I don't live close enough to make this a regular stop, but whenever I'm downtown with my dog I like…read moreto stop in and maybe get the pup a treat. On my most recent visit (couple of days ago), I was surprised to see the store has very little stock. Not sure what's going on, but there was far more empty space on the display racks than there was product. If I had actually needed something, it would not even have been worth going in. Additionally, the entire time I browsed the store, neither of the two workers behind the counter bothered to ask if they could help me. They only said "hi" in response to my first saying hello.

During that time have been dog mom to six dogs, four of which have visited the store with me. We drive up from the valley several times a year. Upon our most recent visit a gentleman decided to tell me all about my dog, her teeth, and what she can and cannot eat. She's been eating WB treats for her entire 14 years of life. If we are on a trip up there without her, we bring some back to her and her sister. If she is with us, she gets to pick. This day she wasn't interested in any of the handheld offerings, so he continued telling me about her teeth. The cold, hard truth is - my dog reads me. That's her deal. She knew I didn't like him, so she didn't like him, so she didn't want any of his selections. We wound up spending like $5, against his better advice, which is far less than we usually spend. Hell, we bought our first dog stroller there many moons ago - back before they were a common thing. I was really unimpressed this visit and will think twice before going in again. Thanks for nearly ruining one of our favorite spots. :/ (He mentioned he's the "only staff.")

What a wonderful place to take your pup whether it's just for a day of play or boarding for a few…read moredays. We have done both, and every time, we felt comfortable and confident with the care that the staff showed. Reasonable prices and a report card after the stay! We were even pleasantly surprised by the cute interactive pictures of our pup enjoying playtime with her fellow pup friends. We have since moved out of the state, but will definitely miss this place! If you're looking for a great place to board your pup, this is it!

As soon as I pull into the parking lot, he's already whining to get out of the car and in to the facility, and he just can't wait to go back in to the play area. (He doesn't even look back at me! Hahaha.) Backing up a bit, I really liked how the staff did an initial assessment of our dog before letting him attend group plays. They assess every new dog, and group them by personality, not size. This is really important, as dog behavior is based on attitude and personality, not size. So we can feel confident our dog is grouped only with dogs that will play in similar ways, and be safe. The facility is quite large, having three separate group play areas. Every group play area that allows outside access (weather permitting). And as the weather warms up, they even turn on the splash pads for dogs who like to play in the water. Wags also offers grooming, boarding, and training. We are planning to put our dog in to the training now that he is very comfortable being at Wags. And eventually, suspect we'll need to use the overnight boarding. The staff are all wonderful and love dogs. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog in their care.
