This is one of those places where the barber makes the place! And Ahmed is an amazing barber always punctual when you have an appointment and he is extremely skilled. I've been having him cut my hair for over 5 years now I even followed him from his old location in Anaheim to his new spot in Irvine. That's how good he is... he gets extremely busy on Thursday's and fridays so make sure to call Ahmed and schedule an appointment that's my only suggestion otherwise enjoy.. back here for the 5th time! I recently moved to Orange County and was really worried about finding someone who could cut my super thick, straight hair. After reading the reviews for Tesoro, I went in and got my first cut with Ahmed (the owner), who is a very friendly and welcoming guy. He listened closely to what I wanted with the cut, and the end result exceeded my expectations. Ahmed has great attention to detail and takes his time, yet he is very efficient. The salon itself is top quality, feels brand new, and is well designed. The only problem that I had was that it was difficult to communicate over the phone to make an appointment. When I called back to confirm my time, he pushed it back fifteen minutes, which I was fine with, but when I showed up, he was just starting someone else's cut so I had to wait a while. If the customer service improved a bit, I would absolutely give 5 stars. He could possibly call or text before the cut to confirm the time; that would help. My first cut turned out great and I look forward to coming back. read more
