This Native American casino is run by the Pueblo of Tesuque. It is a gorgeous newer building, non-smoking!! And has such stunning views. They have RV parking in the upper lot. No hook ups and you must check in first at Security to get a paper that you put in your window to show that you've been checked in. The Security office is right inside the front doors and to the right. To do have to show ID. Upon our arrival, we pulled up in front of the main building and went into Security. We got our paper and went up to the top level parking to find a space. There are no marked RV spaces, just regular car spaces, but you're able to park across multiple car spaces. I think there were two other RVs in the parking lot when we were there. But it's a large lot and very little traffic. Just be sure you're parked out of the way of any other vehicle traffic. There are no hook ups, but we didn't need any. It was early September when we were heading back to Washington State, so the weather was nice. Our stopping in Santa Fe was to visit my in-laws resting place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, as my father-in-law was a World War II Veteran. We did end up having one meal at their Cottonwood restaurant, and it was delicious unfortunately, we could not eat on the outdoor patio as there were thunderstorms in the area. The view is really nice and the restaurant is quite large. This is a good place for groups and celebrations. We enjoyed our lunch greatly. I believe the hours were from 11 to 2. They do also have a pick up and go area right outside the restaurant that's open until 8 PM. For lunch I had the French dip sandwich and fries, which was totally delicious. The day we were there, the Chef had a special of three tacos and different sauces, which my husband ordered. He was quite pleased with his meal as well. All we needed was a place to spend one night, and we found this fabulous non-smoking casino.They allow you to stay up to three nights here. We will definitely be happy to return on our next trip through Santa Fe. read more

This review is for the Cottonwood Restaurant inside the casino. We stopped here to eat lunch because we were driving by and it looked like a really nice building. It was pretty nice both inside and out! We sat down near the window and had very nice views of the mountains. I ordered a cobb salad, which was great!! Beautiful bacon crumbles, blue cheese, avocado, turkey slices, tomatoes, and romaine. It was as it should be. Terrific and fresh! Hubs ordered a prime rib quesadilla. It was the best quesadilla he has ever had. Really. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, looked new, and maybe most importantly, was away from casino noise. There is also an outdoor patio (with views) which would allow you to completely escape casino noise. Our service was friendly and efficient. And the prices were the lowest I've seen in a long time. It is very small. When I walked in I opened the door for security. They then didn't say thank you, rather made a big deal of me having a clip knife. I returned it to the car then met up with my family. Was excited to have a meal and sit as my father in law gambled. Well the restaurant was closed for another 20 mins. They would not let us sit inside and wait. So we got things from the snack bar. The same security guard kept watching me. I was posing no threat and just eating with my family. We went for the Friday night seafood (Crab legs) and it did not disappoint. First off, the Casino was very clean and did not smell of smoke (Maybe we got lucky). Gambler Curious, I enjoy leaving casinos with as much money I arrived with. Tesuque's bar opens late in the afternoon, making it especially easy to meet this goal. Very clean men's washroom sign greeted me, "No Group Gatherings!"...huh? I did not hang out long enough to discover what this means. Excellent little gem of a casino, this place is so picturesque and better than the other casinos in the SF area. The chef was nice and his restaurant had great food, especially at happy hour prices. The games were modern and there are progressives. In the afternoons, they have hot seat giveaways of various prizes. It's clean airy open and well-ventilated. The landscaping is preened with a tweezer and looks beautiful. The food, drinks, views, kind staff make this a worthwhile drive and pass time. read more

ATMOSPHERE & CLEANLINESS REVIEW: I've never reviewed a casino however this one had all the aesthetics and is very attractive. The grounds are kept well and there is plenty of parking. I visited during the week, so parking wasn't an issue. The inside of the casino is very clean and surprisingly not loud. It also is very spacious from the perspective that the slot machines are adequately spaced out. I didn't get the feeling of congestion at all as I walked through the casino floor. The men's restroom was very clean and had plenty of paper hand towels. The patio has breathtaking views of the hillside. It is very beautiful and picturesque. There is plenty of seating and lounging space on the patio. Overall a very low-key casino and a much more subdued level of liveliness compared to other larger casino brands that we're familiar with. Saturday this place a ghost town you can't get any machine you want. The bus boy opens the main entrance and greets you which is the first and staff who has customer service. The staff inside don't have customer service they shy away after trying to find the courtesy beverages. The casino is beautiful with the view of the mountains and restrooms are clean. They keep messing up my free play and are not loading it. When I asked about it they say they go through a 3rd party now and there's nothing they can do about it. I've sent 3 emails inquiring about it. Of course I've gotten no response. We used to love coming here and would drop about a thousand each time. But they've gone WAY downhill. As far as casinos go, this place is new and modern. The staff was nice, friendly and organized. We went to try out the Friday night seafood buffet. It is held in the ballroom. You have to share round tables with others and they put paper on the tables. If new people come to the table there is really no way to clean it. Sort of weird. The food was average, but if you came for crab and oysters you get to eat A LOT for $25 a person. The casino of course, is a smoking allowed. So, it is horrible in my opinion. Stopped by to check it out and have lunch. It is a brand new facility but the whole place already smells like stale cigarette smoke. Went to the restaurant and a nice young gentleman took me to my table. I waited. And waited. And waited, but no server ever showed up. After 10 minutes, I got up and high-tailed it out of there. The 2pm bingo opened with 2 sellers at 205 pm and lied to me about needing to buy extras that did not come in the bundle. My husband saw them and spoke to a manager and he was right. I got lied 2. So the games started at 3pm and at intermission 30 minutes as they stated I left and luckily came back in 10 minutes later. My husband was playing both our papers and machines because to get caught up and after announcing intermission they canceled it and went on to play with several of us outside the bingo hall using restroom excites. Came here with my husband from Santa Fe. Could not have had a worse experience. Casino was full of zombies. The food at the Cottonwood Kitchen was very low quality and overpriced. When our server ignored us we tried to flag down the manager Lino? He was too busy grabbing and groping at least two other servers. Finally came over and was extremely rude and unpleasant. What a beautiful building and sporting a world class view. Nice. My friends wanted to stop and play. They have all the current games which my friends loved. And they won a little money. Customer service for us was outstanding and very helpful. We didn't smell smoke as other reviewers. We all had a good time and it was a nice stop in our day. I really have to disagree with the 2 previous reviewers. The Casino is beautiful modern and roomy to move around in. We had dinner last night at the Cottonwood Kitchen Restaurant which indeed is fine dining. They have a daily special for Casino Players Club members offering a 12 oz Prime Rib for $7.77 it was perfectly paired with fresh French green beans and deliciously prepared smashed potatoes. Numerous other fine dining choices as well. Great Bartender Shannon, serving generous delicious specialty drinks and 10 fresh brew taps. Drove to the casino and was excited to have the all you can eat crab legs, which are advertised on MULTIPLE bill boards all around the area, only to find out that they, "got rid of that." It's really awesome that they continue to advertise for something they no longer have. It's also pretty cool that the worker whom I spoke with agreed with me, "yeah, they really should take those down," when I asked about the billboards. The place looked great from the outside. The customer service was horrible- from the hostess not knowing basic info to the rude bartender to the rude waitress in the "lounge" area.. For some reason i got the impression that it is illegal for people to smile and be nice.. my family and I had the steak meal and it was great.. it almost made up for horrible personalities at this place. I don't think I will bring any more family or friends to this place ever again.. I didn't stick around for any gambling because I just wanted to leave and not deal with the grumpy staff.. Their blackjack tables are still closed because of "coronavirus" even thought it's April 2021. I had to settle for their blackjack machine, which only paid 2:1 blackjack. All of the other slot machines were also terrible. read more

Beautiful, modern facility. Restaurant/Bar very nice with a great live band Sunday afternoon, Crawfish Boyz. Friendly staff, nice bartender and a wonderful Seaford Cobb Salad. A little over-priced and it needs to be served with a baguette or rolls. SMOKERS should have their own area. Really bad. Go early when less crowded and leave by 2. Worst service I've ever experience in a casino, its like pulling teeth to get these people to do their job. For a brand new place, there seemed to be a LOT of non-functioning machines. The ones that work don't pay very well (in my case, at all). There aren't any fine dining options. The carpet looks like they pulled it up out of another casino, like after they tore it down. The floor vents make the floor uneven and will earn slip/fall cases by the boatload. If I had been drinking, I probably would have been one. All in all, color me disappointed. From the outside it looks very new and high-end..it is only a thin veneer. Inside is a huge let down. I'm not a fan of gambling or the people that frequent this kind of place.. if you have a burning desire to throw all the money in your wallet out the window come on down; they are happy to take it from you. The little restaurant in here was not bad but it wasn't great either; The seafood salad was OK but let's face it cheap blue cheese with various seafood is absolutely foul. Blue cheese and seafood is just not a good combination; there is plenty of other cheeses that pair better with seafood. Also the champagne vinaigrette that came with it was far too sweet; tasted like half maple syrup... The monster shrimp on top were very good though.
