We went for the Friday night seafood (Crab legs) and it did not disappoint. First off, the Casino was very clean and did not smell of smoke (Maybe we got lucky). The wait staff were so friendly and professional and the food was amazing. The best part was the views surrounding the Casino. It was so picturesque and the sunset was simply gorgeous. If anybody has a bad review for this establishment, they're crazy. Enjoy the pics!

Gambler Curious, I enjoy leaving casinos with as much money I arrived with. Tesuque's bar opens late in the afternoon, making it especially easy to meet this goal. Very clean men's washroom sign greeted me, "No Group Gatherings!"...huh? I did not hang out long enough to discover what this means. In the remarkably unlikely event Sobriety causes me to hand money to one armed bandit, there are some great views here.

Excellent little gem of a casino, this place is so picturesque and better than the other casinos in the SF area. The chef was nice and his restaurant had great food, especially at happy hour prices. The games were modern and there are progressives. In the afternoons, they have hot seat giveaways of various prizes. It's clean airy open and well-ventilated. The landscaping is preened with a tweezer and looks beautiful. The food, drinks, views, kind staff make this a worthwhile drive and pass time.

ATMOSPHERE & CLEANLINESS REVIEW: I've never reviewed a casino however this one had all the aesthetics and is very attractive. The grounds are kept well and there is plenty of parking. I visited during the week, so parking wasn't an issue. The inside of the casino is very clean and surprisingly not loud. It also is very spacious from the perspective that the slot machines are adequately spaced out. I didn't get the feeling of congestion at all as I walked through the casino floor. The men's restroom was very clean and had plenty of paper hand towels. The patio has breathtaking views of the hillside. It is very beautiful and picturesque. There is plenty of seating and lounging space on the patio. Overall a very low-key casino and a much more subdued level of liveliness compared to other larger casino brands that we're familiar with. I will visit again if I am ever in the Santa Fe area.

Our room was wonderful and view was nice. Had been provided a digital key, so never had to go to the front desk for any reason. Since we were arriving early our room was ready and we didn't have to pay for early check in which was wonderful. Room was spacious and nicely furnished. Balcony faced the the backside of the building, so we had a view of the pool and a balcony attraction of a gorgeous sunset plus the dusk deco surrounding the building with warm lights that all combined looked absolutely stunning as the sun went down. Did not utilize the casino, did have dinner at one of thier restaurants. Turquoise Bar & Grill ( see my review). There's a coffee/cafe near the lobby area Also, a big gift shop with lots of local native art, and other appealing merchandise that fitting for that area. Stayed only one night and enjoyed it. We were provided complementary bottled water in our room- along with coffee offerings, small fridge & ice bucket. Free parking here for hotel guest too! We really enjoyed our stay! We were pleasantly surprised not only by the hotel itself, but also by the beautiful surroundings, pool area, and spa. From the moment you enter the property, you immediately notice the beautiful Southwestern architecture and design that reflect the traditions and character of Santa Fe and New Mexico. The inside of the hotel is just as impressive--clean, welcoming, and filled with artwork. I definitely recommend taking some time to walk around the hotel and enjoy the art before you leave. The pictures I saw of the pool beforehand do not do it justice! The outdoor pool area is spacious and beautiful, with eight cabanas, a large swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, and even a splash zone where you can walk through fountains and enjoy the water. There is also a snack bar and full bar right by the pool. Inside the hotel, there is another indoor pool and Jacuzzi, which was a wonderful surprise. Guests also have access to restrooms as well as separate men's and women's locker rooms. Overall, it is a large, comfortable, and inviting space that makes it very easy to spend the entire day relaxing. A quick tip for the pool bar: bring your ID! They do check IDs, regardless of age. The bartenders make great drinks, and the food was good too. We especially enjoyed the hummus and bread, and of course, an ice cream bar was the perfect poolside treat! If you visit on Saturday or Sunday, they also grill hamburgers and chicken outside. Definitely try the grilled chicken breast--it was delicious! The entire pool area and facilities were neat and clean. Attendants regularly walked around the pool area, and everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and helpful. It was nice to see staff consistently checking on the area and making sure guests had what they needed. Check-in was also extremely easy. It took less than five minutes, and the staff member who assisted us was friendly and welcoming. Overall, this was such an enjoyable experience and a wonderful way to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We had a few things we were looking for, includg a pool, hot tub, on-site full-service restaurant, room service, bar and spa (resort type amenities). While researching several hotels in and around Santa Fe, we found Hotel Santa Fe, and it seemed like a perfect fit, with a good location. We book a 3-night stay, and a few days later was contacted about "upgrading" our room. Since this was a special weekend, I thought, "why not', and paid for the room upgrade. Imagine our surprise while checking in that due to a fire 6 weeks ago+ (not mentioned on their web page) that the hot tub was not open, the pool was un-heated (no gas due to the fire), the restaurant, bar and lobby were closed due to the fire, and there was no room service. I think my wife and I were so stunned, and caught off guard, that we went ahead and checked in. If we would have known about the lack of amenities in advance, we would have cancelled and booked elsewhere. This news should have been mentioned on the web page or conveyed to us earlier upon booking. I find it disingenuous that they could certainly reach out for a room upgrade, but not mention anything about all the advertised amenities not being available. Upon arriving to our room, we unpacked and went out to find a spot for dinner since we had planned eating on-site. Upon returning to the room, we noticed a musty smell we had not noticed earlier. Knowing it had been raining we did not think much about it, but my wife noticed a large wet area on the carpet by the couch (and assumed it was due to housekeeping). Around 10:15 we were startled to see 2 large areas on the ceiling rapidly dripping water over the couch. Enough that we had to place trash cans under both areas because of the quantity of water. We were both so tired after traveling all day, that I told my wife I would handle in the morning. Reporting this to the front desk, I was asked what I wanted to do......how about a different room that's not leaking? While we did receive an apology, and a new room, I expected to be reached out to by management or possibly the butler (who we never met or heard from) because of the inconvenience of repacking and moving rooms. A failure in customer service in my mind. The complimentary shuttle service around the immediate area, continental breakfast, and most staff members were positive highlights of the trip. And our second room didn't leak. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed Santa Fe and the location of Hotel Santa Fe, but I'd suggest not booking or staying here until you confirm that the repairs have been completed to ensure the reality of your stay matches the unfulfilled promises of their inaccurate web page. The resort level price paid per night was not in-line for the almost absent amenities that was not made known until arrival. We will not be back, but wish them well on their efforts to restore what could be a great hotel.....it's just not even close right now.

I was staying in this room alone, so I was a bit freaked out. When he (obviously) failed to enter my room, he went around the back and tried to enter through the window!!! My room was on the first floor, facing the backyard sitting area (where there are seats, fountains, a tub). The guest was probably drunk and forgot which room was his, but it was still scary to have him try to enter my room twice. I don't necessarily blame Luxx for this issue, but when I raised this at check-out the next day, the man at the counter laughed and said something along the lines that he'd have better luck next time. Wtf -- Even if we weren't in this period of #metoo and #imwithher, I never want the hotel employee to joke about my room being broken into. Another thing is that I booked the Luxx through Booking.com and was sent a reservation confirmation with the final price. When I checked my credit card, there was a discrepancy. It wasn't much, but still odd that they charged me more than they said they would. I tried calling, I left a couple of voicemails -- no response. Bottom-line: Find somewhere else to stay.
