Great neighborhood brewery in an up and coming area. Totally dog friendly inside and out and dog brunch on Sundays. I've only sat and had some of their beers, which are tasty. Brewery is a short walk from Edgewater Park, a big plus. Parking can sometimes be difficult. read more

Here right now, getting the weirdest treatment. They cannot accommodate seating for a party larger than 7 sitting comfortably, they aren't able to keep track of separate orders (maybe understaffing?) I've worked as a server for 6 years and never felt so uncomfortable. We are here to celebrate for my brother's wedding and honestly are so underwhelmed with the attitude of the servers. They act like they can't see you--and then are begrudged to do their job. Maybe they need a mental health day or better pay? Yikes. read more

Everybody knows Terrestrial is probably the most dog friendly brewpub in NE Ohio. Good beer, laid back atmosphere, great pub fare - and dogs! What you may not know, is they have recently opened a sit down restaurant in the space immediately next door to the bar. Had brunch there last Sunday, and it was absolutely delicious! The brunch menu features a number of inventive takes on traditional breakfast fare, and the restaurant side also boasts a full bar. Unfortunately you will have to leave your four legged friends home if you want to visit the restaurant side of the house, but it is totally worth it! read more

Was able to get in for the opening and it was a great spot! They have a great selection of beer and I was able to try a flight (see pic) all of which were good and extremely drinkable. Very dog friendly as I saw at least 5 dogs inside while I was there. Huge green space right next to the brewery/patio and it's got a great view to the lake! Only cons were no food but it sounds like they're partnering up with multiple local restaurants (including the pizza place, Cha, that shares the building with them) so easily remedied. Their bar that serves the alcohol is surprisingly tiny and I could see it being difficult on busy days to get a beer. But I imagine they will be adapting the bar as they settle in which is why neither of these cons took a star off. Definitely plan on going back. read more

Located near Edgewater, this is a perfect stop on either going to the beach or leaving. But, the best part of Terrestrial is that they allow dogs. I really like Terrestrial Brewing Company. They do IPAs really well and I seriously have never had a bad one here. My most recent favorite is The Fog That Surrounds which is bursting with hoppy good flavors and citrus notes (lemonheads). I also like the atmosphere at Terrestrial. It's not pretentious, they have an outdoor patio and it's close to Edgewater Park/Beach. If you are a fan of dog watching rather than people watching, this is the place for you. They don't have a kitchen, but they bring in local catering/food companies to provide the foods, in case you get hungry. Last time I was there, it was Mountain Man Food Co. He does a mean Grilled Cheese-it had blueberries & mozzarella in it which seemed a little off to me, however the flavors really meshed well. Excellent all around! I hosted my sister's baby shower here and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The space is awesome; open layout, various seating configurations, and the wide open garage door letting in a cool breeze and a view of the trains passing by in the back. Tony was super easy to communicate with and really flexible with our arrangements. On the day of, Heather was extremely accommodating and helpful as we set up; she had every detail covered. They were both so generous and treated the guests of honor like true VIPs. The beer was delicious and the staff was knowledgeable. The soundtrack was on point. Again, I am so pleased with everything and highly recommend hosting your event here or just stopping in for good vibes and good beer! Thank you Terrestrial! read more

Terrestrial has a wonderful location within walking distance to the new boathouse at Edgewater. They have an amazing selection of beers to choice from, along with other spirits to enjoy. No food but you can bring some in. The patio over looks a beautiful open grass area and viewing of the train. You can see the lake as well. The bad thing about the patio, which is not just at Terrestrial but at all local establishments, is the smoking in the patio. It becomes a little to much on a hot humid day and the collection of butts is a eye sore. I did see one person walk out to hit her cig - which was respectful. They provide self serve water for yourself and or your dog. Dogs are welcome in most businesses in Gordon Square/ Ohio City. Just a friendly remember: just because you can don't always means you should. You should always put the safety of your pet first. read more

We went on Memorial Day. It was pleasantly packed and they had a BBQ tent set up on the far back patio. Unfortunately the BBQ was sold out and it was a holiday so... no food! But they do have many local places (clearly displayed on the wall) to order food from! I enjoyed the experience, I honestly don't like dogs in a bar! I feel bad for them (they all seem so stressed out and unsure why they are there) but it was fun to people watch and enjoy a couple flights! Lovely bathrooms, but I feel a huge missed marketing moment in there! It's clean and clinical... put some decor up! Have fun with it, it's a brewery. Go enjoy the patio and the lake view. Stumbled upon this brewery one Friday night looking to change it up. Advertisement or signage for the place is nonexistent You could tell most of its customers were locals that walk there. Good atmosphere and set up with plenty of pups! View of the lake which was nice. You could tell the place was new and just opened because there is no food menu. Bartender was average but prompt and kept the booze flowing which is all you can ask for. Beer I would give 3.5/5! Will probably come back once it's been open for a bit longer read more

I've been here a couple times and really enjoyed it. They don't serve food, so our 4 legged barking friends are welcome! Staff has so far been friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Beer is pretty good. Nice selection. Venue is fun, you are sitting in the brewery, next to the tanks. The view from the back patio is the shoreway, and our beautiful Lake Erie. I enjoy this place. What a great new addition to Cleveland and Battery Park!! I am loving all the breweries popping up and this one is unique in that it does not have food and is dog friendly inside and out. Guys, I'm a total fan solely because they are dog friendly. I was loving the train going by every once in a while, thought that was a unique treat, people were walking over there to see it pass. The interior is super nice how it is lined with windows and open garage door to let in the air and the light. However, they said they have AC so it wont be sweltering in the heat! The ceilings are super high which is awesome to look at too. Most staff were very friendly and interested in talking about the place. Beer: very very good. They have a good amount of their own beers as well as others. Loved that you just write your own selections to sample. The infused tower beer was super cool and loved the flavors. The IPA was also super delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to check this place out and show other people this new place, come and sit on the patio some day. read more

Always a favorite!! We fell upon this place a few months after they opened and we have had a love affair with them ever since! They truly make complex and tasty beers. They're wacky, maybe even crazy with the brews that they come up with: cocoa puff cereal in the ferment process? Why not? An infusion tower of Pilsner, oranges, clove, cinnamon and habanero? Of course!! Witbier, Lager, IPA, Pilsner, Porter, Ciders, you'll find them here in an ever-rotating menu. PLUS - La Plaza has permanent residence here now serving up some delicious tacos, quesadillas, nachos and chips & salsa. If you haven't tried this place out yet.....well you should be ashamed of yourself!! They are very dog friendly (as long as they're well-behaved) and we have spotted children here as well. Great new brewery spot. In a cool spot just inland from Edgewater park on the lake. Not very large but the patio is pretty big and even though it was busy it was not difficult to get a beer. I will be back. The beers were actually very good with one exception. I liked everything I had but the #1 Denali. It tasted good but had a rotten smell to it. I think it was the pineapple/mango they infused into it. The smell was off-putting enough that i would not drink it again. read more

We went to the Terrestrial Brewing Company for the first time last week because we heard it was dog friendly. We didn't know how truly dog friendly the bar was. They had bowls and toys out and ready to be used. There were at least 10 other dogs and their humans there as well. I found out that you can bring your own food in while you enjoy Terrestrial brews. This may be my favorite cleveland brewery. And in a brewing city, that's a tough decision. Everything I've had has been amazing! They have an infusion tower that they use to make their already great beer extra special -- sometimes it's by adding fruit or extra hops or maybe even some bacon. The taps rotate so frequently (and they don't have a flagship beer) that you likely won't have the same beer on two visits. Depending on your personality, you may love or hate that. I think it's awesome! I like to try as many styles and flavors as possible and try not to order the same thing twice. The patio spaces are awesome (and very dog friendly) and they have partnered with some really tasty restaurants for food options. read more

I gotta separate the review into beer and atmosphere. We drank our way around the menu and we unanimously agree that the beers have a feminine slant to them. There is something off just enough to make it fall short of the caliber of beer you would find at a Market Garden or Great Lakes. I guess I would call their beers JV and the other places offer Varsity beers. Atmosphere is fantastic, especially when Big Love Acoustic plays. The neighborhood has a noise ordinance so this bar quiets it down around 11pm. A great addition to the Battery Park neighborhood for sure. read more

Friendly place that is adjacent to a park and has a patio. I like seeing the dogs! I like to go when the weather is good.

This is a great microbrewery that is a little ways off the beaten path in Battery Park. They are a smaller brewery, that brews a lot of small batches, making for an ever changing variety of options whenever you go. A negative here is that they do not sell food, however this may be a positive to some, as both the indoor and outdoor areas are dog friendly. The outdoor area has a lot of picnic tables and is positioned to get the afternoon shade from the building. I have had a lot of samplers here as there always seems to be a lot of new options. My favorite beer from here was the Watch Party, a pale American wheat ale, which I am hoping to see return this summer. I have yet to have a poor brew from here. The brewery's location is also near one of the walkways which crosses under the shoreway, to lead over to Edgewater, which is always a great option on a summer day. All in all, even though it is a bit out of the way, this a brewery we regularly like to visit, with their high quality, variable, selection of craft brews. read more

Terrestrial is great for a new brewery. I only give 4/5 because this place is so new that I think they are still working out a few kinks here and there. The beers are good with interesting flavor profiles. The use of interesting flavors, like ras al hanout, is a reason to come. They also offer a small but good selection of guest beers. The space itself is open and has a feeling of being very new. The side patio is a great, fun place to hang out and you can watch the occasional train go by. Dog friendly. Service is also good! My only criticism has nothing to do with food or service---on the smaller back patio there is a motion light at night that is horribly annoying if you sit out there. Not a big deal but I wish they would do away with that and put up some softer lighting in the back. The side patio (which is bigger) is perfect. I would also mention to first time visitors that this place is kind of all by itself in its location, which is within residential Battery Park. There are two restaurants nearby within walking distance, but no other bars so plan accordingly if you plan to make a whole night out of it on a weekend. It has never been a problem for us, as we've made Terrestrial the destination each time we've visited. All in all Terrestrial is a great new spot to try in Cleveland. Terrestrial Brewing Company is my go-to spot when I want to get out of the house for a beer with my dog on a low key Sunday afternoon. It is truly dog friendly. When you go, prepare to be around many dogs, so be aware if you have doggo allergies. Dogs are (obviously) required to be on a leash with their owner inside the establishment. Great variety of beer choices. Love that they usually have a sour or gose option on the menu. It's nice that they've added La Plaza to improve food options. A bit more expensive than the original place on Lakewood Heights Blvd, but people seemed to be enjoying the food. read more

There is no standard food menu. There were $1 chips and pretzels available and a speciality item available from a tent behind the bar. Otherwise the numbers of local restaurants were written on the brick wall in chalk. There are several good options around for brining in food. The beer menu was one page of in house beers and a half sheet of other brewers' beers that were available. The beers are varying ABV all the way up to 10% and come in various ounce servings. I enjoyed an IPA. The rear bar was comfortable and the interior space was large. There is a pretty big patio as well. At the rear bar however there were lots of flies and fruit or drain flies that it was noticeable. read more

The beers are solid, not the talk of the town. They went to a host/hostess-only service during Covid and never turned back, so they make it feel like we're being granted a special favor when we ask to grab a beer at the bar and just hang on the patio. It feels very Immigrant Son-esque, a restaurant brewery now. Table service at a brewery isn't for me, but it may be the right move for the battery park crowd.
