First of all, I brought both my dogs into blissful, and only one had an appointment but they still clip my dogs nails with no problem. Our beagle mix. was getting a full treatment, shampoo, blow dry and nail clipping. They also cleaned her ears and her bum and did a deshedding. She was only there for about two hours. When I took her to Critter Clippers, my abused, traumatized dog was put in a cage all day. I brought her in at 9 AM and kept calling to find out when she was.ready to pick up. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. I would never want anyone to go through the absolutely traumatizing experience I had. I really believe Tassa did something harmful to my dog. I have an Alaskan Malamute. I found an AMAZING groomer (Morgan Mobile Pet Grooming) but sadly, she had an allergic reaction. I was referred to Tassa. Conversation over the phone started off great, seemed nice. I warned her how horrible my dogs' fur is now in the process of trying to find a groomer (and moving across the country and having a baby all in one year). I called their office 2 days prior to my appt, explained that my appt is at 11am and I'm alone with my one-year old daughter that refuses to nap outside her crib. she usually naps until 2pm every day. I spoke to the lady with short pink hair and she assured me it would be ok to pick her up at 2. As soon as I met Tassa, it appeared as though she was having a bad day. She started dog shaming me about how bad my dogs' undercoat was. I agreed with her. RIGHT AWAY she told me I needed to shave her. I nicely reminded her of the phone call we had about no shaving. I could tell that she had ZERO desire to groom/care for my dog. 20-30 minutes later; Tassa calls me, yelling! She said my dog was super aggressive when she was trying to blow dry, she is a hazardous dog and she refuses to groom her. She insisted that I come pick her up right this moment. I reminded her that I could not come and pick my dog up until 2pm. Again, she screamed at me over the phone and told me she will not keep my dog until 2. Long story short, I hung up the phone. I showed up just before 2pm. When I arrived, Tassa had the cops waiting for me in the parking lot. She refused to give me my dog back until I paid a $90 'boarding fee'. I actually started to cry because I was in so much shock to be treated so poorly. I decided it wasn't worth the fight, so I gave her $100 cash and told her to keep the change. Paris came out without a single thing groomed on her, which was interesting that Tassa had told me she became 'aggressive' towards a blow dryer, when she wasn't even washed! My dog was shaking in fear, which has NEVER happened before; so she clearly was fearful of this dog groomer. With my baby strapped to my chest, I tried to lift my dog into the back of my SUV and she yelped really loud, as if I had hurt her hip. My daughter started screaming and blood was pouring all down her face. I ran back into the salon, asking one of the staff members for help. The other staff members were SO, SO kind and came right away with band aids and a towel. After everything calmed down, we realized there were two very small lacerations on my daughter's forehead. They stopped bleeding pretty quickly and weren't as bad as I initially thought. I was unsure of what had happened and thought I hit her head on the car door. we will never know for sure what happened but I can assure you this wasn't an aggressive dog bite. Its two tiny scratches. BUT nonetheless, the dog was super shaken up and fearful. So, if she did intend to bite my daughters face (as Tassa later claimed), this was most definitely because she was afraid of what ever happened to her from Tassa. she has NEVER been fearful or aggressive towards a groomer. I thanked the staff for their kindness and left. It wasn't 20 minutes after I left the salon that I had calls from an animal control officer and a police officer about my "vicious animal attack to my child's face". They closed the case right away. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. Tassa may be nice initially but she can turn into a terrible human within minutes. I truly believe she did something harmful to my dog. Tassa; I really pray that you learn to treat others with kindness. You choose every single day whether you're a light in someone's life or purely evil to them. I'm truly sorry for whatever happened to you that makes you believe you need to treat people so poorly, but I recommend you seek a therapist to address these deep-rooted issues before you lose your business because of your harmful attitude towards customers. read more

I absolutely love Blissful Pet Salon. My shih-tzu poodle is terrified of groomers (since we have had issues in the past) and all the staff here is so patient with Oreo. Everytime I pick him up he is so happy and obviously well groomed! I am so impressed with the work they do and will continue to go back. My favorite is around certain holidays they have given him bows or bandanas! That makes me very happy! Love these guys! read more

Extremely friendly and kind folks at this salon. Huge shout out to Tassa the business owner. She was able to fix a botched groom job our dog got at another salon. She's got a customer for life! Our dog loves her and the other groomer that was there. Definitely will use this salon going forward. As for the "multiple page document" referenced in a less than positive review please allow me to clarify, it is about payment types accepted, bounced check fees, repeated no show for appointments etc. it has a typical disclaimer about not being responsible for certain things occurring there just as you'll find in the small print of the rest of the grooming sites (trust me, I've been to a lot of them because there are some epically terrible grooming shops in the area.) The only difference I see is that Tassa doesn't hide her disclosure in fine print. It's about a 14 point font so that's why it's more than one page. As for her decision to not take dogs over 12 as new clients, I'm not sure why she has decided that but it's a privately owned business and dogs aren't part of a protected class under the EEOC. It's her decision to run her shop that way if she wants to and I imagine she has a reason for that. As to the friendliness of this shop, I couldn't be more thrilled. Our dog had a prior grooming bad experience and was nervous so Tassa sat on the floor with him. She spent considerable time getting to know him and talking kindly to him before attempting to clip him. She finished his clip in a little over an hour and when we came back to get him, he was relaxed and enjoying himself. Thanks Tassa! read more

This lady is awful. My friend was happy because her daughter won a gift certificate for 50% off grooming at the Wolf Down Lunch event. The owner had her dog there with really vibrant pink and blue ears and tail. My friend's special needs daughter wanted her white service dog to have vibrant pink ears and tail like the owner's dog. Although it was expensive, the gift certificate made it doable... The owner took the gift certificate when my friend brought the dog in, and when she brought the dog out, the faint pink and blue looked like a 3 week old faded dye job. My friend said she expected the vibrant colors she saw at Wolf Down Lunch. The lady carelessly said, "well, this is how we do it." Clearly she either does her personal dog differently, or she just did a good job for the event. Although the certificate was for "50% off grooming", the owner said it was only 50% off bath and brush. Okay, well, it was important to her special needs daughter. When she paid, they refused to honor the certificate for either the entire grooming job or for the bath and brush part. The owner asked if my friend for a tip. AND they kept the gift certificate. $180 later, this is what they got. A really scummy business. Not one word could best describe this salon. Impressed by the way Tassa had an affect on my Yoshi (corgi). Yoshi's nails was trimmed and paws buffed to perfection in a matter of minutes. Customer service and satisfaction is key to any business and that's what Blissful Pet Salon provided. Will most definitely bring Yoshi in again!! read more
