Came a few weeks ago for donuts. I've come in the past and my favorite was their blueberry donut and the tiger tail but they sold out by the time I got there which was around 4pm Their donuts are generally soft and good (~$23)

I love this shop. I love the ambiance and vibe here. I've been here two mornings in a row now and the service has been phenomenal. Just a short walk from where I'm working it's worth the walk up and back. It gets busy and has been during both of my visits. The service was fast and exceptional. The coffee and donuts have been fresh. I ordered the Vietnamese Chicken today which was way better than I expected. Very flavorful. The chicken was nice and sweet. It wasn't overcooked. I loved the vegetables. The roll was fresh. No complaints.

[ Food/Drinks ] Their donuts are really yummy and soft. They even had Dodgers donuts during the postseason, so I had to get it for my coworkers. I've also had their sausage, egg, cheese croissant sandwich and their El Burrito, both were delicious! For drinks, I've tried their matcha, thai tea with boba, and milk tea; they're all decent for a donut shop, I'd probably get the thai tea again, but without the boba. [ Service ] Customer service is amazing every time, everyone is really nice, even when they are super busy in the morning. There's 3 or 4 tables inside, but it's usually taken in the AM. [ Parking ] They have a decent parking lot, there's always space available when I go early in the morning.

Doughnuts were good. They had a lot of variety. I came on Thanksgiving and it was really busy. Service was quick with friendly staff.

I haven't updated my review of Pronto Donuts in a while. We ordered some sandwiches there on the weekend. Their menu is not only inclusive of donuts but also features a variety of options, including subs, burgers, sandwiches, pastries, and smoothies. We ordered sausage, egg & cheese croissant, fish burger, ham, egg & cheese croissants, and two orders of fries, one fresh orange juice, pineapple & coconut smoothie, etc. I liked my sausage, egg & cheese croissant. The size was big and it was delicious. My mom also liked her fish burger; it was different than the Filet-O-Fish at McDonald's. The fish was not fried, but it was grilled. The drinks were also refreshing, and I highly recommend the pineapple & coconut smoothie. Their interior is outdated, and the chairs are old, but their food is pretty good, and the price is very reasonable. P.S. They have grilled pork rice and grilled chicken rice on weekdays for only $9.99 each. I wanna try it next time.

This is my favorite donut shop. The customer service from the staff is always the best. The donuts are great but you definitely have to try their sandwiches. They have a variety of sandwiches including Vietnamese subs and American style subs. Their breakfast and iced coffees are also delicious so I could literally eat here all day.

What We Ordered: -Breakfast Burrito -Croissant Ham and Cheese One of my coworkers brought in a breakfast burrito and ham and cheese croissants. I've been here before to get some donuts for my son's teachers. It was nice to be able to try some other things from Pronto. I gotta say that the breakfast burrito was pretty good. I never had a fried egg in a breakfast burrito before. That was unique! It was pretty decent nevertheless! They have a spicy hot sauce! It was addicting and had a nice bite to it. I have a pretty high tolerance for spice, but this sauce had definite bite - beware haha! The Ham and Cheese Croissant was also pretty good. It was nice and cheesy. The Croissant was nice and soft, but flakey at the same time. I would definitely come back for either one. I especially like this hot sauce. Yum!

Your little friendly neighborhood donut shop! I used to see old men gathering at this place drinking coffee; I didnt see them today, but I always take that as a sign of good food/coffee. So in I went to get their iced coffee (it's Vietnamese coffee) and it was good! Not as strong as some that I've had, but good enough to kick your energy up. They also have other boba drinks, if coffee ain't your thing.

    Lotsa wonderful fresh donuts

Prontos has been around as long as I can remember. The donuts always taste great and the variety incorporates the standard styles as well as specialties like blueberry, strawberries and cream, tiger tails, and coconut cream. The blueberry which comes both in glazed and unglazed are some of our favorites. The tiger tail is a little extra crispy, super sugary, and take note that it's so long that it comes in a submarine sandwich sleeve. Honestly, I don't think we've ever had a subpar donut here. Our whole family loves not only their donuts but their sandwiches and burgers. They're fantastic for catering donuts or lunches for large groups as well and I highly recommend the breakfast croissants.

    Sugar Twist

The best sugar twists in town for me. Don't live in SGV anymore but had to stop and pick up a few. Don't sleep on their sandwiches either, really filling and flavorful with the spicy pepper sauce they give with them

You can phone in an order if you don't want to wait too long for large orders however, they are quick! Their donuts are great. If you're grabbing a lot, they're still good over night. They're not stale one bit and had a great texture, they stayed slightly crisp and wasn't soggy one bit. Sausage, Egg and Cheese Bagel- was great. Had 2 slices of sausages, bagel was firm but fluffy. They gave us chili oil that added the perfect amount of spice, savory and depth. El Burrito- had egg, cheese, sausage and hash brown. Much lighter than having it on a bagel. Both are great. They also give you a chili oil with this. Chicken Sub- baguette bread was light and airy. Chicken wasn't dry at all. Pickled veggies added the perfect texture. Strawberry Matcha- wasn't too sweet and the strawberries added a freshness to the matcha. Pineapple Coconut Smoothie- tastes like a Dole Whip! Came with a cute bear ears lid.

    Donuts

Amazing! The service was amazing, and the donuts? Oh god, just amazing! The shop gives off an old school vibe, just amazing. The donuts were light, and airy, and had just enough of that donut-ey feeling. 10/10 experience!

Just a plain coffee with cream and Splenda. It was decent. Didn't want to try their fancy stuff.

I'm from out of town and I was looking for a quick cup of coffee and a bite. I was going to go to the trendy coffee place across the street but saw Pronto Donuts instead. I was feeling a classic sausage egg and cheese croissant and it didn't not disappoint. It was so good and they gave me a cup of some Chili oil paste and man was it good and spicy! I'm glad I made the choice to stop by here instead. Gave me that nostalgia I didn't know I needed. Support your local mom and pop donut shop!

However, I went for a second time yesterday and was deeply disappointed. The owner wasn't there and instead a younger girl took my order and prepared the food. Everything seemed well and fine until I got home, opened my patty melt and found not 1 but 2 long hairs in my sandwich! They were clearly her hairs since she was the only one who handled my food. I went back and returned everything. I didn't see a hair in my other sandwich but couldn't even eat it without thinking what could be in each bite. The same girl was there when I returned and a young guy. I spoke with the guy and he gave me a refund right away and apologized. The girl who had made my food was maybe 5 feet away and couldn't even turn around to look at me or apologize. Very disappointing since the owner seemed like a nice guy who probably works extremely hard to build and maintain his business, only to have it ruined by some employee who couldn't even care enough to take 5 sec to put on a hair net. Shame on her.

We couldn't resist creating a 4-pack to take home. Love the cool wine cellar vibes The Heights has but for beer and yummy grub. For dinner, we ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza (cooked well done, my go to). Waiting for our order, I was this close to putting together another beer 4-pack, but I managed to resist! Our food came out quick, and we headed home (as fast as legally allowed ). The pizza was huge, flavorful, and super satisfying--even if it could've used a tiny bit more time in the oven for that extra "well-done" crisp. Regardless, we left stuffed and happy. It consisted of chicken, mozzarella, red peppers, pesto, and mixed greens. The greens were very fresh and the sandwich was packed with flavor. The chicken was a little dry but not a big deal. There was a lot of red pepper and it was a bit overwhelming so I wished there wasn't so much. Really enjoyed the pesto since it it wasn't too salty and was the cherry on top to the sandwich! I also really liked that the bread was soft and fresh. Got the "Not so Fried" Chicken Sandwich ($13.68) - 1/2 portion and it came with a side (paid extra $1.26) for tomato basil soup. It consisted of chicken, krispies, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes, onions, and herb aioli. The bread was very fresh and soft. I'm glad I got this in half portion because I thought this was just ok and nothing special. The tomato basil soup was very oily and salty so wasn't too enjoyable. The Pomegranate Mint Lemonade ($5.10) was sooo sweet. It was refreshing but the mint was a little too overpowering. Definitely recommend adding ice and/or water otherwise it's way too sweet! Overall, the sandwich and salads were a bit pricey but definitely one of the better spots for sandwiches and salads in terms of quality and quantity!
