I love their smoked turkey and they definitely have the best sides, but my last visit was different. I am a huge fan of their fried catfish! It's made to order, so factor in a good 15 minute wait. Had to visit Big Bib bbq once I found out they had 'Filthy fries' , I got the brisket for my protein. I asked them for marbled brisket and the lady told me that it however they cut it, is what I would get. They are so rude and not very welcoming. The customer service is definitely not consistent. One of the ladies was even getting on to a co worker for saying they he had chicken in the case again. It's off putting. Wow, this place is excellent!! We needed last-minute catering for a funeral and Big Bib came through! Shelby was helpful and friendly, and made our order come together perfectly. We both got the potato casserole and the sweet potato casserole as our sides. Mom didn't care for her beef tips so I traded her by brisket. She loved it and the sweet potato casserole (I ended up trading her my sweet potato casserole for her regular potato casserole,). When we got our plates I thought for sure we would have leftovers, but we all but licked our plates clean! The food was delicious. We tried the BBQ rib sauce and the sweet sauce and both were good. There is also a spicy sauce, but we are wimpy so no go on that, lol. By the time we were ready to leave the place was packed and people were coming in for to go orders (by that time they just had the pulled pork, brisket and I think chicken left). Big Bib had delicious rib tips and chicken! My husband had a chicken plate with green beans and pinto beans. I had the rib tips and potato salad, and green beans. Everyone's a winner when eating there! It was crowded. The restaurant is clean and neat. It's loud because there's a TV and music playing, but that adds to the down-home feeling you get when you walk through the door.
