I asked them for marbled brisket and the lady told me that it however they cut it, is what I would get. They are so rude and not very welcoming. I was told they were out of ribs out of turkey out of chicken, but then when other people walked in shortly after me. They were told how long the wait would be for those items. The customer service is definitely not consistent. One of the ladies was even getting on to a co worker for saying they he had chicken in the case again. It's off putting. I am sorry to say this was super disappointing as I have been here before and loved the ribs. I think it is a different rib or turkey and was not fall off the bone goodness. Located in a sort of seedy side of town behind a mechanic shop. Apparently used to be behind a car wash. Impression not that good initially but very friendly staff warmed me up. Also quite a steady stream of customers says a lot. Got brisket sandwhich and potatoe salad. Very good but about a quarter was inedible burnt ends and so I felt jipped! Went on a Friday evening with my 83 year old mother about 4:30. Parking lot was empty, but could see there were people inside. Was treated by friendly cashier when we walked in. They were patient and will to explain the menu. They were already out of bbq ribs mush to my Mom's disappointment, but she ordered the beef tips and I got the brisket. We both got the potato casserole and the sweet potato casserole as our sides. Mom didn't care for her beef tips so I traded her by brisket. She loved it and the sweet potato casserole (I ended up trading her my sweet potato casserole for her regular potato casserole,). When we got our plates I thought for sure we would have leftovers, but we all but licked our plates clean! The food was delicious. We tried the BBQ rib sauce and the sweet sauce and both were good. There is also a spicy sauce, but we are wimpy so no go on that, lol. By the time we were ready to leave the place was packed and people were coming in for to go orders (by that time they just had the pulled pork, brisket and I think chicken left). Been wanting to try this place for a while. I had previously looked it up and noticed all of their meats were gluten free. It was nice to see all of the allergies were marked for everything on the menu. Not a lot of BBQ places have that. I got the bbq ribs plate with a extra brisket, sweet potato and baked potato casserole. Ribs and brisket were sooo good lots of flavor and tender. Wasn't a huge fan of the baked potato casserole but really liked the sweet potato. I'm normally eat keto so next time I'll most likely just get the meat but did want to try the sides this time.
