Something is off with this location over the last few months. In the past things were amazing across the board. However, things have really gone downhill quickly in many ways as we've been 2x in last couple months and haven't had a positive experience. Both times the food took much longer than usual, and once the food did arrive it was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out a while. This is the last time I eat at this location, but I did not let it ruin my birthday! Ordered the prime rib medium rare and it came out below rare and I usually order my meat one level under because the last few times I have come here, it has been overcooked. I do not like sending food back but did and it literally took 5 minutes to get back. The kids had eaten all their dinner before I even got my prime rib back. The manager brought it out, not sure if she even apologized and asked if it was fine. From what I saw it was, but in reality this second one was worse than the first one (was raw in a good chunk of the meat, that I had not initially seen). I told the manager and she could care less that it was raw, didn't even acknowledge this fact and went and grabbed me my box so I could give this poor cow a decent burial (or should I say cooking) at home. I have given this location more than numerous chances and they just seem to get worse and worse and with tonight's adventure, they are on the permanent banned list. Purchase meat and cook it at home people, this is what I told my kids to do for me from here on forward. Right after checking into my hotel, I popped across the street to have a steak at Texas Road House. I truly enjoy this chain and prefer it over Outback. This evening my food was good not great since my ribeye was more medium than medium rare and my mixed vegetables had a strange flavor that I cant quite explain, just off. On the other hand my caesar salad was loaded with caesar dressing. I lloovvee lot's of dressing. My server "Bright" was on top of things. He checked in pretty regularly to make sure I was doing ok. We always have a nice meal here. We order a lot of different things from chicken, pork chops to steak. We love the sides that are offered and of course the bread and cinnamon spread is yummy. Service is usually pretty good and the tables clean. If you don't get a booth, it seems pretty crowded as tables are really close together. Could do without the dessert, as "it's just a brownie and whipped cream with chocolate syrup on top" according to the server Lilly. Groundbreaking technique of service. Carry on. The fact that it was mentioned during the beginning of the service casually saying "hey it's our friends birthday". And ignored. Throughout the remainder of the dinner. It was brought up again at the end after being rushed out, "hey it's her birthday, do you guys still sing or anything?" The last few times we have gone to dinner, the experience has been underwhelming. Last night (9/20/25), was awful from start to finish. When we arrived, we were asked if we preferred a booth or table. I said booth. We were sat at a table for two but it was wedged into two large groups. I asked if there was a booth. The restaurant was about 2/3 full. The happily moved us. However, (and I wish I had taken a picture) the booth was destroyed. The seat cushion on one side was ripped from one end to the other (long ways). The other, had no cushion. We waited about 45 minutes for food. When the food arrived, (filet and kabob) they were extremely overcooked (both ordered medium rare). The vegetables on the kabob were unrecognizable. And there was only 4 or 5 pieces. I can only assume the majority of the vegetables were burned even more so and not plated. When we were asked if we wanted new dinners, we said we didn't have time to wait again. They took $10 off the bill. I have no idea where that dollar amount came from. We had two dinners that were inedible and left on the plate. We should have paid for the one salad and drinks (tea). Hell, I would have been happy to pay for the mashed potatoes (half eaten) and french fries (mostly eaten) This was a complete fail. And a gigantic waste of $50 read more

This place was insane. While we were eating my boyfriend's car was in a hit and run. Someone completely rammed the left side of his car and we asked if we could see camera footage to get the license plate. When we ask the manager she says there are no cameras on the side of parking lot where we parked. When we actually went outside to check for ourselves there were two cameras right there. She also didn't even bother to try and check any footage they had in general she just gave us an emergency claim hotline number. Super sketchy. Unprofessional and completely disregarding. This was my 2nd visit in 2 months. Today is Feb 5th, 2025. I was seated in less than 5 min at 4 pm. I waited probably 8-10 min before anyone even asked me anything. Finally I got a waiter that was very kind but distracted. I asked what the special was and he pointed towards the ceiling and said sirloin, 1.00 off! Not mush selling points but I decided on a sirloin country fried with brown grave, mashed potatoes, corn and a coke! It was not busy and earlier than the dinner crowd, but waited 20 min for the food. I was able to eat the buns before any order arrived. 2 bites and I was over it. I never had a steak so tough at a Texas Roadhouse. My waiter wasn't around so I flagged a floor manager. Absolute top tier service. We came in tonight with a party of 15; and we had a little bit of wait. I asked if I could get some rolls for my pregnant wife and the manager immediately grabbed it for us. Additionally, after being sat the manager got us free onion rings. The attention to detail the manager provided was beyond exceptional. The server we had also was on top of everything with a party of 15 + he had 2 other tables. Food was really good as well! We have come to expect the food, and service to be took notch @ Texas Roadhouses,and this franchise did not disappoint. Our server Kassie was just great, and when we had mentioned that one of the margaritas that we were ordering should be a little light on the spirits, Dusty, one of the bartenders, came over to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, such a nice touch for this T R located in Arvada Co. Will be back because I do love a good steak and margarita. I will say you won't find this quality steak at this price point at many other places. However the service is more 2-1 star. Every time I come in I'm never greeted I'm usually standing there waiting for one of the many host to acknowledge me which makes things a little awkward. Picked up takeout from the Arvada location yesterday for my best friend's birthday.. she loves the critter salad and ribs.... Sooooo underwhelmed! The salad was fine, but it is hard to mess up a salad.. the ribs were overcooked and dry with little sauce. We ordered sweet potatoes with the ribs that were totally overcooked... they also didn't get the entire order correct, items missing. Oh well.... I love this place like most. I've been to this location multiple times. I typically go to the bar for a couple drinks and order to go. On three occasions now, I've gotten my food served dine in. Just the appetizers and I mention it's supposed to be to go. I box it up up and it gets cold while I wait for the entrees. I still tip 20-25% cause that's right, but I don't understand the mix ups. Am I doing something wrong as a customer ordering to go at the bar? Figure I'm in and out that way and the bar tender gets the benefit of the tip off the total. Can't say I'll be back a fourth time. The casual dining experience here has changed, but it's still good and a treat to eat out again. ARRIVAL: You'll notice changes as soon as you arrive. The check-in podium has been moved outside and once you check in and provide your phone number, you're encouraged to wait in your car until they call you back. There are benches near the door, but those are for guests next up and they're sanitized between customers. The waiting room inside has been converted to a dining area so that they can get more tables in. A few tables have even been set up outside in the parking lot. Our wait was quoted at 20-30 minutes but we were pleased to be texted back in just 10. TABLE: Your turn has arrived? You'll be greeted by a mask-wearing team member who will take you quickly to your table with no chit-chat. Along the way, notice that every other table is closed off. They've done a great job by decorating the empties so that they aren't just taped off or stacked with chairs. The tables no longer have any shared items, so you won't find menus, salt & pepper, steak sauce, etc. once you sit down. Menus are now accessed via your phone by scanning a barcode or logging on to your Texas Roadhouse app. I'm not sure what happens if you don't have a phone handy. SERVICE: Our mask-wearing server arrived quickly and stood on the sticker a few feet away from the table. She explained the new process to us, but here is where the masks were a little clunky. It was a little hard to understand her at times. Throughout our meal, service was quick, friendly, and attentive and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Except for the salads, all food was delivered on one plate. I had the steak and rib combo and the ribs were placed on top of the steak, instead of on a side plate as before. At only 50% capacity, they really need to turn the tables and make room for other diners so they are trying anything to keep it simple. But don't worry - you won't feel rushed. As for condiments, I asked for salt, pepper, and sauce and was quickly brought some disposable packets. FOOD: I ordered a steak and rib combo with a salad and veggie side. Portion was perfect and my steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. A nice juicy pink center and delicious charred outside. The ribs were melt-in-your mouth great. The second steak we ordered unfortunately wasn't as good. It was also supposed to be medium rare but it arrived cooked through with no pink at all. We could have sent it back and they would gladly replace, but ate it as-is. Flavor was good. PAYMENT: You can still pay the server at your table. I opted to pay on my phone and scanned the bar code on the receipt, popped in my credit card number and tip amount, and confirmed. It was dead easy and I think I actually prefer something like that. Do wait for your confirmation before jumping off the table, though. My transaction was initially declined due to fraud protection from my card issuer, but was quickly reprocessed when I confirmed it was valid. MY CONCLUSION: It's not the same upbeat casual dining experience that I've loved at Texas Roadhouse. The dining room is not crowded (a good thing) so you won't get the energetic fun around you. However, it's the closest they could come in the current situation and we quite enjoyed it. Hopefully the restrictions will gradually loosen and they'll get back to their normal offering at some point. Until then, give them a try and ease back into dining out again. You'll like how they're trying to adapt and keep your meal experience fun and good. read more

Wow! Haven't been here in about 6 months. We like to go early just because the place gets packed! Our server was Ricky. Nice guy very attentive got all our little asks taken care of. The filet was cooked perfect! Our appetizer took about 5 minutes more than usual and George the Manager said it was on him he thought it was too long. I didn't think it was necessary but awesome. We are fairly regular customers at this location because the food and prices are good. A few things we have noticed lately. The servers always say while waiting for your drinks the bartenders are backed up. This has been going on for years. If you order another drink when your meal is served it probably will not make it to your table for 10-15 minutes, when you are done or almost done with your meal. Why if the bartenders are so busy don't you put on an extra bartender to help with dining tickets. Last night we were told by our server to pay our bill on the self service terminal system on the table. We are a little older and would rather get a printed bill and pay the server. In that way we could see our bill and hand her not only the money but also her tip. When we asked her if we could do that she said we could but she is busy with other things and it would take a lot longer!!! Service was good up until that answer!!! read more

Why though?! So we wait, we're in the way of everyone as they told us to come inside, and then the "booth" we're waiting for?? Oh it's just a regular booth with a tiny table they put next to it... Again why. There were 5-7 employees at the host stands just confused... Next time under promise and over deliver... Manager never came to our table (even though it's obligatory at Texas) and 3/8 of our steaks were cooked way over done. I went to this restaurant last month for my sister's birthday.there were 9 of us. They set us at 2 different tables which they did the best they could do. 2 different servers but yet wanted to charge us the tip for large party. The steak was very thin so it cooked to fast and was not medium the way I ordered. The other half of us were served their salads and ours came about 25 min later. The only child in our group who order the kids chicken I believe it was was not served his food until we were all done eating our full meals and it was even after that. My sons Hamburger who is very picky and likes his hamburger well done.. no pink at all. His was about medium rare to medium. So he did not tough it but doesn't like to complain and my sister had already done enough. Our waitress at the end was kinda rude and would not even come to our table anymore. Oh and my steak and my nieces steak were all not even seasoned. I don't write negative reviews to often but this was just one thing after another. Oh we did not send our steaks back either but my sister did complain about them. They were very busy. Extremely busy but this all was to much. Will not eat at that one again. They are pretty solid and consistent, as far as I've ever experienced. This trip was a bit better though. Our server was Devon. Thought I would update my review if this establishment since it's been a few years. Let me start off by saying that I love having the option of getting on the waitlist via the app. It is so convenient and easy to use. I'd much rather wait in my car than in a crowded area by the doors. We have always been seated within 20 min of putting our name on the waitlist. This last time, our waitress was cheerful and prompt. Our order was com correct and complete. I got the 6 oz sirloin with ribs. My sides were a side salad and a cup of chili. They have the best salads! They are always fresh and I love how they have eggs and croutons on them. The ribs are so incredibly tender and delicious. That's saying a lot considering I work in a BBQ restaurant where we specialize in ribs. My steak was cooked perfectly as well. The portions were big so we of course had leftovers. The chili is usually really good, but tonight it was just ok. I like how it comes with crackers, cheese, and onions. I ordered roasted jalapeños on the side to go with my steak. It only came with 1 this time and it was an additional $2.29. I'm not sure I'd spare the expense on that next time. We also ordered the Buffalo chicken tender appetizer with blue cheese and that was amazing. It was a good way to start our dinner. I could have that as a meal.
