Showing proof that they scam people!! they even blocked me after asking for a refund

This place is a scam!! They charge me $100 & refused to give it back. They charge to make appointments. Then block you once you ask for the money back... I will report everyone to the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division , FTC, BBB. I've recorded all the conversations and will making sure they are notified.

The other Cadillac left disassembled when he quit the second day I started.

My experience here was better than I expected…read more I came here because I needed to get my convertible roof top replaced since I recently bought a used convertible from their sister dealership in Austin called Austin Expo Cars. The top came with a torn roof and I had an agreement signed with them stating that they will replaced it with a brand new one after I bought the car. Sure enough, a few weeks later they shipped the new roof top to Uptown Imports and I was to directly coordinate with them from there on out. My main point of contact was Narius Irani, or also known as "Wally". I was apprehensive at first because I wasn't sure how well he would be able to get a hold of or how professional he would be. I had instances in the past where I would try calling other businesses three times, leave voice mails and text, and not get a reply back until a few days later (I opt not to mention who or where at this point). Wally was an exceptional person who answered all my calls and responded to voice mails promptly. He handled my (stressful) situation well by setting a solid date on when I could have the roof fixed and even scheduled for me to pick it up on a Sunday (closed). I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism offered and would recommend contacting him for your next business. It may not seem like much, but when you have other people owing you parts and labor worth a lot of money and the only proof is a small piece of "I owe you" paper, the "unknown" factor scares you. I'm just glad I did not have to go through my company lawyer for this one! In the end, although I did not purchase a car from them, I had the pleasure of dealing with Uptown Imports. Just FYI, my roof was repaired by Joe Ram. He did a fantastic job on my convertible and put emphasis on quality. One of the straps that he was going to re-use was broken and I had it replaced at no cost. I believe others would have just re-used it.

However, upon receiving the car, I discovered multiple issues that were not disclosed prior to the sale. The audio system is defective, with severe distortion even at low volume. I specifically asked about the radio as it looked like it was post-factory installed. The vehicle came with only one key, which was in terrible condition (I'd rate it 7 out of 100). On top of that, the car was never detailed before it was shipped -- the interior was dirty, and the engine bay was filled with leaves and debris, which is shocking for a vehicle with only 38,000 miles. The doors had glue all over them as someone had taken them apart and tried to put them together. None of this was mentioned beforehand and the list can go on! I contacted Angello immediately to address these issues, but after multiple attempts, I've received no response except "I will forward your message to the director" I got a loan for the can and cannot register it in California because Uptown imports did not send the pink slip to the DMV or to the bank (as they are supposed to) Eventually they ended up sending it to me! (WHAT?) How are they in business of selling cars if they don't even know what to do with the pink slip?! This level of communication and customer service is completely unacceptable. If a business can't stand behind what it sells--or even respond after the sale--that speaks volumes. I've waited long enough for a resolution and am extremely disappointed in how this was handled. Buyers... beware!

He didn't bother to call me. So rude and ignorant!! I needed a car and they wouldn't lift a finger. I gave them my income and showed them 14 years of me getting that income but it wasn't good enough. They wanted statements showing the deposits!! They were on the computer with me and it was official sites I got my papers from. I'm a veteran and they refused to believe I get the money I get. Made me feel like I was doing something criminal!! Wasted my time for 2 1/2 hours but nothing I gave them was good enough.

We weren't told what the issue was or what the time line would be and a rude sales person after 3 weeks of calling for updates told us it could be months before it was resolved. We escalated and finally were put in touch with a sales manager who said we would have an answer by Tuesday but after calling 3 more times we were told they sold the car out from under us to a different location after waiting for a full month. We tried to discuss getting a similar make and model from a different store but they expect us to pay 2/3s of the shipping on top of everything else. Extremely unprofessional. This would have been our 3rd time buying from Carmax but instead we will never consider them an option again and will be letting anyone know to avoid Carmax at all cost.

However, they do have one major problem. The selection of cars is very small. Also, there's cars on the lot but apparently they haven't been looked over yet. I wanted to buy a vehicle same day but the car I wanted to look at hadn't gone through the process of going through the shop yet. I didn't understand how they couldn't just look at it the same day and see if there were any issues with it. I called back a couple days later to see if it was available and it still wasn't processed through the shop. How long does it take? By the time they have the car ready I've already purchased another vehicle.

I bought a car from NexCar in July 2025, and I just got around to changing the oil on it. I found that the technician at NexCar cross threaded the drain plug (this damages the oil pan, leads to oil leaks, and can put metal shavings in the oil), and I know NexCar did this because they change the oil on all their cars. To remedy their mistake, some gorilla put RTV silicone all around the plug and WAY over tightened it (this further damaged the pan and can put silicone in the oil). I immediately took pictures and videos of their horrible repair and got a repair quote from a local shop. I sent these to Beto, a service representative, and he took days to respond after repeated calls. Today, after the car has been waiting in a shop for three days, I called again just to be informed by the owner that the cars are sold "as is" and they won't pay for the repairs. If I bought the car from someone on Facebook, I would assume such risks. However, this was an established business with seemingly good reviews. NexCar strung me around for a week waiting an answer and repeatedly ignored my calls. What NexCar did was crooked, and businesses like them give used car dealers a bad reputation. If I could leave a 0 star review, I would.

In June I leased a 2026 Acura Integra, I traded in my 2020 Acura MDX for it. I decided that I actually hate this vehicle. If I wanted a Honda Civic I would've went to Honda to lease it for probably $200 cheaper. When one thinks of an Acura they want to think of precision, luxury, and performance. The Integra is honestly just a Honda Civic Touring with a different facia. But i'm not writing this review off a vehicle I don't like, I'm writing this because the service I received trying to trade this vehicle for a 2026 Acura MDX was terrible. I understand trading a vehicle I got literally 2 months ago for a completely different vehicle might be difficult but it's not impossible. They explained all the issues with negative equity and all of that how it could affect the price but I honestly do not care what the payment would be. Muson or Guman or Mansoon I don't even know what his name is so stuck up when trying to finalize. I understand it's his job to upsell but put some effort in it. Just sitting there looking like he couldn't care less. Not to mention the money hungry salesmen outside, looking like they haven't sold a car in months. I live in the Galleria Area down in Houston, going all the way North is not fun nor cheap. So i've had to go up there probably 3 days after work to come home with the same Integra. Mind you this is after work so after 5 and I understand everyone wants to go home but the dealership closes at 8 why am I not being helped till 7? Then "Come back tomorrow we'll get you set!" So I drove up there for nothing? I'm 18 years old, I change my mind a lot but the Acura MDX is what best suits me, was I stupid to trade a MDX for an Integra? Yes. Can I afford to make payments even with a load of negative equity? Yes, thank you Jesus I have an amazing job to do so. I don't understand what a dealership wouldn't love about a dumb 18 year old just giving his money out. I'd rather take my business to Acura Sugar Land or Sterling McCall Acura, not here unless you want terrible service and people who don't care and just want your money.
