Always looking for a Texas sized donut warmed up but don't want to take the drive to Randy's or Kindle's donut. To be just 10 mins from me it was alright very greasy when warmed up which is a big turnoff for me other than that pretty good. Also they only have selected flavors on different days which is another turnoff. read more

We ordered the croissants and Texas donuts. It was unique, not everywhere has the giant donuts. The donuts were just ok, we've definitely had better, the donut was so airy and hollow. The croissants on the other hand were winners here, really filling and full of stuff packed into that croissant. read more

This review is only for the Texas donut. Seen all the reviews on yelp and decided to check this place out. First of all parking is on Ford street and kind of tricky. It's a parking lot but there is no drive way in. You turn in and park. Due to East LA this can be tricky when you back out. If you have someone with you have them guide you. Nothing fancy, hole in the wall place. They make fresh juices, have ice coffee, hot coffee, milk and sodas. They have sandwiches available too. Their donut variety is not all that great but I keep seeing great reviews especially for the big Texas donut. Soooooo, I ordered one. Glazed with sprinkles. It was only 3 bucks! Of course, this thing is huge, 8" round donut. I had to share with my boyfriend. I was a bit hesitant because a lot of donuts have that greasy lard after taste but surprisingly this donut did not. It tasted fresh, fluffy, and delicious. They have a variety of big donuts. I am instantly a fan. It was so good that I will definitely be back to try other donuts. Very impressed and the owners are very nice. This place is nothing fancy but if you want a good tasting donut then I highly recommend. read more

Wow, Texas Donuts are amazing. I came here one day to surprise my kids with one of their giant donuts. As we drove up it is close to the 710 freeway and there was tons of street parking and a small private lot. Once inside there is a small counter with a small selection of donuts and a few Mexican breads. So I ordered a Texas size donut, a donut with sprinkles and a bear claw. Well let me tell you that with the donut holes and the donuts my family of 5 could barely finish our order. All the donuts tasted fresh and fluffy so I have no complaints. Also I am assuming that the oil is pretty clean because the donuts don't leave a nasty after taste in your mouth like other places do. I will be coming back soon. read more

Love it! Great prices, great quality. Although it's a small location there are two breakfast bar style seating areas and a small table. Great for a fast lunch or breakfast on the go. I like that you aren't limited to the menu. I customize my croissant sandwich, ham, cheese, avocado, on a slightly sweet and quite large croissant bread with pickled onion and jalapeño on the side all for... wait for it ... $3.50. Amazingly priced taking into account that avocado isn't cheap and it's a generous serving size. I'm not much of a boba person, but I like the boba here. I recommend their Thai tea with boba. It isn't too stong but also not overwhelmingly sweet. Also decent service. I was in and out of there in 15 min. I always stop by when I'm in the area. I highly recommend. read more

I like this place! I went these in the middle of the afternoon so they were out of some kind of donuts. Nonetheless, I took half a dozen. Now, I have always liked donuts and have never met a donut I did't like. My wife however, usually disapproves of donuts saying that fried dough is too oily. She downed these with no hesitation at all. I highly recommend this place. Next time, I'm going to try that huge Texas-sized donut they offer. After all, my doctor said I should only have one donut per day. read more

Overall 3.5 a normal donut place…read more I was in the area and craving some "pink box" donuts. You know the kind of donuts that don't cost $7 each and have fancy names. This is it. I stopped in around 10am and there were only 4 trays left. It definitely was not as stocked as in the picture. I guess that's pretty impressive and indicative of the popularity amongst locals. There doesn't seem to be a lot of these local mom and pop donut spots in the East La/Monterey Park area. Overall tip: maybe come a bit earlier if you want more variety. I believe a mixed dozen was $13.75?

When I use to work out of the East L.A. office, I use to stop here on the way to work about once…read moreevery other week and purchase a variety of a dozen donuts and usually get myself a croissant with egg and cheese and bacon and ham. This place has a large selection of donuts and drinks. Sometimes if you don't see something then just asked cause usually the jam or custard filled donuts are in the back and they fill them per request, this way they are fresh. I am going to miss this place since I am now assigned to a different location. I highly recommend this place to others...

We step in the donut shop we smell the aroma of fresh donuts freshly made couple hours ago. We look at the display they a very good varieties of donuts especially our favorite apple fritter,we decided to get two for each of us. The staff was very helpful and nice and she grab the two apple fritter and put it in each own bag we pay were surprised it came to five dollar that's sweet. We notice the apple fritter were warm amazing but very tasty good.

From the donuts to the coffee. Granted I got there when it opened, but nonetheless all fresh! A lot of variety of sandwiches, soups, and smoothies. The person behind the counter was courteous and helpful. The atmosphere was that of an early morning donut shop where a lot of locals go to before work. Very standard. Most places that's when donuts are freshly made but this place wasn't that way. I got a dozen almond cookies and a dozen donut holes for 6$. I have to be honest and I feel bad for saying this, but they tasted pretty old. I actually didn't finish my donut holes. The almond cookies were good! Also the variety of choice was a bit scarce for donuts. The guy behind the counter was helpful and was fast in the service. The atmosphere of the place was well... kinda not the cleanest I've seen before. But it had people coming in and out while I was there, so it was a place that kept busy. I have to be honest, I don't think I'll be stopping by next time I'm in the area. Reason for the stars is that the guy was nice, family run, and plenty of parking.
