Picked up my brand new Tesla off the lot at 5pm and it was in the shop by 8am the next morning. Had it for 15 hours. Turns out they didn't even test the charger because it's defective. I was sitting in a Raley's parking lot at 11pm feeling like an idiot because I thought I was doing something wrong. Plugging in, unplugging, switching cables, the whole thing. Almost an hour of thinking I was the problem. I waited three weeks for this car. You would think if you made this big of a purchase they would at least clean the tires of caked on dirt. Such a disappointment. I got better service at toyota. Dublin Tesla service has been great and got me into a loaner Model X. A pre-delivery inspection exists for a reason and nobody did one on my car. If you are picking up here, plug the car in before you sign. Walk the car a couple times. Do not assume anyone did the inspection for you. Off to a really bad start. Tesla getting a bunch of Lemon reviews. Yikes. read more

Had a minor issue come up with my 2025 Model 3 and took it here for service. I had no idea what to expect, but just like buying the car through the app was so easy and enjoyable, getting it fixed was awesome. Made my appointment in the app. Either a human or AI (unknown) automatically diagnosed the issue through the cloud, ordered the part, and had it ready. When I showed up here at the service center I followed the signs and errors and was promptly checked in by Joe - super nice dude, who was able to verify my concern. They told me it could take up to 7 hours but it was done just 2 hours later. They were able to fix it on the first try. So much better of an experience than a traditional car dealership. I don't think I will ever not have a Tesla. This is my first Tesla but I've had four other EVs. And no other brand has the self-driving tech and great customer experience that Tesla has. If I have to come up with a gripe, it's that I did a demo drive of a Cybertruck while we waited for the service to be completed, and they do not seem to care for the demo vehicles at all. It had an error on the screen for low washer fluid, the bed was full of junk, and it was super dirty on the outside. That said, it's an amazing vehicle, and when my Model 3 lease is up, if I can budget for it, I'll definitely get one. read more

We were looking at a few options for my wife's new car and were stuck between a Mazda CX-5 and even a Honda Accord. Thankfully, we decided to walk into Tesla Vallejo just to take a look. After looking around, we asked for a test drive to see what it felt like--and Rafael went above and beyond. He explained everything, from FSD (Full Self-Driving) to all the features in between--even Dog Mode! We didn't experience any of the haggling or endless questions like at Mazda and Honda dealerships. Update Came back to the Vallejo SC for a rattle the Berkeley SC could not solved or figured out but with one visit and literally 5 minutes of driving with " Joe" the master mechanic, the mystery was solved ! Joe immediately knew what was causing the noise when I described the noise and once again Tesla Vallejo comes through! You can't make this stuff up! Brought in my six month old Model 3 for a warranty repair. Staff tried to blame the issue on me before figuring out it was a faulty radiator. Promised a loaner "tomorrow", still no loaner, still no parts, still no car. This is a business vehicle and my company has been dead in the water all week. This review is for the Concord Lexus & Vallejo Tesla Service Teams, especially Rob McClure and Daniel Woolley of Tesla. Having a used car with a minor issue can cause anxiety, but between my service advisor Rob and my sales guy Ray, the Lexus service team drove to Tesla Vallejo to buy a new low voltage battery, so I wasn't inconvenienced of time without my car. After the install, the warning light was still on and that's when I scheduled a mobile appt with Tesla. Rob made sure he was in the loop the whole time, making sure I received the same great service as if I had a Lexus. Because everything goes through the app at Tesla, I scheduled an appt for first available. The app gave me two weeks, but then yesterday Monday 6/16 an earlier appt became available for 6/17, one week earlier. Daniel coming to fix my car took 5 minutes. 3 minutes of which was spent talking about my son. He made sure I knew exactly what he was doing an explainsd the process. The level of service was more than appreciated because Daniel respected my time. As I was getting ready to text Rob, he texted me asking if I needed help with anything. His determination to get me back on the road and making sure my son's car(7yo) was working well. I came in to the service department yesterday evening around 5:15pm. I was told most of the service techs had gone home for the night, but the gentleman at the desk checked to see if anyone could help me. I heard a loud clacking sound in the front end of my Y while driving yesterday and wanted to find out if it could wait for my appointment in two weeks. Alvin, from service, came out to look at my car. He immediately discovered the issue and promptly fixed it in 10 minutes. He explained exactly what he saw, what to look out for at my later scheduled appointment and rectified the safety issue. He was so professional and kind. I'm extremely grateful he stayed to help me. Tesla has a wonderful employee in Alvin and I will be back to see him if I need service in the future. read more

Scheduled appointment to test drive a Cybertruck at Tesla, Vallejo. Received an email from Tesla that stated, "Your Cybertruck Demo Drive has been confirmed for October 25, 2025 2:30 PM at Vallejo." On the actual reservation, I was asked to "Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early." I did. I travelled 16 miles (20 minutes) and arrived at 2:10 PM. At 2:30, the salesman came up to me and advised me that her did not have a Cybertruck available. He was unapologetic and let me think that a reservation means nothing to him. They insist that we schedule a specific time and be there early. I did that. Instead of making any attempt to accommodate, they had a "tough luck" attitude. How rude. read more

Review is strictly for the experience from the service center for car repairs. (I did not purchase/have my car delivered at the Vallejo location for pick up.) Personally all of my visits have been excellent customer service! They have gone out of their way to help me. Important note: The parts/service side of Tesla closes at 5pm instead of 7pm. I've been to the Vallejo Tesla service center about 3-4 times in the past year. Twice was for repairs that they could not resolve through a mobile appt. The first was issued with the cameras/screen glitching out. They did their diagnostics and it came back fine. It seemed to work again after that. The process is very easy. You drive up and it's like a valet. They offer Uber credits but my car was ready within a day or two. They even vacuumed out all the dog fur in my car! What service! The second time my car was making a terrible loud sound whenever the AC was on. The cause of this was something about the compressor. They fixed it within hours and I wasn't even charged! I think at this point my bumper to bumper warranty already expired due to mileage. So this was a very pleasant surprise! Third time I came to the service center to see if I could purchase a new charging cable. They were friendly but at that time did not have any extra in stock at the store. It was this time when I noticed parking can be a pain... Fourth time I came to see if I could purchase the little plastic bit on the side of the passenger seat for adjusting the seat because I didn't want to pay $150 for labor to push on a plastic bit. I was able to buy the part for $12. The person helping even helped cancel the appointment for that issues. It can be a very seamless experience since the credit card info is already linked to the Tesla account/phone number. Unfortunately when my partner went in search of another small part on my behalf he didn't experience the great service I had. The person he spoke to was very confused and wasn't even sure if they sell replacement parts. He spoke to someone at the sales desk who confirmed they do sell replacement parts but said he would need to go to the service desk (where the unhelpful worker was). My experience was the best. No hassle no pressure. I was in my brand new Model 3 in 8 days. The delivery was much faster than I anticipated. The sale person Hessie was very knowledgeable and professional. She was so patient with me. I had not planned to go to Vallejo because someone had suggested that I go to Tesla dealership in Dublin because they were so nice and helpful. Well I can't say rather they were right or wrong but I'm so happy I didn't spend an hour traveling from Vacaville to Dublin when I got the same experience if not better at Vallejo Tesla!! The salesperson walked me through the purchase process. I knew how I wanted my Tesla built so we got straight to business. Maybe two hours tops and I was on my way home waiting for my delivery date. Eight days later I picked up my Model 3. The service guy pulled my car to the front door did the inspection, set up my phone app helped me with the car features. Also another Tesla team member took me for a full service driving demo ride. I have the feature for trial period...but I think I'm going to pass on this. Waiting for awhile, some issues at delivery. The associate was clueless as I asked further detail questions. We spoke with the manager regarding another issue and he seemed promising to help us. Had a really great demo and ordering experience with the sales agent, Omar. We brought our children to the demo drive and Omar was nice enough to lend us a booster seat for our 4 year old and even latched it in the demo vehicle. After the demo, he was super helpful, answering all our questions about ordering and securing finance. He helped us search for a vehicle that was available to take delivery right away with the specifications we wanted at another dealership. Omar also told us about the current programs for referral and military incentives and made sure we were able to take advantage of them, by sending us the appropriate links to stack the incentives. He was easy to get a hold of and responded to messages quickly. Once we had the order completed and scheduled for delivery, I visited the service department to purchase a mobile connector. I never caught the name of the service agent, but I mentioned to him that I was a veteran. He took the time and did everything he could to make sure a military discount was applied on the purchase of the mobile connector. We enjoyed our vehicle purchase experience with Tesla in Vallejo. Last Saturday, I brought my model 3 Highland to the center here for service regarding the noise problem from the rear suspension , the technician experienced it with me and he said he would do everything best for me but would not guarantee that it would be completely gone. I was given another used model 3 (although the quality was not as good as new) but in return the service was very quick and did not cause any inconvenience or difficulty. I am very satisfied here and will continue to come to this center in the future even though it is quite far from my house (about 30 miles). read more

This review is not about the Vallejo Center, but Tesla customer service as a company. First, I am a Tesla fan and investor, I'm in their court. HOWEVER, my experience as one of the WORST in a VERY LONG time. I have concluded that Tesla does not want to speak with anyone, people cost money, but rely solely on technology, systems and AI to direct their prospective clients to THEIR sales goal. No thought has been given to what happens to their client if any of these systems fail, and all systems fail at some point. They are now a $TRILLION company who fails to come within smelling distance of the service I receive from my credit union (small & local), cell service (low-cost aggregator) and my propane company. PROPANE COMPANY!! At the writing of this review, I have written an email to the VP of N. American Sales, a letter to Elon c/o the Corporate Secretary and two phone calls to the Centers I dealt with in the hopes others will not have the experience I have had. I hope it helps...we'll see. THE SHORT STORY IS THIS: Avoid Vallejo Tesla Service Center if you have other options. I took our 2020 Model S to the Tesla Service Center in Vallejo because the driver's seat got stuck in the rear position making it unsafe for my wife to drive. The car was scheduled to be returned within hours but that didn't happen... It was subsequently promised for pick-up on three different dates over the next three plus weeks but with no communications initiated by the service center, this repair became super frustrating. We finally got our car back with a new driver's seat. When you buy a Tesla, they make it sound like service and repairs are so easy with mobile repair vans and service centers. That may be true in some locations, but the Vallejo Service Center proved to be inefficient, unprofessional and a hug disappointment. Makes me think... Tesla is a nice car but, what's the point of owning one if you can't get them repaired? THE LONG STORY IS THIS: In December 2021, our Model S started having an intermittent problem with the driver's seat sticking and it progressively got worse. Ultimately, the car became unsafe for my wife to drive because she would go somewhere and the seat would get stuck all the way back (easy access setting) and she couldn't reach the peddles. After waiting two weeks for an appointment, we took the car to the Vallejo Service Center on January 28, 2022. Once there, I showed a technician how the seat would malfunction and it in fact got stuck in the forward position but then began working again. Oddly, the technician was dismissive of my concern because the seat started working. I had to stress that the problem was intermittent. I also explained that the same problem occurred when using my key fob and that the seat would not go to my specific settings. My confidence in the technician's competence was further reduced when he adamantly told me the key fobs were not capable of being programmed to a specific driver... which they are. Ultimately, I was told to leave the car and pick it up later that afternoon. Sadly, as of February 12th... they still had our car, and it was not repaired. The service center never initiated any communication... zero... as to the status of the car. So, for the third time as of the 12th, I made myself available to pick up the car on a promised date... in another town 45 minutes away, only to be messaged back that the car wasn't repaired and now estimated to be ready on February 18th. On February 16th, I sent a text message to verify the car would be ready on the 18th. The following day I received a voicemail saying the car was not repaired and there was no ETA on receiving a new seat. I then sent a text requesting to pick up my car until they had a new seat in their possession. Initially, I received a voicemail that said I could pick up my car at any time, however; minutes later I received another call saying that was not possible. They had removed the seat from the car and broke it, therefore there was no seat in the vehicle. On Saturday the 19th, I showed up at the dealership unannounced to check on my vehicle. I literally found no one working at the service check area and on one in the showroom. Ultimately, I located my vehicle is the service lot and saw that the driver's seat was in fact missing. While at my vehicle, I met a young man working in the lot who said there was no one working that I could talk to about the status of my vehicle. I took a couple photos (attached) of the interior of the car which included a dirty footprint where someone used their foot to open the door. Not exactly what I would call quality care. I then sent a text to the service center expressing my displeasure and frustration... and my intent to share this experience on public media. I received no reply specific to my message, however; I received a text message late Monday afternoon... miraculously - The repairs were complete, and my car was ready for pick up. I picked up the car the next morning. Overall, I'm happy to have our car back and the seat appears to be operating fine. Having lost 100+ miles of charge while at the service center, they were kind enough to charge the battery, but surprisingly, at my expense... since a charge posted to the credit card account I have on file for super charging. Vallejo Tesla Service Center... I would not recommend them for service if you have other options. At no point during the three plus weeks that my car was there did they initiate any contact or provide any updates absent my inquiries. Given their miraculous ability to suddenly have a seat on Monday and get it installed, I would've thought they would have called to provide that positive information... But that did not happen. Got the run around about why my brand new model 3 didn't include floor mats. The Tesla website even says it should be delivered with new model 3s. The test drive at Vallejo Tesla is great however if you are accepting delivery of a Tesla I would recommend the Corte Madera location. Much better delivery experience. One odd thing that happen here is that the person delivering my Tesla grabbed my cell phone and pushed the blue accept delivery button. Kind of a strange action if you ask me. Wish I recorded it so I could prove I never actually accepted delivery of my model 3 without floor mats. My recommendation is test drive here and order your Tesla from Corte Madera. read more

Horrible and shady service center! Service advisor Alejandro Dos Santos. I had a flat tire Dec 2022 and they charged me for a new tire. I double checked my Tesla invoice in the app. Fast forward to a year and a half later I have another flat on the same exact tire. Come to find out after putting in air and inspection, they only patched it and it started leaking air out of where they had patched it last time!!! I was wrongly charged!!! In honor of Earth Day, I thought I'd write a review about this Tesla (all electric) service center. We took delivery of two Teslas here. Both were hands free and we didn't see a single person. Kinda cool but it was a bit weird the first time we took delivery. This review is more about our service center experience. After delivery of Tesla #2, I noted some paint chips when I got it. Scheduling for repair was easy. I took the car in and they gave me a Tesla loaner. The car was finished in a reasonable amount of time and I picked it up. The chip repair looked good for about a week. After a week, the chips were visible again. Almost like whatever they used to repair the chips, washed off. I contacted the representative who had emailed me that the car was ready and I never heard back...so still driving around with those chips. On the plus, love the Tesla and the fact it is helping save the planet is bonus points. read more
