I also prefer this Tesla Supercharger location when driving back home to the SFV. This Tesla Supercharger at Tanger never gets full. The several times we've stopped here to charge, all the stalls were working properly and we didn't get any notifications of a broken stall. Plenty of charging stalls available for usage. The charging stalls are fully covered under a roof so it's shaded. I've also noticed how the charging time at this location seems to be faster than other Tesla Supercharger stations.

The bags run between $7 and $18 which is on the pricier side but it's a destination stop, not a corner store. We grabbed licorice and the chocolate covered peanut brittle for the drive and I brought home watermelon bites and pineapple rings for the family. There is also a food court style area in the back and I got chicken tenders that they claim are never frozen. I believe it. The chicken tasted genuinely fresh and came with fries and a sweet biscuit that was a nice little surprise. Beyond the food, it is honestly just a fun place to browse. Toys, stuffed animals, t-shirts, magnets. Borderline a kids wonderland. We ended up spending more time inside than expected and did not mind one bit. Highly recommend as a road trip stop.

There is like a hill to go up on the road and the gas station was right there. We passed the show on Netflix and I was waiting for him. When I noticed that he took a little bit longer than expected, I looked up. I saw him walking from the gas station down, but I did notice that he was walking at a brisk pace. I didn't think much about it. I thought he was just eager to come back to the show. Once he got to the car, he told me what happened. As he was coming out of the convenience of the gas station there was a "harmless homeless" who turned her attention to him the moment he walked out. He said he was walking normally, and he just heard the wheels of the cart behind him. He looked back as she started screaming as if she was possessed at him. When he noticed it was too late to turn around which happened to be what I saw him walking at a brisk pace. He thought that the homeless was gonna let go of the car going down the hill and hit him like a pin at a bowling alley. He was not too far from reality. Once he got in the car, she let go of her shopping cart. In the picture that is her collecting her stuff after the cart crashed, thankfully not at anybody. While in the car he noticed the guy that was behind him at the gas station decided to just climb down the hill instead of walking in front of the homeless. Great charging station just be careful with the homeless be aware of your surroundings. On the bright side, I got a show.

Since we were going to walk around the village so we didn't mind the slower charging. This is the only EV charging station in the village so you might need to wait for a while. The first charger kept giving us an error no matter how many times we reconnected. We called technical support, switched to another charger, and ran into the exact same problem. It took us about 30 minutes just to get connected. To make things worse, it was extremely hot outside, so going back and forth between the charger and the car wasn't exactly fun. And I'd also love to see improved is some kind of shade over the charging stations. Standing in the extreme heat while trying to reconnect to a charger, troubleshoot errors, and wait on the phone with technical support was exhausting. A simple canopy would make a huge difference for customers, especially during the summer. Even after we finally got it working, the charger never delivered anywhere close to the advertised 350 kW. The highest speed we saw was around 120 kW, which made the charging session much longer than expected. Electrify America has become much more expensive lately, but unfortunately the service doesn't seem to match the higher prices anymore. Very disappointing experience.

So I was satisfied the cost was $20.00 better than gas at this point. I quickly learn to be a little more patient when driving an E-Vehicle.
