When I got home I noticed that my new truck was leaking oil. I open the hood and oil was everywhere. The mechanic who serviced my truck did a horrible job! That guy didn't even wipe down or clean my truck. I will never take Truck there again. This is how they treat their customers after purchasing a Ram product. I called them back had them clean it up and had a master mechanic look it over. I asked the service manager to change fuel filters for wasting my time and their mistake. He offered me a wash! LOL. Seek another professional dealership!

Fortunately, the representative at Ford was able to locate one of my original wiper blades, so I only needed to purchase one new blade and a replacement rubber for the second one. The Honda employee who assisted me was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, making sure all my needs were taken care of. Then, on March 9, 2026, I returned to Honda because Ford was unable to help me remove a stuck valve cap on my tire. Honda checked it right away and advised that they could fix the issue without any problem, estimating it would take about one to one and a half hours. Their team worked quickly and efficiently, and I was back on the road much sooner than expected. As an added bonus, they even washed my car for free, which I truly appreciated. Thank you, Honda, for the wonderful customer service. Please keep up the excellent work! Special shout‑out to Thuan Vo for the outstanding assistance!

I really wanted this purchase to work out. The buying experience started off well, and my…read moresalesperson was responsive and helpful initially. Unfortunately, everything that happened after I drove the vehicle home changed my opinion of Katy Honda. I purchased a 2018 Honda Civic Si on July 17. That same evening I discovered an oil leak and a driver-side low-beam issue. I notified the dealership immediately and returned the car the following morning. During that drive, multiple warning lights and system messages came on. Katy Honda kept the vehicle for nearly two weeks. During that time, I repeatedly asked what had actually been diagnosed, what repairs were being performed and for copies of the repair order and inspection documentation. I was told I would receive those records. I didn't. When I finally picked the car up, the low beam still wasn't fixed. Then on August 8, substantially the same warning-light condition returned. At that point I took the vehicle to Gillman Honda for an independent Honda diagnostic. Gillman documented permanent P0172 and found that the PCM had been modified, was missing diagnostic information and had a serial number that did not match Honda's data list. They recommended replacing and reprogramming the PCM. Only after I returned to Katy Honda with that independent diagnosis did I finally receive the July 31 repair order I had repeatedly requested. Katy Honda's own document showed they had already retrieved P0172, reset it and documented an "aftermarket performance intake, exhaust and possible tune." That information was never disclosed to me before I bought the vehicle. I also later received communications from the prior owner indicating that the rear-main oil leak and recurring warning-light condition had been disclosed during the trade-in process. I'm not claiming every employee at Katy Honda knew that information, but I believe it is fair to expect a dealership to know what it is acquiring, properly inspect what it is selling, and disclose material information it discovers. I have tried repeatedly to resolve this directly with Katy Honda management. The issue remains unresolved, and I have now filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies. I don't expect a used car to be perfect. I do expect transparency, documentation and accountability. That is where this experience fell apart for me.

FINAL RESOLUTION UPDATE: Neither corporate nor management broke their silence--I happened to…read morerandomly catch our salesperson, Justin, on the phone. Justin took immediate control and rectified the entire situation himself. He informed us he had absolutely no idea the power boards were still disconnected, was never told that my husband had physically come into the showroom to speak to manager Byron Nelson, and was completely unaware that nobody was reaching back out to us while he was out of office. They found it was just a loose wire and plugged the boards back in (like the Service Dept should've initially done after running their MPI) for $0 out of pocket. While we are incredibly grateful for Justin's personal honesty and quick action, this completely exposes the extreme lack of communication and gatekeeping by AutoNation Ford Katy's management team. We had filed complaints with the Texas DMV, the Texas Attorney General, and the BBB because management chose to stonewall us until we got lucky on the phone. Justin saved this deal, but beware of the management here.

One of the worst service experiences I've had…read more I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating service experience at AutoNation Ford Katy (20777 Katy Fwy) that began on March 7, 2026 and took seven days to resolve due to repeated mistakes, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior from management. I brought my vehicle in for: * Oil change * Tire rotation * Windshield wiper rubber insert replacement only (not full blade replacement) Despite being very clear about the wiper request, I discovered immediately after leaving that my entire wiper blades had been replaced against my instructions. When I brought this to the attention of the service advisor (Randy), he appeared confused and dismissive. Only one of my original wiper blades could be located, and I was told the technician had already left for the day--suggesting my vehicle was rushed. No accountability was taken, and no solution was offered. Because AutoNation could not correct its own mistake, I had to go to Honda, where I was told I would need to buy new blades since one was missing. I had to rush back to AutoNation before closing just to retrieve the single blade that was found so I wouldn't have to buy two replacements. Shortly after leaving Honda, my tire pressure light came on, which was concerning given that a tire rotation and air check had supposedly been done. The next day, I discovered one valve cap was completely stuck, making it impossible to add air--confirming the service had not been properly completed and that no issue was disclosed. When I returned on Monday to request reimbursement for: 1. The wipers AutoNation incorrectly charged me for. 2. The replacement wiper I had to purchase due to their mistake. I encountered extremely rude and dismissive behavior from a manager named Don, who interrupted me, spoke condescendingly, and showed zero interest in resolving the issue. Although he acknowledged the stuck valve cap, he claimed they "didn't have the right size" to fix it--something Honda corrected immediately. Honda also washed my car, which AutoNation didn't do. Reimbursement was delayed and incorrect multiple times, and my name and address were misspelled on both the invoice and checks--showing sloppy handling of customer information. The only bright spot in this entire experience was Henry, another manager. Henry reviewed everything, immediately acknowledged the mistakes, corrected the reimbursements properly, took ownership of the situation, and followed through exactly as promised. He demonstrated genuine professionalism, accountability, and respect--something noticeably absent elsewhere during this ordeal. It is upsetting that a simple service visit escalated into a week-long issue because one manager refused to help. This location's lack of workmanship, professionalism, and accountability reflects very poorly on the AutoNation brand. I strongly urge corporate leadership to review management conduct and service procedures at this dealership. If not for Henry, this situation likely would not have been resolved at all.
