    Charging on Christmas Day

When I'm visiting my relatives I usually need to add a little charge to my car. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they opened more Superchargers in Fontana off of Summit near the CVS. These are just 4 miles from the chargers at Victoria Gardens so after visiting my grandma, I drove to the Fontana Superchargers. There are more stalls here than in RC and they weren't as busy so I was able to plug in as soon as I arrived. My only issue with these chargers was that after 15 minutes, the supercharger disconnected and stopped charging. I was in stall 9A, if I recall correctly. I reconnected and it would do the same thing. I was able to get about 25% additional battery charge from this particular stall before going on my way. I could have gone to a different stall but didn't want to move my car at the time. Also, how do people not know not to park right next to someone charging? The new car will have a lower kW draw because they are charging right next to someone who was there first. I'm only griping about it because there were plenty of open stalls around and they didn't have to park next to mine. I really liked how not busy this location was but now that the secret's out, that will probably change. A charged Tesla is a happy Tesla.

Low power charging is better for my Y's battery pack. Plus this place has a low price per kWh.

The landscaping and open-air layout made for a relaxing shopping experience, and everything looked well cared for. There was a nice variety of stores and restaurants, making it easy to spend a few hours here. Parking was convenient, and I appreciated how tidy the common areas and restrooms were. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that a few of the stores I was hoping to visit weren't here, and it got a bit crowded during peak hours. Overall, it's a great place to shop, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy a day outdoors. I'd definitely come back.

To the new owners of VG…read more.. I've always enjoyed coming to Victoria Gardens--it's a great place for families, shopping, and spending time outdoors. However, one concern that has become more noticeable over the past year is the lack of enforcement on the main streets. There are frequently vehicles speeding through busy areas where families and children are walking, and many drivers seem more focused on showing off how loud their cars are than driving safely. It's not uncommon to hear multiple cars revving their engines within just a few minutes. This creates a very unsafe environment and takes away from what should be a welcoming community space. Increasing police presence, even for short periods of time, would make a noticeable difference and help deter this behavior. I truly believe Victoria Gardens is a great place, but addressing this issue would go a long way in keeping it safe and enjoyable for everyone.
