We bought a Land Rover from TMC and it was apparently in great shape. The car was parked in the very back which we found strange but since they told us it was because they were cleaning the car we took it in consideration. They actually have their mechanics in the back... start gathering the puzzle! He offered many options of financing but at the end of the day they were all the same! Long story short we ended up buying the car and once we got home, we noticed hail damage on the car (our fault to not look attentive before ). Well, 4 months later we took it to do preventive maintenance and our mechanic found out that the valve cover was broken (intentionally) to remove extra pressure from the engine. We took it to the dealership and they confirmed the diagnosis. We text and called Tmc but no response at all! Total rip off!! In conclusion, we bought a hail damage car with a damaged valve cover which resulted damage on the car - total cost to fix: $12.000,00 yes 12 thousand. Stay way or try your luck! read more

If it was possible to give less than 1 star, I would. This place without a doubt sold me a 'lemon' vehicle. They cleared all the check engine codes before selling to me. Anytime a code 'popped' up during the buying process they assured me it was something 'easy to fix' and lie about what it actually was. Here I am 4 and 1/2 months into the purchase of the vehicle and I'm out of pocket well over $3-$4,000. The mechanics I have taken my car to agree that this company knew of all the issues and cleared the codes before selling it. These people are con artists and thief's. I will do everything in my power to make sure they don't rip off someone else...like they did me. There was a brief response to online reviews but the owner, Omar, wanted to 'figure it out' over the phone, not respond in writing to any requests. Not really willing to risk any verbal agreements at this point. We currently have the vehicle back from the shop (and had to pay additional money to that merchant), sitting out front, unable to pass inspection. We asked TMC to either pay for repairs to allow the vehicle to pass inspection or come take it back and refund our money. Again, no response. No response to Better Business Bureau complaint either. Run do not walk to get away from this crooked dealership!!!!! They will put you in a car that they want to get rid of and tell you that you don't "qualify " for anything else. I had a 2008 Volvo I had signed contracts on and after trying to make a payment they told me to bring it back. I tried several times to get the "funding co" to take a payment. I had several conversations with Vehicle Solutions who I told was the funding company and had approved me. They said my paperwork was in a stack and the guy was behind. Car Club took it upon themselves to say they couldn't reach me and towed the Volvo in. It was less than a quarter of a mile from them. I was visiting my Mom in a Nursing Home and they came down with a wrecker and towed it. I had tried to make payment with the funding company because the car dealership seemed to get shadier every time I dealt with them. Now I'm not sure which one of them is worse! The dealership said one thing and the funding co said another. But the dealership did try to charge me for the tow which was 300.00 dollars. They have bled me dry and I still don't have a car! They did give me a loaner but it was in bad shape. The state of Texas occc says the funding company is not licensed in the state of Texas. Go figure. Please please stay away from there or you will end up like me with no money and no car. There is a lot more to all of this but I will save that for the Attorney. read more

This has been one of the greatest experience ive had so far dealing with a used car dealer. The description and detailed info I received on the first phone call with Zack was enough to give me a good picture of the car's condition. Everything was so smooth when I got there. I test drove the car. We had the approval and numbers discussed already. I signed the paperwork and I was out in less than an hour. Great customer service. Zack and Omar were sharp and very friendly. Family owned and ran, really nice building and office. It was just a really pleasant experience overall. Do you like to be lied to and told they know how to make a vehicle pass inspection without the proper repairs. Then this would be your dealership! They claim to have a in house 90 power train warranty on all vehicles they sale. This is their big selling point! But have issues and they will lie to you about the amount they had to pay in repairs and keep your car unless you pay for the repairs! The vehicles look nice and clean, but not only have I had issues over the last 3 months after purchase, but I have seen NUMEROUS people bring their vehicles back with issues and get the same run around. read more

Based on other reviews I read, I'm actually glad the salesperson did nothing to help us! We went in about a truck and after about 10 min of him trying to turn it on all he said was "I don't know how to do it." Mind you mechanics were right there in the garage to help. So we see another one and ask to see it and he says "well that one's going to be the same thing." Didn't even open it for us to look inside or anything he asked us to go back a different day. He didn't even ask our names, didn't get our phone number to reach out when they were ready or anything. I'm not sure the words cheat or dishonest really do this place justice. My fiancé was looking at a car here and had decided to make a purchase and do the paperwork for a specific car. When filling everything out he noticed they had added $2,000 to the asking price of the car. When he asked why the numbers were incorrect, they informed him it was a FIRST TIME BUYERS FEE. My fiancé told the lady in the office he hadn't heard of any fees like that and when she called the sales agent in, he started a yelling match with another employee and quit (wtf?). Since his agent was no longer available the lady called in a manager. After going around and around with the manager she eventually came back and informed him that they would "waive the fee" however, the ONLY person who could write contracts apparently was out of the country and it would be Friday before they could rewrite the paperwork (no one has been able to explain to me how they are selling cars without someone who could write up paperwork but whatever). My fiancé left when they couldn't help him and was told that they were not going to be able to hold the car until Friday without holding on to his down payment. After coming home and thinking on it all he decided to go back today to get all his money back and go elsewhere because of all the trouble. They refused to give back the $2,000 he paid in cash because they apparently could not get ahold of the general manager who had the cash in a private safe in his office. The situation escalated to the point of my fiancé being kicked out without a refund. My fiancé proceeded to call the police to handle the situation. What a miracle! As soon as the police showed up, so did the general manager who no one could get ahold of before. He did eventually get his money back but only after one of the worst experiences in car sales history. Horrible customer service. I accidentally left the vehicle tag and toll tag on the vehicle I traded in. Called and cancelled the toll tag within a few days, but in that time they still managed to rack up a toll bill that they are refusing to pay after sending them everything they asked for as proof. Additionally they even got a parking ticket with my tag that I disputed with the city of Fort worth. Today I saw the vehicle parked on my way to run an errand with the tag they claimed to have taken off the vehicle. Go there at your own risk!! read more

I purchased a car in July/August of 2017 from Texas Motor Club. On January 2nd the car overheated and stopped working on George bush highway while my boyfriend was driving. We were able to use insurance and have it towed to the nearest dodge dealership with the expectation that it was covered under power train warranty. Well the shop found that engine had water damage. We filed an insurance claim. Throughout the insurance process we were informed of multiple things. They stated that the engine in the car belonged to another model, along with the Ac unit and all of the hoses. They also informed us that water was shooting into the air when the car was disassembled for the replacement engine. The dealership told us that it was obvious the vehicle was in a flood due to the extent of the damages. When purchasing the car I noticed that the passenger side door was not properly attached. The salesman Omar, stated they'll fix it. It has not been fixed. Omar, also stated they would provide us with the original wheels for the car. They have not been provided. Since purchasing the car often riding in the passager seat I have found that the seat actually moves back and forth. I attempted to reach out to Omar who stated he doesn't remember the sale of the car, who hung up in my face after yelling and told me to no call him. The salesman has had multiple contacts with my boyfriend about the wheels so he's obviously lying about not remembering. read more

I purchased a car In January 2018, it is now April. I have not been able to get tags for the car. I was told that the title was lost and they would email me another paper plate. Zack Irdie was our salesperson who was really nice when we came in to buy the car. When we called to ask about the title he was not friendly at all and even said "his time is valuable and he does not have time for this nonsense". He completely dismissed me on the phone and reacted as if I were calling and complaining, when I was trying to tell him the paper plate needed to be resent, one of the letters was not showing up when it was emailed to us. He kept saying he sent it already and would not listen when I was calling about something so simple, it was really strange how angry he acted. I have to say of all the cars my husband and I have purchased over the years. This was the biggest disappointment due to the ugliness of the sales person after the purchase. I found TMC online looking for a fifth gen Chevy Corvette. Of course as most people do I read a plethora of their reviews trying to weave out the bull crap and save myself some time and money. Finally a couple weeks ago I decided that it was worth a shot. From the moment I walked in I felt good vibes though it could have been because I was as giddy as a school girl as my vette was sitting right in the front lot all shiny and ready to go. Robbie was the first guy I met real cool dude, we talked for a bit about what I wanted what I wanted to pay ect... Right off the bat before even talking to his financing department (AKA) Omar, I was told that he could get the deal done on my vette with the down payment that I wanted as well as monthly payments. Okay now of course I was more then a little skeptical at that point, I mean how many times have I been told yes yes yes by the sales Rep at bigger lots only to be denied by financing and offered some back of the wall deal on a car that I consider taking just so I won't feel like I'm leaving with nothing and so that the dealer could make a buck. Low and behold though I really was in fact APPROVED for my sweet ride and I'm happy to say that I lived happily ever after....for about three hours until my vette went into limp mode. Now I'm pissed at myself thinking I knew this was to good to be true I'm gonna be out all this money because I signed a contract blah blah blah right. Wrong!!! I look on the card that they give out to all that comes in their doors and low and behold like a true friend their personal cell phone numbers are at the bottom of the cards. I call Omar up at what had to be 10 p.m. at night well after their closing hours and explained to him what happend. He actually apologizes to me even though it was clearly a fluke of the car, asks my location and sends me a tow truck on his dime as well as having me a loaner car waiting for me the next day which was actually how I met the last brother A.J. who was nice enough to fuel up the loaner for me and make sure everthing was good on it. Once my car was near ready I was on the lot waiting for them to finish up and saw a very nice 5 series BMW sitting almost where I first saw my vette. I asked them about it test drove it decided that I wanted it more and well, not only where they able and willing to reveres the deal on my vette, but they actually gave me money back as the BMW was 1k cheaper then the vette. These guys will bend over backwards if that's what it will take to please you and I'm not just referring to the three amazing brothers but to the entire staff including there father who is the owner. He could be a million other places vacationing and enjoying our hard earned money but no, instead most days you will find him right along side his sons and the rest of their staff making sure the needs of their friends are met to the best of their ability. So I conclude with this, if your in the market for a dependable used vehicle, professional and trust worthy service you really can't afford to not check TMC out. Stay away as soon as I left the lot my truck lights all came on plus I took it back they claimed the fixed the problem however the problems still exist plus all I get is oh we will fix it when I complained about them not fixing it and the fact that the the odometer has been set back on my truck its a lot of fraud going on here.
