This is our favorite date / special occasion restaurant. The mood is just right for a romantic dinner, and the service is always impeccable. The pork chops with glazed carrots are amazing. The warmed carrot cake is absolutely essential to the experience. The only thing we've ever tried that was disappointing was the sea bass. Everything else is incredible. This is by far my favorite casual restaurant in Oklahoma and every location I've been to is consistently good. Everything made in house means the quality is top notch, something not found in national chains. The dining room is cozy, staff friendly, and the food always outstanding. We start with a side of fried okra as our app because it's the perfect way to start the meal. Dinner salads include from scratch dressing and are served with a decadently over the top croissant, so light and flaky! I had the chicken piccata, my favorite on the menu for the lemony and buttery tangy caper sauce, and the seasonal veg (Brussels sprouts). He had the steak, cooked perfectly, with a loaded baked potato and we had to get the carrot cake and key lime pie to take home because you do not want to skip dessert! read more

Charleston's has always been a favorite of mine, so naturally, I took my friend visiting from California to experience it. Charleston's was one of the first restaurants I fell in love with when I moved to Oklahoma. Though I had never been to the Southside location before, it did not disappoint. I ordered the salmon, and my friend had the blackened fish tacos. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. As always, the salads were fresh, and those signature croissant rolls were as delightful as ever. The overall dining experience was fantastic, as expected. Our server, Whitley, was attentive and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return to Charleston's for another wonderful meal. read more

Our waiter was amazing( can't remember his name) Ensured our drinks were topped off everytime he came by. His knowledge of the menu and today's special was impressive. Our steak was juicy, the salmon salad tasted fresh and was an amazing portioned size. My Mahi Mahi was flavor. Our sides loaded baked potatoes, salads and artichoke dip...DELICIOUS! Food was outstanding! I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cream gravy. Candied carrots too! It was a lot of food with two large chicken breasts deep fried perfectly and sooooo delicious. Candied carrots were bright in color, tender, and perfectly candied. It was almost like dessert! My wait person was outstanding. The iced tea just kept appearing and soon as my glass was a quarter empty. Lucky me, some wonderful people paid my entire bill and even left the tip. Atmosphere in this place is casual and comfortable. So good I'm taking my son there tonight! You are making a mistake not to try this place if you're from out of town. My fiance and I come often & prefer to sit in the bar. We have been coming here for 10 years and consider ourselves regulars. I would say this location has it's ups and downs, but it's had more ups lately! We really like Taylor the bartender- she is always so friendly & warm! Not to mention on top of it!! I always notice that she is very resourceful, and even when her hands are full- our needs are still met. I really appreciate her positive attitude even when I feel like I'm being needy and running her all over the place by drinking 7 diet cokes in 5 minutes. read more

Another fantastic meal at Charleston's. I haven't been to this location in quite some time, but everything was just as I remembered. We were able to get a couple of off menu items, loaded fries and chicken fried steak, which was recently removed from the menu. May I suggest putting these delicious options back on the menu? My family and I had the misfortune of eating at this particular Charleston's Restaurant. From the time we arrived till the time we finished our distasteful meal our entire experience at this Charleston's was bad. Our party of five was immediately taken to the dining room and offered a table right near the stairs. Immediately we requested another table tucked near the front of the restaurant, where the lighting was much better. The waitress came to our table and we ordered our appetizers. We ordered queso to go with our chips. Since there were 5 of us, we finished our chips quickly. We asked for another order of chips. Unbeknownst, to my husband and I the male waiter served us the leftover chips from another table that had left earlier! Our 9 yr old very shy daughter watched the waiter do this She was scared of telling us what had happened.. Immediately once the chips were placed on our table, she took the used chips to the side of her chair to protect the rest of the family from eating them. Once our entrees were brought out the waiters practically threw our entrees in front of 3 of us barely missing the appetizer dishes Not to mention the rude woman who came to our table. She didn't introduce herself, at all and stood over oAll in all this was the worst Charleston Restaurant experience ever. read more

The food was delicious and flavorful. Our waiter was good. I had the prime rib and it was made just right. I had a piece of the croissant and it was buttery and fluffy. I would give them 5 stars but didn't because there's upcharge to certain items that they don't tell you until you see it on the check. Overall, food was delicious. read more

The food is consistently delicious and when we want to go somewhere that we can reliably get a good meal--we often choose Charleston's.

Charleston's was recommended to us while we were working in the Oklahoma City area. From the outside, it appears to be a mid-scale restaurant and bar similar in format to Chili's, TGIF Friday's and others. Inside, the menu is on a single page so it's pretty focused and does not go down the path of being all things to all people. I think most folks would find an agreeable choice. Our dinner started with an order of queso that was perfectly fine, but the real star was the dynamite shrimp, lightly breaded fried shrimp dressed in a spicy sweet sauce. These shrimp were addictive and they can be ordered on a dinner salad if desired. For dinner, the cheeseburgers were perfectly cooked (medium rare as requested), and the pork chops and chicken piccata were enjoyed too. The portions are huge-you could probably feed two people with each entree. Service was a standout; our server Laynie was a hoot! She really made our visit enjoyable and memorable. And we'll be back for sure. Recommended. read more

The atmosphere at Charlestons is cozy and upscale. Had a nice dinner at the bar on a Tuesday evening. Super nice staff! I decided on the blackened Mahi and it was cooked very nicely. The rice was a bit underseasoned but fixable with the salt and pepper nearby. The flash fried brussels in a chili sauce was ok but not my favorite. It was swimming in sauce so I could only eat the top few layers and had to leave the stranded swimmers at the bottom to drown. :( The house salad was ok too. I got it with balsamic and again they drenched it. I could only eat about 2/3 of it and had to pick and choose which carrots to save from the bottom. It was served with a surprise croissant too, which was nice but also like a dessert and didn't really go with the salad. It had so much sticky sugar on it I had to pick pieces out of my teeth. read more

Hands down, some of the best food we had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done perfectly! The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. We especially loved the creative twists on classic dishes. ! Our server Peter did a great job. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY!!!! THEY MAY OR MAY NOT DELIVER!! (Even through their own website!!!) They cancelled our delivery order and changed it to pickup and NEVER TOLD US!!! (No email, no call, no text. Nothing) They had our phone number AND email address. They simply cancelled delivery, put it to pick up, CHARGED MY CARD!) never told us and just waited. After 49 minutes past the delivery time promised (!), we called. We never had any offer of anything for the inconvenience (an hour late on our food) and we had to drive to pick up anorder that we tipped for delivery on. (This was 12:25 pm on a Sunday). This restaurant was nice and the customer service was top notch. I ordered a loaded potato and prime rib, but it was fatty and flavor-less (it was baked). I was told if I got the horseradish sauce with the sauce that comes with. I'm from Texas so I cannot do flavorless meat. They were fast, sweet and replaced it really quick with a sirloin with lots of seasoning cooked medium. My baked potato was good. The kids ordered chicken tenders with lots of flavor and decent macaroni and cheese. They also ordered cheese burgers and fries that they enjoyed. The kids also received ice cream with chocolate syrup. The sweet tea was good. The bathrooms were clean, but the one that wasn't handicapped was kinda tight to get in and out. They also gave us a military discount on which is always awesome. Glad we gave it a try. read more

I'd say my overall experience at this Charleston's was average. The server was nice-ish but not super on top of things, and the food was ok. I will say the filet was cooked perfectly medium and it was super tender. I didn't like that the cheese for the loaded mash was just stuck together like a blob of mess. Haven't been to a Charleston's in nearly 14yrs for some reason but wife and I are glad we dined in. The atmosphere is intimate but casual enough to come as you please. We are properly greeted and seated within a few short minutes. Our waiter was prompt and courteous. Wife and I shared the pork chop dinner; comes w/ 2 chops and excellent prepared and seasoned. The vegetables medley was great, the seasoning was spectacular, exploding with flavor. The salad was crisp with all the toppings and the spicy croutons was a pleasant surprise on my palate. They usually have really good food. I got the chicken fried steak and it was almost all breading and the steak had a lot of gristle. The carrots were excellent my wife had the salmon which is always really good. I love their Caesar salads. Not best visit but we have had good ones before and will continue to choose this Resturant not negate it based on one partially bad experience. read more

This spot is serving HAPPY HOUR , beginning at 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. There's a formal cozy side for a more formal dining experience, or sit on the bar side foe the casual. I like Charleston's and yes they are a steakhouse, but they need to up they're game. I got the Impossible Burger which is so good but they don't have a vegan bun. Really? A plant based burger without a vegan bun! It comes on an egg bun! Really! Then the okra. It's dipped in egg and cornmeal. So nope, I can't eat that either. Then I have then hold the bun and the cheese and add avocado and that costs me $2. I don't mind the upcharge, but I did just save them money. Come on, I drank two glasses of wine, paid for the Impossible Burger without a bun or cheese, show me some love here! read more
