HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: ZERO RATING Disgusting! Have never been to this restaurant and will never be back again. I do hope people read this review. We started off with the salad and that was fine. The carved meats that were offered to us were: Spicy Sirloin (couldn't chew the meat, it was like dried leather). Parmesan Drumettes (must have been cooked three days ago. Chicken was so dry that you couldn't even cut it off the bone. Brazilian Sausage (editable but dry). Skirt steak (it was still "mooing". Completely raw). Flank Steak (another cooked steak from three days ago). Just horrible. All of us were so disappointed. When my plate was picked up from the waitress, I told her that the food was terrible, it was not her fault, but the manager and kitchen staff needs to know. She was a delight and very understanding. The manager came to my table and I told him just how bad the dinner was. His response was "Oh, so sorry to hear this. You are the very first person to complain". He didn't care one bit. I told him I took a picture of my plate to show nothing was eaten (chewed meat spit out and all the rest of the meat not eaten). He could have cared less. Made reservations to celebrate my son's birthday, since we were in OKC. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The meat was plentiful, constant and cooked various ways. We didn't have to flip our cards over before a new meat was coming out. The cold buffet was nicely stocked and yummy. I was not a fan of the lobster bisque, because it was a bit sweet. My favorite item is heart of palm. The restruant was very clean and pretty. This place is about $65 per person to eat here, so come hungry. The suggested tip for 2 people is about $25, just FYI. They do have military discount with valid I.D. If you have never been and are a meat eater you should definitely give it a try. read more

This place is always one of our favorites in okc. I'm not a meat person but I enjoy their salad bar. They have a variety of different options. The meat I've done once ,I just don't like the feeling after eating all that meet but I still enjoy the restaurant with my family. The service is always great no complaints. Recently visited Texas de Brazil for supper. The salad bar was excellent and as good as you could want. The spicy steak and filet mignon were the best beef that we found. The chicken was just ok. Service was fast, friendly, and excellent in all aspects. We were surprised that there were so many tables available and yet we were seated adjacent to a large family with many small children that were too young to understand using an indoor voice. I suspect the atmosphere might be better on a week night rather than a weekend. Overall very good restaurant, but not cheap. Our bill without any drinks, dessert, or alcohol was $250 for 4 people. read more

They will start avoiding you and ignore after the first round of your table. Even with only 2-3 other tables seated not even a full house. Expected more but surely not surprised about the outcome. The server was nice she was awesome but the gauchos were just being plane rude and ignoring us. Tried complaining to the manager if anything can be given in good faith since I've never had such poor service. We are frequent visitors of the Texas de Brazil location in Irvine, California. It is one of our favorite "celebration" restaurants where we go to splurge to celebrate a special occasion. Since we were in Oklahoma City for my wife's birthday, we decided to visit the OKC location on 6/1/2025. We arrived for our 4:00 lunch table, and were seated as far away from the buffet and kitchen as was possible in that restaurant (there were only 4 tables occupied). Long story short, the meats were average at best- several times we were served extra rare/raw/purple meat that we couldn't even eat, even after telling our waitress our preference was "medium". The pasadores didn't understand what we were asking for, and at one point 12-14 minutes passed with nobody coming to our table to serve meat, refill drinks or refill sides. Our waitress was non-existent and at one point I went to the bar to ask for our waitress to refill our fried bananas. My kids (18, 15) were falling asleep waiting for food to eat until we finally asked someone to please send some meat to our table. This location was a complete disappointment for my family, and I personally was upset that my family of 4 wasted over $270 on a mediocre experience. This is definitely not managed by the same level of people who manage Irvine because the experience could not have been any different. If I was a first-time visitor, I would never return based on the service at the location. Horrible. read more

I as visiting Oklahoma for a work trip and wanted a Brazilian steakhouse experience for my team. It was all I expected: great meats, salad bar, and an unexpected treat was that I could add coconut and dragonfruit flavors to the Brazilian limeade The only downside was that the lamb chops were not a part of the experience. They were only available as an up-charge. Every other Brazilian steakhouse I've been to has them included so that was a surprise, especially considering the amount you pay to eat at these places. Service was terrible; waitress wiped her nose with her hands and went straight to out plates on the table. Then the waitress comes every 3 to 5 minutes to ask if you're doing OK their way of pushing you out of the restaurant. At the same time the staff they are serving the meat they stop coming around. This was our first time going to this restaurant we really did not know what to expect until the waitress Rhi explained it to us. I like the concept of it being buffet style but not. I liked the salad bar with a lot of different veggies to choose from. It was so much meat to choose from but I had a few and my favorite was the New York strip it was nice . It was seasoned well and it almost melted in my my because it was so soft. It was hard to keep up with what meat you had and did not have. They come around pretty regularly, but obviously the point is to come slowly enough that you fill up before you eat more than you've paid for. SPECTACULAR. The food was soo good, I thought I'd explode from eating sooo much. Our main server, Charles, was always nearby and checked on us regularly. The gauchos were nonstop, and it was difficult to say no thank you because it was all so good. The atmosphere was very loud when we got there, but it seemed to soften a bit as the evening went on. Never buy a Texas De Brazil gift card they come with strings and limitations. Full Review: First the service was great. We actually wound up with two waitresses due to the first one going on break. Both were engaging but not intrusive, extremely friendly, cheerful, funny, and helpful. Second don't go unless you're ready to eat. For anyone that doesn't know, it's essentially an all you can eat steakhouse. They carry around platters/skewers of different meats and you decide what you want to try. There were a few pork options (very dry), a few chicken (decent), and at least 6 (probably closer to 10) different beef options (most were great). Cuts ranged from sirloin, flank, rib roast, and filets. Surprisingly the flank was by far my favorite due to seasoning. They offered lamb as an add on, which I have seen included at competitors. The salad bar is fairly large (although I have seen 2x the size at other Brazilian steak houses in my travels). Everything on it was good. They had salmon on one end that was quite tasty. There was also a lobster bisque. It was also really good as well. When it comes to atmosphere, the place is actually small. It is in Penn Square mall so I am sure space was limited. But we were surprised at how small the tables were. I actually took it upon myself to remove the rock candle center piece and put it on the floor. I was annoyed because we were after the lunch rush, had reservations, and they still sat us at a smaller table in a busy walkway, despite the place being less than 1/2 full. Strike two against the greeter/manager (strike one being his general attitude and lack of friendliness when we first arrived). Cost wise, I think upping the price to full price for a 13yo is aggressive. My son was certainly a money maker for them. They should up the full price at 15/16. All in all the experience was good. I did have one bone to pick with the company as a whole and the manager. When it came time to pay, I wanted to use two gift cards. The waitress said no problem. I also showed her a $20 off coupon I was emailed from the company. She had seen it not let coupons work with gift cards before. But she offered to try. This was disappointing since the point of a gift card is that someone paid cash and it's essentially supposed to be treated as cash. None the less, she tried and came back saying it wouldn't work. Showing me a fine print statement on the gift card her manager showed her. In effect it is what it is, who reads fine print on a gift card? I only mention it to hopefully prevent someone else from ever buy a gift card from them that clearly is not treated as cash. My son wisely pointed out that since we were a table of 4, the coupon for $20 off was for dinner of two. So why not just split the check. One group uses gift cards. The other use the coupon. The waitress and I both said that is a good idea and we wished we'd thought of it initially. Kudos to her, she went to try. However, the manager interceded and came over to explain its "per table" and wouldn't work. In my opinion that was poor management as that is entirely subjective. His attitude was not very friendly or helpful. I did not want to push it and ruin our overall enjoyment of the dinner. So I just said I would remember and take note. After all, that's what yelp is for. The waitress was apologetic and I could tell she was worried it would affect her tip (it didn't, she was great, she was tipped well). But all in all, I won't be going back due to the managers demeanor, attitude, and handling of things (seating, welcome, coupon). I hear Fogo is coming to OKC. If so, this place will have to step up their game considerably to be competitive. read more

I frequently visit the Irvine location near my house, which is great. We were in Oklahoma City and decided to give this location a try. It could not have been any more different. The outside is very dirty, inside is dark and food is not comparable to the Irvine location. The buffet was messy, and very slow to refill when things ran out. The waitress was slow and the meats were not as tasty, which surprising as Oklahoma should have more fresh meat given its near so many ranches. read more

We visit there at least 6 times a year for birthdays. Went there tonight to celebrate my 50th birthday and our server Isabell 1109 was absolutely horrible. The only time she spoke to me is when we walked in and she said happy birthday. No other words were spoken to me or the side of the table I sat on. Asked the other side if they wanted dessert but we were disregarded. Had to ask for our plates. Never a thank you. If that is the treatment we are expected to get then we will now have to find another restaurant to celebrate at. Come hungry and be prepared to eat your heart out. Staff members walk around with huge skewers of meat around the dining room. If you see something you like, simply tell them and they will expertly slice a piece onto your plate. Don't forget the salad bar though, it offers a lot of refreshing options. Food is high turnover over fussy buffet food that lacks flavor and seasoning.... Occasionally you get lucky and you get something that has too much salt and you are reminded you have taste buds. Service is very aggressive and in your face. Not sure what the coaster sign thingies are for... I'll give credit where credit is due... If you have teenagers or 'growing boys' that enjoy access to steak and as much as they can eat... well then this is paradise. It's quantity over quality here but hey if your audience is a growing family during the holidays... This is a saving grace. The food is excellent and the service is usually pretty great. You can have the meat cooked to your liking, which is nice because I only like things well-done. There are so many options between the meats and salad bar. There really is something for everyone (even picky kids). I love the cherry limeade!! You can get a pitcher for your table. Highly recommend. The restaurant is located at Penn Square Mall (South side of the mall), and there is an external restaurant-only entrance, thankfully, which makes going there much easier. Tasted like frozen potato slices smothered with velvetta. The rice and black beans were great, also the lobster bisque! Yummy! This was our first time to dine at a Brazilian steak house, and it's all about the meats. Ordered (and paid additional for) lamb chops. Quite delightful. The best was the picanha!
