Location 4 stars: In the Fairfax District area of Los Angeles, to the East of the original Farmer's Market. The Grove has a huge but very busy parking structure, so while you may have to journey to the upper levels, you will eventually find parking. Although some restaurants will validate part of the parking fees, be prepared to pay somewhere between $10 and $30 depending on how long you stay and which stores you visit. Their validation rules are fairly complex and not straightforward, so be sure to read all the fine print. They also have Valet parking on premises. Venue 4 stars: Nice modern open air set up with a Nordstrom, Zara and H&M and a bunch of smaller stores, an AMC movie theater, a Barnes and Noble, a Cheesecake Factory, and a variety of coffee shops and restaurants to fit most tastes and budgets. One catch being that the Grove parking lot cannot be validated by the Farmers Market stores and vice versa. Once you are on premises you can use the trolly to move from one end of the venue to the other. Also keep in mind that the Original Farmers Market is literally next door and attached to the Grove, which dramatically increases your food options.

We walked in and the museum staff was right there at the front answering questions and directing you on where to go. I love that admission is free! We had booked our tickets in advance though, to be safe. We had a 12pm slot for the Infinity mirror room and had a little time before it started so we went up to the main level to check out some art really quick. We went back down to stand in line and it moved fairly quickly. You only get 60 seconds in the Infinity mirror room, and there signs and staff letting you know so you can prepare yourself while in line. This exhibit was really cool, I wish we could have gotten more time in there but I'm glad they limit it so everyone can see it. You could spend a while in there, it's so beautiful. The rest of the museum was absolutely incredible. I'd never seen Basquiat in real life. I fell in love with his art. The other artists here were incredible too. I genuinely enjoyed exploring this exhibit and taking in all the art and sights. It was such a fun museum! Unique art, fun installations. I cannot wait to go back soon!

This museum is rather small despite its large exterior, so I'd recommend combining a visit here with The Museum of Contemporary Art across the street if you have time. Currently, there's an opportunity to engage in a wholesome activity outside because of Yoko Ono's "Wish Trees for Los Angeles" installation. You can't miss it because many people have tied their personal wishes on little white paper tags to the branches of the century-old olive trees outside The Broad. Most wishes were written in English, but I also saw some in Spanish, Korean, and Chinese. I'd highly recommend taking the time to read people's wishes and write one of your own. It helped me take time to focus on a few out of many things to feel grateful and hopeful for.

One time it was 5 cars long. The fact that the chargers are in an active bank parking lot makes things very hectic during bank hours; it is difficult to know who is waiting and who is not. There is no "take a number" system; just an informal wait of cars otherwise blocking access to regular parking spots in the lot. Finally, neither the bank nor EA seems to spend any time or money on keeping the charging areas clean. When I was there they were littered with soda cups, coffee cups, cigarette butts, etc.

When I tried to talk to valet, and later the front desk for parking, they had no solution. Their best answer was to wait an hour and a half for a tow truck. When I explained my wife was pregnant and we really needed a better solution (e.g. a gurney that many downtown parking lots use for this situation) they told me they didn't have that option. I tried to talk to the manager who hid from my calls for 30 minutes and when I finally did get in touch he said it was my fault since "I parked too far forward to allow somebody to park behind me."
