQ to go with, but this will get the job done and then some if you need good BBQ. I'd love to come in-person one night and experience this place firsthand.

Several groups of bread, olive oil and olives placed on our large table were evenly distributed so there was not a lot of passing around. The salad was lightly dressed, flavorful and nicely complimented with thin slices of parmesean cheese. The food is as close to homemade as you can imagine. The eggplant parm was not heavy and delicious. The pasta primavera was a favorite among many. Lots of veggies with a delicate cream sauce. My sister and I had the Parpardelle. So delicious! Not a heavy meat sauce but rather small pieces of thin sausage complimented with hearty mushrooms and peas. The parpardelle was a wide very thin pasta making this dish extra delicious. We had a 6:30PM Saturday reservation, and we sat in the outside portion of the restaurant; complete with roof, walls and a nice breeze. Menu is a lot of pasta, chicken, pizza, some apps, plus specials. We ordered fairly quickly. Clams Casino & Maldani Pizza for Apps. Risotto, Lasagna and 2 Pasta Dishes for mains. We noticed a band was tuning up, which I wasn't thrilled about. The apps arrived before the music started, and while the Pizza was pretty good, their version of Clams Casino was not. More like baked or stuffed clams with a huge chunk of bacon on top, that dominated the entire flavor of the clam. While waiting for about 40 minutes for the entree, the band kicked into high gear. What started off with some Italian Classics, quickly turned into a loud, bad wedding band. "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison, stopped all conversation at the table. All we could do was wait for dinner, and laugh at the ridiculousness. The Lasagna was good, but the rest of the meal was not. Linguini and Clams was way too salty, Risotto was dry and just not good. My Pappardelle il Forno was disappointing. Overcooked pasta, and a strange sauce for almost $30.00. The desserts were the star, coffee was good and our servers were nice. But a bill of about $300.00, {after tip and tax} is totally unjustifisble. Also, we noticed that during dinner, a breeze would bring the stench of either the dumpster or a dead animal on the property, to our noses. A perfect omen. This place needs to lose the band, fire the cooks, and revamp. It was pretty awful. Maybe at one time this place was really good, but that time has long passed....
