My boyfriend and I came here tonight and had such a great experience. We did have about a 30 minute wait, but once we got seated everything was smooth and absolutely worth it. Our server, Lily D, was amazing, super attentive, fast, friendly, and always checking in on us without being overwhelming. The food and service both came out quickly which we really appreciated. One thing that really stood out was the manager, Sheabrea. Our server asked if it was our first time here and I mentioned my boyfriend hadn't been since he was around 12. Shortly after, Sheabrea came over so kindly and brought us free samples of some sides to try. That small gesture honestly made the experience feel so welcoming and personal. Overall the staff here went above and beyond and made dinner feel special. Great food, amazing service, and such a friendly atmosphere. I have to admit, I was a bit critical of how good a chain steakhouse could be and I was glad to be surprised by how good the meal was. For appetizers, we got the rattlesnake bites - delicious fried balls of spicy cheese. I will definitely get those again. We ordered steaks and chicken tenders for our mains. I love that they come with generous two sides. Even the salads were a hearty serving and the veggies tasted really fresh. The steaks were seasoned very well and cooked perfectly (for the most part). One of our steaks wasn't quite cooked to the temp they asked for, but it was fine. Our server was great. Very friendly and attentive. We had two birthdays at our table and they really brought the energy to celebrate (and embarrass them a little). What doesn't make this a perfect 5-star is how the servers rush you a little in the beginning. They even talk fast. Ordered 14 oz prime rib and the first one was half fat. Sent it back and they sent another out, still half fat. Manager said some people like the fat. That's why they order prime rib. Totally unacceptable for 33 dollar piece of meat. Should've sent it back again and ordered something else. They took 3 dollars off and carried the fat back to the kitchen to show the chef. This location has consistently delivered and we had a really good time here last Saturday after archery. It's always busy here, even at senior hour at 4PM. Lily took cared of us, checked in on us just enough times and provided great service. Food is always delicious, beautifully seasoned. Sometimes it can be slightly overdone to what I like so instead of medium now, I order my steak medium rare. I don't mind a little more than pink centered if it was done to the exact temp either. we went in no waiting so thats not bad but we did not order drinks so the woke waitress and entire staff of kids left uo for 30 minutes, when the dei hire took our order naturally she mixed up the cooking insructions making my steak raw and hers over cooked. so my wife got a new one that too another 30 minutes and they took mine back to cook it another 15 minutes alt least now since my steak was cut into it bled out on the grill where it was charred black in direct flame not good and highly cancerous blacken burnt dried out meat all juices gone because of the cut in the steak to check if it was cooked correctly and it wasnt now i have a dead piece of meat im starving by now i cut all the blackened meat off i could ate it and was still pissed for 2 days after that. dont go there the kids are incompetent. so the manager gave us a new hot potato but a old steak. no good! read more

We went to Texas roadhouse for something different..... and close to home. . We managed to get seated right away, which was amazing. They a bag of peanuts in a bucket on the table so that you could enjoy while you were waiting for your food. It's always a good time people laughing people, talking TVs on. We just walked out. When we checked in we were told it would be a 10-20 minute wait. Less than 10 minutes in we received a text to ask us to come to the front as we would be seated next. After another 25 minutes went by we asked again about being seated; the computer went down and they weren't able to seat anyone. As we left my brother told her we were leaving. I enjoy this place as the steaks are great and the service is on point. I sit at the bar to enjoy the sports and the ambiance. The servers are the bartenders so they take great care of you. They make great recommendations and always deliver on what they suggest. I like that they offer Prime Rib nightly. It's a great option but my go to is the NY pick your sides and you're on your way. The food was what one would expect from a chain steakhouse. My frustration was that they tried to tell me the beer I ordered was a Sam Adams Winter Lager when it clearly was not, but rather was some fruity IPA. Then I tried to order a hamburger patty for my ESA but they said they couldn't ring it up unless I ordered a hamburger (I had been doing this for years with my prior ESA). Then the manager asked for our feedback but couldn't be bothered to listen and was only anxious to get away from the table. No apologies, just "too bad, not our problem." Probably the least consistent Texas Roadhouse I've ever been to. One time they gave me a 6oz filet when I ordered an 8 oz. It took so long to finally get switched that I wasn't hungry anymore. Another time the server forgot to ask me how I wanted the steak cooked then they gave it to me well done and super dry. Again, they took so long to make it right that I wasn't hungry anymore. Prime Rib- Epic fail. What a bummer. I arrived at the opening, Sunday morning and when I went to order my prime rib I was informed that it would not be ready for another hour. I was so looking forward to this. All other steaks were available, but I was only interested in the Prime Rib. I requested to speak to a manager. I very cordially asked what was up. Alright, I had the best time at Texas Roadhouse! There's something about the ambience that brings me right back to childhood and that feeling of being so giddy about eating out or having a night out on the town! :) Anywho, the service for lunch was excellent. Our server made sure we were always fully stocked with our beverages and complimentary rolls with cinnamon honey butter. If nothing else, come out and try the rolls! They're addictive and I loved every bite! The cactus blossom was crispy and not overly seasoned or greasy! Perhaps the best "blooming onion" out there! Okay, so my baked potato was realllyyyy salted! This was my first time out of Texas roadhouse as it is not my common dining scene preference however, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience For the price I'm really happy with the steak, the side of vegetables and the Caesar salad. The pork chop was really mediocre and personally I I didn't find anything special about the cinnamon rolls either - I know this is a hot take because I've heard many people praising the rolls I will definitely come back next time on a road trip or if I'm just passing by. As a guest of TR, we had the worst service possible. Called ahead to be on list. Not a problem other than the person on end of phone couldn't understand what I was saying. 2nd, we arrived, and things were ok, until they seating time came. The kid wanted to sit us at a table for 8, THERES only 4 of us. So, I asked if we could just sit at the table directly across, next to the 8top. So, he said sure and at us there. We sat there for roughly 20-25 minutes with MULTIPLE workers just walking by never acknowledge the fact we were there. Finally, a hostess came to the table and said this table was closed. And that there was no one available for this table. You'd have to see exactly where we were to understand why this was so difficult for them. And confusing to us. Then someone else came over to tell us this table was closed, I assume the manager, she never mentioned. Only to reinforce that this table is closed, we shouldn't be sitting here. We didn't seat ourselves, the host person did. Tried to explain that we'd move since this was obvs a problem. We ended up being there for over two hours. Our food always was amazing but one dish was a little more on the rare side than my friend liked and she took initiative to make sure to get the food done right so quick! We were staying in Golden and I wanted comfort food. I don't understand why this place had such a low rating. It's my first time at a Texas Roadhouse, so I cannot compare. I do know now to add yourself to the wait list before coming, otherwise it was an hour's wait on a Saturday night. I'm docking one star because I was told 45 minutes to an hour, and lucky I clocked it. After 45 minutes I went back to the hostess station to check on my wait. We went to dinner for my husband's birthday, there were 5of us and we went on Sunday afternoon at 4:30. Place was packed, long story short they forgot one of our entries. We came here on a Friday evening as a group of six and found the place to be packed. Nonetheless, we didn't have to wait very long and was seated almost immediately. Wow! Other places make you wait even though they seemingly have the room. Here, they'll get you something at the bat of an eye. As the host brought us to our table, we walked by a rare meat display case where people can choose a cut of meat to be cooked and eaten. What a cool concept! We were seated on an extra large booth, which we found spacious and comfortable, even for six people. (They know how to make their furniture I guess.) It didn't take long for our waiter to come and ask us for drinks and eventually get our rolls with sweet butter. The rolls were scrumptious - freshly baked and quite decadent when coupled with their signature butter. I ended up indulging on them and was almost too full for the actual meal itself :) They soon brought over waters for us, which were all served with lemon. I chose the salmon dish, which was tasty, along with seasoned rice and a baked potato. They were cooked just right. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their food as well. As we dined, someone had a birthday and the staff drew our attention as the recipient got a mini celebration, along with a saddle to sit on. It's been many years since I last went to Texas Roadhouse, but I found the place to be just as lively and upbeat as it was then. It's a perfect place to come and unwind on a weekend after a busy week, or a great place to meet up with friends and receive top-notch customer service. Despite the popularity of the place, we were never ignored. The waiter continued to ask if we needed anything, and even the manager came to talk to us. In addition, our food didn't take too long and all of it came out at the same time. They sure know how to do their service right! From the rustic, unpretentious charm of the decor to the modern, up-to-date system that allowed people to conveniently pay their tab right off the table, I found this restaurant to be worthy of 5+ stars. I've been coming to this location for a while now. There is a reason I am a regular customer. Obviously, expecting $200+ quality steaks here is ridiculous. With that being said, for the price paid, the food here is great. I've never really had anything to complain about. Especially with the unlimited bread and butter that is delicious! But what drives this 5-star review is not the food but the service. Every single time I've been here, the servers have been top notch. Whether there are only a few tables occupied or the place is packed, I've always felt taken care of and never had to wait too long for anything. Something is off with this location over the last few months. In the past things were amazing across the board. However, things have really gone downhill quickly in many ways as we've been 2x in last couple months and haven't had a positive experience. Both times the food took much longer than usual, and once the food did arrive it was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out a while. Ordered the prime rib medium rare and it came out below rare and I usually order my meat one level under because the last few times I have come here, it has been overcooked. I do not like sending food back but did and it literally took 5 minutes to get back. The kids had eaten all their dinner before I even got my prime rib back. The manager brought it out, not sure if she even apologized and asked if it was fine. From what I saw it was, but in reality this second one was worse than the first one (was raw in a good chunk of the meat, that I had not initially seen). I told the manager and she could care less that it was raw, didn't even acknowledge this fact and went and grabbed me my box so I could give this poor cow a decent burial (or should I say cooking) at home. I have given this location more than numerous chances and they just seem to get worse and worse and with tonight's adventure, they are on the permanent banned list.
