Okay prices for okay barbecue, nothing more nothing less. More often than not always going to be packed but location is big so waits are usually rare unless you're there during rush. Sides are slathered in all sorts of butter and spices and even if you ask for them plain they'll still be caked in salt. And call me crazy but 6 bucks to add a few pieces of burned and overseasoned shrimp to your order is a bit crazy. But everything else is okay if unexceptional, you could do worse for the prices. In town for business and decided to go here. One of my to go steak chains. Sat at the bar area since I was by myself. The 2 bartenders were friendly and checked in every 5-10 minutes. Texas Roadhouse has one of the best bbq grilled chicken dinners in America ! I love it ! The chicken is tender and juicy! The bbq sauce is delicious ! I like to get a salad and broccoli as my sides. I always get the French dressing when it is available ! They now offer online ordering at many locations! I would make sure you call ahead for seating if you dine in! This chain steakhouse is very well managed from a customer perspective. Every time we go here it is pretty crowded but service is always great and there isn't a long wait for our food. With either visits to this location I haven't had a bad experience nor anyone else with me. I really love the Chili and could make it my entire meal. The dinner salad is the perfect size and has good toppings and nice dressing options. My wife loves the Filet Medallions with Rice and I have tried a few different steaks(always the largest cut) and have never been disappointed. read more

I would like to Thank the incredible staff at this restaurant. My family was coming together to celebrate our dear family member who had pasted away recently. It was Uncle Jakes birthday. I had to work, I called spoke to the Manager Jon Evans and he was able to take my Crd card info and wrote down what I wanted to say to my family and proceeded the bill so I was able to pay the check and tell my family how much I missed them and wished I could be there. So I used my app to place myself on the wait list. The app stated 20-30 minute wait. I show up at the restaurant at the time I was instructed to be told there is a 25-30 minute wait. I asked why when I was told that through the app 20 minutes ago. I was told by the hostess that a lot of people have come in since then. WHATS THE POINT OF PUTTING MYSELF ON THE WAITLIST???????? Hands down the worst Texas Roadhouse I have EVER been to. Waitress neglected our drinks, wouldn't take the empty glasses, plates, or bread basket even though we had it stacked and set at the end of the table because we had a pretty packed table and were trying to make room. Didn't offer a high chair I had to search and find one myself after my two year old kept trying to slide off the booth and almost got ran over by a bus boy. Wife ordered a 6 oz. and I ordered a 8oz. She maybe got 2oz comparing the two. Her 6oz fit into the palm of my hand. My steak was completely ruined and burned even when I asked for medium rare. The Bourbonnais branch does 0 to accommodate disabled or large guests. They have 2 half booths with chairs in the back that have been empty the 3 times I've visited and yet they see me with my party and sit me in a booth....last two times I've asked if they could extend the table and give me a chair from the bar they've told me no that it was a safety hazard and would block the walk area by the table....only to witness on the same visit the staff extend the table for a party with small children. Why would you make a booth and attach the table to the wall?....it screams that you don't accommodate everyone.....and to top it off why would the hostess consistently seat a large guest in their tiny booths when there's two large/handicapped half booths in the back?....especially when I've witnessed people that were not handicapped or large sitting at the half booths......at the very least extend the tables so that the guest doesn't have to squeeze in a table and be uncomfortable their entire meal..... read more

This was my first time at Texas Roadhouse and it was very disappointing. I went with a party of 9. Our party ordered 4 steaks - 3 medium and 1 medium/rare(mine). The 3 that were supposed to be medium came to the table completely rare, and one was even cold. Mine was also pretty rare, however, I didn't mind. 2steaks were sent back which delayed our meal. Service was great, consistent, and the server did his best to correct the errors. Overall, the kitchen needs to get it together!!! read more

Good food. Not amazing. My first time was great, waitress very attentive and friendly. Second time waitress was good at her job but seemed very unamused to even be there, which happens. Hubby and I have been eating so healthy that our stomachs weren't ready for the rolls with butter and sugar and all the salt. But still felt fine after eating there. It's a corporation so some of the things the company has them do is annoying, like every single time we go in they ask if it's our first visit. The line dancing with straight faces just seemed weird. If I was line dancing at work I'd be laughing and smiling (I used to work at the competitor who also line danced and ate peanuts so I know first hand) Good comfort food and great service. Not impressed. Chili excellent in taste but cool when served. Steak was much to soft suggesting over marinating. It was salty and didn't have any flve. It was a boneless Rib Eye. The soft drinks much to expensive for basically a glass of ice. Waitress not personable at all. Took forever to get condiments needed to start meal. My friend had a sweet potatoe and the top was burnt. The first basket of rolls we were served were on the verge of being stale the second one was fresher..Would I go back. Don't think so. This is a solid choice for a meal out of the house. Definitely a great restaurant, a great choice for date night. The drinks are great, I love the raspberry lemonade. The pulled pork is great, the steaks are pretty good too. The staff is excellent and the kitchen moves pretty fast. If you plan on coming on a Friday or Saturday I'd definitely call a head of time to get your name on the list. Other than that no other complaints. The prices and portions are perfect. You can bring the whole family or go for a date night. The food is cooked just the way you order it. And the turn around is just shy of being called fast. It gives you time between courses to actually digest. The only real complaint I have is the kitschy atmosphere and vibe. I just want to enjoy my steak. I don't need a gaggle of servers doing a line dance every 15 minutes. If you are out there doing the boot scooting boogie, then you are tending to your customers. Great staff, waiters that are on the ball, and food that is consistently good. They have an app that helps eliminate waiting in line and now you can even order online with it if you prefer to get carryout. We actually drive here instead of Tinley, because the music at Tinley is so loud it's hard to talk, and no matter how many times anyone asks Tinley to turn it down they don't.
