    No complaints here really. I was all alone at 7:00 a.m. on a Thursday (6/15/2023). Easy in/out overall from I-80. Can be a bit of a challenge getting in/out around the 5:00 rush hour as I discovered on my return trip. We occasionally stay here at EL D but I prolly will never leave my car in this lot unattended. Too many shady characters milling about like they're cast members from the Walking Dead!

    Smaller 6 charging stations available, but they also have a regular charging station for other cars :) It's right near the Atlantis so for all you gamblers out there, it's perfect! There are other places to eat or shop nearby, but I can't see exactly what they are sitting in my car.

    Pulled in this AM and the chargers wouldn't show up on the TESLA ap. It's like a Potemkin village of Tesla chargers.

Pool is nice, needed a cleaning after the hella windy day blew debris in it nonstop. Life guards were attentive. Spa level had the kids arcade, bowling alley, shops and white rabbit theatre. So much to do. Housekeeping was very short staffed, our room wasn't able to be cleaned daily, needed to call for towels etc. Valet is busy as hell too. Takes 10-15 minutes to drop your car and 20-30 to get it back.

The room was okay--nothing special, but no major complaints. The Starbucks is always packed, which seems to be the norm here. Today, I visited the Second Street Marketplace downstairs. The young employee who assisted me had very poor customer service. He didn't acknowledge me, didn't offer a bag for the items I purchased, didn't say thank you, and seemed more interested in chatting with his coworkers than helping customers. Based on what I observed, I wasn't the only customer having issues with him. We also requested housekeeping service for our room. We were informed there would be a charge, which was fine with us. However, after the service, the room looked exactly the same. The bed was made, but that was about it. Now, let's talk about the restaurant downstairs. I ordered a steak, but they brought me chicken instead. I clearly told the waitress I wanted steak. When I pointed out the mistake, another older employee insisted that what I was served was steak. I'm pretty sure I know the difference between chicken and steak. Fortunately, Teddy stepped in, listened to my concern, apologized, and had my order corrected. That is what great customer service looks like. Even our waitress suggested that I just eat the chicken, but guests should never be told to accept something they didn't order. The casino and the room itself were good, and I enjoyed those aspects of my stay. However, many of the staff members could benefit from additional customer service training. To corporate, management, the CEO, owner, or whoever is responsible: please invest in better customer service training. Served with a tasty sauce with garlic. So good. Wife had the pork belly adobo. Holy beans was this good. I would go as far as to say--best pork belly I've ever had. The servings are massive. This is easily a dish for two. I was blown away at this tender and tasty dish. All large plates come with a big bowl of rice fyi. Wowzer. I ordered the Szechuan chicken, it had two hot peppers to indicate very hot. It wasn't. It was seasoned perfectly, don't be shy, try it. The bowl is huge, again, plenty for two. Bell peppers, onions, and tons of tender white meat chicken. This is one tasty dish. Again, also a big bowl of rice. Wow again. Overall, this place was AMAZING. I love being surprised like this, especially after the let down of the mile long buffet line. That let down did not last long and I wish I could adjust the one star reviews of this place. After nearly 10 months of planning, I expected the basics to be handled correctly. When we checked in, we were given a double room instead of the King room we reserved. I went back to the front desk and was told that because they were oversold for Thursday night, there was no way to move us into a King room at all during our stay. That explanation didn't make much sense--they confirmed they had King rooms available Tuesday and Wednesday, but because of the Thursday overbooking, they couldn't honor the reservation for any of the nights. So even though I booked months in advance and had already arrived, I was effectively bumped in favor of guests who hadn't even checked in yet. To make matters worse, only 2 out of 5 elevators were working the entire stay, which led to long waits (up to 20 minutes to get down in the morning) and added frustration. After the fact, I looked through other reviews and saw that this seems to be an ongoing issue, not a one-off situation. Between the reservation not being honored and the operational problems, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. Skip this place.

Time tax: Unless you are rolling with someone in a higher tier of the players club you are going to wait. Sad but true, Maybe I was at fault for arriving as late as I did around 7:20pm but I wasn't sat until closer to 8:30. The line was peculiar. So many people skipped ahead. There was only one person at the register. Occasionally the nice blonde manager lady would come over and ring a few parties up, the line went fast for a few seconds, but the chap at the register only worked fast when the manager came by. Otherwise he took his sweet time, he'd only rush if another VIP waiting to skip the line showed up. It was often, this buffet is popular and the skippers show up in force, especially late. Server Attention Tax: the servers on a normal day work hard, they close at 9:00, they warn you when 9 approaches and it's a wrap, on the seafood buffet days they are not motivated, because they stay late. They act like they aren't getting paid for the extra time. I sat down around 8:25 and no one took my drink order till like 8:40. I was worried I would get a single plate but to my surprise they didn't shut down shop right at 9:00 in fact they were still seating people. So that was cool. But the servers are in no rush. I don't want to get all Mr. Rogers about it, but if you get me my beverages sooner, I'll get out of your hair sooner, you are literally prolonging your own suffering here. The seafood Tax Rebate: the seafood is good, fresh fish, crab legs and all the regular sides. Crab is offered seasoned crab boil style or plain steamed, make sure to wander around. Overall: I love to eat good, I'm not crazy about flights, hotels or hardware stores because I don't think value necessarily is affected by where you go. (There are a few exceptions) I think service flavors cuisine, Here the service isn't adding a respectively great flavor. Sure if you spend a lot of money here you should get some priority but even Vegas doesn't forget about the little guy. I felt sorry for the people with kids in the line. Even though my server was slower than forest growth I still tipped them. But like value lost the taste was unpleasant. If you don't like being exposed to prejudice I assure you the 'regular line' WILL make you feel like you have no civil rights. But if you're able to suffer all that for a few rounds of delicious crab then you should go right on ahead, don't let me stop you

Tonight, Bryan demonstrated how great service becomes truly extraordinary. He was attentive, genuine, and made our evening feel special from beginning to end. The food, as always, was top-notch. The cocktails were fantastic, the mocktails were just as thoughtfully crafted, and the bread is always a highlight. One of my cousins, who was visiting from out of town, declared this the best meal of his trip and Bryan even made one of his dining dreams come true with exceptional hospitality. Thank you to Bryan and the entire Bistro Napa team for another incredible evening. Unfortunately for them and I, our main dining experiences are NOT 5 stars. Today we got the following: Complimentary Starter = Good. Shrimp ceviche. Complimentary Bread = Winner, we all loved the bread and had seconds! More bread than I usually eat when dining out. Sea Bass - 3-4 stars. My wife said she would have liked a little more lobster in her dish. Decent portions. Filet Mignon - Our guest barely ate half of her dish. She usually does NOT order steak?!?! She usually orders fish. But she said it was cooked well to her medium request. Pork Chop - Over cooked. Sub baked potato for $3.50 more. The baked potatoes were small, so they gave two. And baked potatoes were also over-baked. See pictures. Elk Chop - My buddy recommended that I try this. I was thinking between this or my usual ribeye or prime rib. The waiter also said to go for it. Sorry, I regret getting this. My dish was over cooked also. The waiter recommended rare, I asked for Medium rare but I think it came medium... Decent portions, but was not able to finish all my veggies. Lastly, my other buddy got the salmon which was also over cooked. And so small of a portion. Sorry, I got distracted and forgot to take a picture. Complimentary cotton candy for 6 to share?!?! Maybe give us two next time...? Ambiance - Nice restaurant in the Atlantis Casino Resort. I just noticed a private room surrounded with wine bottles. Next time I will see if we can request that room. Open kitchen. Plenty of casino parking. Service - The bus boy was good. The waiter was okay. Both today and yesterday, I feel that I receive a little attitude when I don't spend enough $$.
