We ordered delivery from this location, and when the delivery driver had not picked up our order and claimed car problems, the general manager took it upon himself to remake our order, (as it had been an hour since we ordered) and delivered the order himself. The food was incredibly average. The Rice and the pulled chicken from the taco was pretty dry and lacked in flavor. The beef enchilada and Chile relleno was pretty good and cooked well. The large combo was a pretty big portion as well, you could split the meal into two easily. I also had a Cadillac margarita and it was okay, not worth the $12. The service was pretty great, waiter and even the manager asked me how I was doing and made sure I was having a good experience so that was great. We come here more often than I'd like because my boyfriend was obsessed with El Nopal in Louisville KY and this place is closest to that for him lol. I think it's a perfectly fine meal every time. Their margaritas are definitely on point! The Grande size is indeed MASSIVE. Great cocktail + beer menu. All of our waiters have been super friendly and we've gotten great service during every visit. The women at the host stand are always very welcoming as well. They bring out complimentary chips and salsa to start the meal. Great salsa with herbs and tiny bit of heat. Menu has something for everyone, including your weird relative who will want a cheeseburger. We see big families here all the time and it seems they can easily accommodate for groups of 10-20. BFs go to: cheese enchiladas divorciadas plate (covered w/ 1/2 green sauce, 1/2 red sauce) or the Express Vegetarian Burrito. My go to: unsure of the name but it's a shrimp dish with potatoes/onions/peppers cooked in a red sauce. Incredibly good. The shrimp fajitas are really good as well. Fish tacos suck, though. I'd recommend using cod instead of tilapia but i'm also just a huge tilapia hater.. Anyway! We were catered to very well by the server who kept our drinks filled without being asked as well as clearing empty plates. Prices were industry standard. Our waitress took our drink order right away with a smile. Complimentary chips and salsa. To drink I had an Agua Fresca de Piña or pineapple i fused water. It wasn't as sweet as I am used to but tasty nevertheless. We were pleasantly surprised to realize we had barely made it to enjoy their hand-made tortilla special on Sunday evenings. The tortillas were literally being made from scratch by a lady standing in a small booth near the entrance. The tortillas were hot, thick and delicious with that home cooked flavor. Wow. Way to screw over one of your long-time customers. I love this restaurant so much I've even had several birthday dinners here. The pescado culichi is my favorite Mexican dish anywhere. Well, upon arriving home, we got a good look at what you had served us we were severely disappointed. The portions were absolutely tiny. A major disappointment for my two brothers who had to share the chicken dish. As for the FISH dish that I ordered, turns out they served me not my favorite fish--but chicken. Dry, tough chicken that I couldn't even eat. To add insult to injury, there were not even any poblanos for me to enjoy. Total fail. So much for this special treat. I also had to come home and cook more food to feed the brothers; completely nullifying why I even came to your restaurant in the first place. I spent $45+ dollars to feel duped. I have a few questions for you.. Why are you serving tiny portions yet still charging the same? Why did you charge me for fish but then give me chicken? If you didn't have fish why wouldn't you just say that? We're you hoping I wouldn't notice or wouldn't care? Was the fish already put away for the night and your cook felt justified to take the easy route and serve me chicken anyway? Can I have a refund? Or better yet can you please make this right by serving me a traditional portion of my favorite-mexican-dish-ever so I can have a freaking enjoyable break from my kitchen responsibilities? I've been attempting to contact a manager or the main office since January 21st when my to-do order for 3 vegetarian meals came with loads of chicken inside. I called to ask for a replacement and was told no. All they could do was contact the main office to issue a refund on my behalf. So on top of everything else, 2 hours later I then still needed to find dinner for my family. I've now called every other week for 6 weeks. Each time, I've been told that I cannot contact the main office directly and it will be handled. If you call right now and ask for a manager, you will be told there is no one in charge until 5pm. So what gives? There is no one in charge? No one that can issue a refund? No way to contact anyone with any authority? Am I just being ignored thinking that I'll give up on the $52.50 owed? read more

Ordered To-go and order was completely incorrect. I called to notify the restaurant and the hostess said she was sorry and would make it again for free. I was under the impression that "free" meant a refund for the inconvenience. I already paid for the order it's not free. I drove back again from Golden only for the hostess and server to refuse my refund request. They clarified that free meant they would make it again for no charge. Which makes no sense since I paid for the correct food and brought the wrong food back. Hostess even said I would want a refund also for driving twice. Hostess and server were going back and forth on how to proceed while arguing in Spanish. I speak fluent Spanish and the server was very mad that the hostess mentioned any type of refund. Hostess even told server it's the right thing to do since I drove twice from Golden. Server called Eric (assuming manger or owner) to approve my refund request and it was denied.
