I purchased a retractable sunshade for my 2024 Tesla Model Y on February 6, 2026, and it has never worked properly. I reported that the item was not working just two days later. All of our correspondence has been conducted via email, and I have copies of all communications. I reached out to Kevin in customer service immediately after receiving the product, but his responses were delayed, initially citing the Chinese New Year as the reason the issue could not be addressed for several weeks. When I finally received a response, I was told he was waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. After that, communication stopped entirely. I followed up again, at which point Kevin asked if I would like a full refund. I confirmed that I would. However, instead of honoring that, he later offered only a 15% refund for a product that does not work. To rule out any other issues, I brought my vehicle to a Tesla service center, and they confirmed that the problem is with the sunshade itself--not the car. Tes Studio is a scam!!!!!! Don't waist your money because they don't stand by what they sell and wont make you whole if the item does not work. read more

I was looking for a Running Board for my Rivian R1S and the one that stood out to me was Hanshow which looked more rugged and modern. I was able to use one of their many coupon codes and had the item shipped to TES Studios which is coincidentally near the Rivian office in Tustin. When the item arrived, they texted me to let me know it came and helped schedule the installation which was very competitive. I heard people to countless hours doing it so why not pay a professional to install it? It took them less than 2 hours with 3 guys and it came out beautifully. Things to look out for: 1) it will slightly stick out about 1/4-1/2 and inch. Not a big deal really. I actually like it that way rather than having a look that is shorter. 2) The plastic piece below will need to be taken out. Again you can't really tell..if you want those reinstalled it will cost 2 hours more labor lol. Other than that I am satisfied and the customer service was 5 star!!! read more

Found this deal through YouTube watching a Dad who installed gadgets on his Tesla. I thought of Father's Day and since we were going to So Cal, I called and asked if there was an availability. There was a spot on a Friday afternoon. This place was in an industrial location and right next to a Tesla Super Charging location. Lucky for us as we were almost out of charge. Made our appt on time. The folks here are super nice and friendly. Great customer service. Loved the items they offered to do on your Tesla. Would have liked to add the mini dash display on the steering wheel on my Tesla but no time. They have a small waiting room with TV and small frig where they offered soda and water. We didn't get to fully charge our car and they offered to charge our battery car. Super nice of them and they didn't have to. We had the power frunk installed on our Tesla for a good deal and paid in cash so no tax to pay. I guess it's common practice around here for installation. I don't mind. They were quick. I believe it took about forty-five minutes. Great advice on the install in case it effected our warranty work in the future. We still did it. Love how it works as it beats manually closing it and damaging the front hood. Love love love it!! I think they are new one year so give them some love. Totally recommend this shop. Went to TES Studio to get the Electric Sunshade and Illuminated Door Sill protectors installed. I was lucky that they had both items in stock (1 left of each). They have a limited number of accessories in stock so check with them to see if they have what you want. Normally you would order your accessories from one of the Tesla Accessory websites (Hannshow, Tes Studio, TESPLUS, pay for shipping and wait until your parts come in. I spoke to Chris by text who was great. Be patient if he does not reply right away. He is busy in the shop. He will get back to you. He was informative on the items, cost and scheduling a day and time for the installation. They are located in Tustin in an industrial area, easy to get to off the 55 freeway. FYI, they are NOT affiliated with any of the Tesla Accessory websites (ie) Tes Studio, Hansshow etc as far as calling them for customer service regarding questions on products, your orders or issues. They are the authorized So Cal Tesla Installer for several of these accessory websites only. So don't call the 565-1007 number for customer service about your order, returns, issues. Call the website directly. My install took only 45 minutes. Chris and Brian worked on my Model Y and I could not believe the results. Chris showed me how the electric sunshade and the door sills worked and also gave me a back up kit for the door sills for the batteries and sensor. (See the photos below). Brian runs TESPLUS accessories. They are located next door to Tes Studio. They have a lot of items in stock where you can purchase direct and have Tes Studio install. No shipping cost and no waiting from purchasing from the websites. Hit up Brian. I was checking out the Yoke Steering wheels at his shop. There are only a few authorized installers in LA and OC for Tesla MODs and accessories. I contacted one in LA and another in OC. Tes Studio had the best price, best service, and most important, outstanding results. Their customers drive not only in CA, but come from out of state to have their accessories installed here. Customers also ship their new Teslas here for customization, then ship it to their home state. This is how good they are. We all love our Teslas. Chris is really are skilled and knowledgeable at what he does and he's really cool and takes the time to explain everything on the items you had installed. Next, I am having Chris install the F9 Front Dashboard Display, Yoke Steering Wheel (still deciding on this one) and updated lighting for my trunk, frunk and interior when my order comes in. Bought an electric sunshade. Way too long to deliver - several excuses. once received the item has several issues. Left VM's (plural) - no response. Sent Email's (plural) responded to the initial requesting photos - were part of the original email - but re-sent. No follow up at all. Product is not very good quality - gaps between sun shade and the roof allowing light to come thru. Does not reduce UV / heat in the car. same interior cabin heat with or without. All it simply does is block the sun and as stated above not very well due to poor quality of product. I would stay away from buying anything from this company. There are barely any a gaps, which is saying something for an aftermarket product in a Tesla. The team was very friendly and showed me one of their personal vehicles that already had one installed before my appointment began. I had the Hansshow H6 instrument cluster with front camera and also the electric retractable sunshade installed into my 2023 Model Y and the installation went very smoothly. Tes Studios is very experienced with Tesla accessory installations. Front camera is very useful since new 2023 Teslas do not have a front bumper camera or parking sensors. See attached camera views using the H6 instrument cluster - when parking. The electric overhead sunshade reduced heat significantly above my head. Both installed units look very OEM. my 2022 Model X needed a carbon fiber rear diffuser installed so I scheduled an appointment through Chris. both Chris and Brian worked on the install and kept me posted throughout the whole process (there were issues with fitment, but they both were able to adjust and do their best to make it work). These guys went FAR above and beyond. They installed a power frunk kit for my Y that I purchased from Hansshow OVER a year ago but didn't have time install. Not only did they install it, but they also upgraded it to the very latest version of h/w without extra charge. I also purchased a power sun shade and they installed and finally the Tes Fridge. They were super nice, great prices (product and installation) did quality work and were on-point with the their installs. -- The above on it's own was worthy of a good review. BUT nothing is easy -- A few days after the power frunk was installed, it stopped operating. Dead. They made time same day to check it out. It turns out I had rodents eating my wiring harness. Not only did the rodents eat the new harness, but they chewed on the OEM harness. These guys went way above and beyond to fix the problems while I waited, it was extensive work as they had to pretty much pull everything out and start over and even replaced more than needed to ensure all the chewed wires were replaced or cleanly repaired. I had expected a $$$ repair bill as this took hours and wasn't their fault. But again, they delivered quality work, friendly conversation and a super fair price. Seriously, these guys are great, get your products from them and have them install for you. You will be happy. read more

I found this place on the Hansshow website and I needed assistance installing my power trunk V7 on my Tesla Model 3. I tried going through Tesla but they don't offer that option for my model year-2018. The location was easy to find and the installation took about 1.5 hours. They recommended a cafe about 1/2 block from their shop. The installation was professionally done and their staff was friendly and polite. Took my 2023 Tesla Model Y in to get the auto present door handles and the Hansshow F68 carplay dashboard display with front camera installed. I cant say enough good things about this place. They did forget my floor mat, but they were offering to drive it to my house and drop it off, but luckily I was still in the area and picked it up myself. I made an appointment to get the power frunk installed. Got there a little bit early but Chris was able to get to work right away and was able finished the install in about a hour. He made sure everything works before I leave and gave me the OEM parts in case I ever need to revert back to stock. When I was there, they also had a special on the rear lip spoiler so I had that installed as well. However when I got home I noticed a spot where the adhesive wasn't sticking. Honestly I could've lived with it but Chris offered to reinstall it for me. But since I live a bit far i decided to try to reinstall myself. Chris sent me some replacement adhesive tape to make sure the right adhesive is used. Few YouTube videos later the spoiler is reinstalled and it now looks perfect. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the OC. Only wish it was a bit closer but maybe that's a good thing, else I would end up spending so much money here. read more
