This group has consistently refused to order bandages that I need. So far I have spent close to $800 or more on medicine and bandages that they should have been ordering for me. I tried to change to another home health care service and have so far been unable. I am continuing my search for a home health care service that actually does what they are supposed to do, follow doctor's orders, order and make sure supplies are delivered. Sooo disappointed in this group. The individual nurses are great, but the management has been putting up with the lack of bandages and supplies for a very very long time. read more

It's now been a week since we entered into home hospice with this company. I can't even begin to express how much these people have helped us. From Rose, the kindest nurse who is so compassionate and funny she just lifts us up, to the people who answer the phones. (YES, I DO BUG THEM!) Today I called with a whole to-do list, and the lady reassured me she would handle it all, and she did. The lady who bathes Mom...Rosalind...she's so gentle and sweet. And the social worker, Elise. She's so intuitive and gentle...yet all these people are real and down to earth. Mom is not long for this earth, and this is the hardest thing I've ever been through. This hospice company is incredibly incompetent and lacks compassion. They failed to give us appropriate information; failed to show up when they were supposed to show up at our mom's house to care for her; failed to order medicine in a timely manner; and failed to provide her with sufficient pain management to make her final days comfortable. If you love your loved one, run don't walk away from this company. There are a handful of wonderful employees however they are the vast minority of people employed here, and Cannot even begin to the gate that you're responsible calloused culture in this company. The physician has the bedside manner of the Marquee de Sade and hiring them as our mothers end of life caregivers was one of the biggest mistakes we've ever made. This low rating breaks my heart. The majority of the professional staff at Texas Home Health is good. However, the office staff sucks..says negative things about providers (inappropriately) and can't manage their way out of a paper bag. As a result, care is delayed. Shameful. read more

I have worked for this Hospice company for 6 years. The management team is always striving to keep up with changing technologies but the care we provide is still being done by real life human beings, in your home, even during Covid. Our brave clinical team with the use of PPE didn't shy away from providing Hospice care to all those in need. Every employer gets a bad apple every now and then. The current team of nurses at Texas Home Health Hospice are loving, caring individuals that help families deal with death and dying everyday. I appreciate each and everyone of them. read more

My parent was released from Acension Seton and was given a referral to Texas Home Health. Stephanie from Accucenture was professional and caring. After we spoke, someone for THH was supposed to setup an appointment to meet my mom and go over her care. Four days later NO CALL! I called and had to leave a message with their answering service and NO RETURN CALL. I realize the medical industy is unindated with the virus and other sick patients but a HOME HEALTH CO. should do better!! Not disappointed any longer because God didnt find them worthy and He provided a BETTER home health agent who actually cares about my mom. read more

My father has been receiving services from Texas Home Health for several months. The people who come to provide him services are really fantastic, but the management is absolutely not. The company has not communicated ONCE with my dad's doctor. They released him from services a month ago and neither the doctor nor I were notified (even though I have medical power of attorney and I was the one dealing with the company from the beginning). Texas Home Health really needs to step up their communication with doctors and family members. I would not recommend them to anyone, and I certainly won't ever use them again. read more

This organization is the most inept company I've had the misfortune to deal with. They were supposed to schedule an appointment with a physical therapist who would evaluate the safety of my home (prior to hip surgery). A week before the surgery I still had not been contacted to schedule an appointment. Friday morning I called and left my cell number as a contact. They called my home. By the time I got home from work and got the message, they were closed. I left a message with their answering service. They called Saturday morning and said I was on the schedule for that day( thanks for all the advance notice!). The therapist called about 30 minutes later and she said I was actually scheduled for Sunday at 11:15. Sunday came and due to no fault of the therapist, she had to cancel. I contacted Texas Home Health again, and they said my appointment had been rescheduled for Monday at 3 pm. Monday , 3 pm came and went with no sign of the therapist. At 3:20 I called and asked where the therapist was. At 3:30 the therapist called. She was off work Monday. No one had told her she had a scheduled appointment. At this point in time, my appointment has been rescheduled yet again for Tuesday at 2:30. Will anyone show up?? Your guess is as good as mine. I don't see how this company stays in business The therapist showed up on time. Was very professional. Watch out for these guys. They called me to get my insurance info under the guise of misidentification (similar name to provider I was already using). Then called to say they were out of network. Not until I called them and realized they were a different agency trying to "poach" clients from other agencies. Sketchy to say the least. read more

We had the pleasure of working with Texas Home Health on two different occasions and were consistently impressed by the caregivers we encountered. My mother benefited immensely from the physical therapy and occupational therapy she received. The caregivers were always great about communicating their schedules in advance of the visits. 3 different nurses couldn't get my wound vac sealed for 3 weeks. Never had a problem with it before with other nurses. Nurses not knowledgeable and give nothing, but excuses. Ot and Pt just come out and talk they didn't want to help with my goals. I would not recommend having them care for myself or my loved after my experience I had with their company. read more

This is one of the best home health services I have had the pleasure to experience. The Nurses ware caring and very helpful. The physical therapy department helped me so much. I am very grateful to have heard about this service. I only had to have them for a short time to get the medications I needed adjusted and therapy after my mini-stroke. They called to schedule my time the day or evening before they came. They helped me with supplies and learning about the services through one of their social workers. I had to call three times to find our where the bather was, the it, or pt . The social worker was a joke he offered no suggestions for care .
