The rolls were brought to the table pretty quick . They are so good , I'm not going lie lol. I ate all of them before my friend arrived and they brought another basket for her when she arrived . The service is always good . She came by the table several times to see how we were doing and cleaned up whenever we were finished with a dish. They are always dancing to some music which puts on a show for the customers and I guess also puts them in a good mood while working by having a little break with fun. Listen I know TR is a chain and I try to eat at local spots mostly, but man this was delicious! Lol! We were visiting the area and this is where everyone wanted to come, who am I to object, we jumped in the car. It was slammed busy but yet still seated immediately and drink in hand in a few minutes! It's the little touches that TR does that sets it apart and notch above, my grilled chicken had been cooked perfectly and the grilled lemon added that perfect tang! This was my 2nd time here for lunch, and it was just as good as the first. My sister and I started with salads, and I really liked their homemade Italian dressing. We shared the Roadhouse Churrasco, and the sliced flat iron steak was cooked perfectly. I loved this. We were able to sub another side for the rice, so we got another salad. Between the salads and baked potato, one meal was more than enough for the two of us, and I appreciated that there wasn't a sharing charge. Came to Texas Roadhouse for my sister's birthday because she is: (1) a big steak fan and (2) an even bigger Texas Roadhouse fan. And for good reason. Right away service was fantastic, from the hostesses at the front, to our waitress and the other servers who sang (or should I say Yeehawed) happy birthday at the end of our meal. Plus, you really get a bang for your buck here. We got the cactus blossom to share which was seasoned perfectly and nicely crisped, along with their house biscuits and delicious sweet butter. Went here on a Saturday evening and there was a long wait. We were able to get two seats at the bar, but had to wait for that also, because the self-seating area is not that large. The bartender was very nice and saw that we were hovering and let us know that the spots would be available very soon. I ordered the salmon, and my two sides of mashed potatoes and corn. I came to this restaurant on a Sunday evening and it was super busy. As soon as I arrived I scan the barcode by the front door to get on the waitlist. I waited for about 45 minutes but it was well worth it. Sam was the server for my mom and I and he was fantastic. He was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the ribeye with rice and a salad. I also ordered 6 shrimp for an up charge. The salad was sooo delicious, I usually ask for the dressing on the side but I am happy that I didn't. My food was so delicious and satisfying. They sat my husband and I at a tiny booth when there were open large booths right across the aisle and I should have insisted because the table was way too small. My server, the make bartender who was On Duty with a female teacher, even refused to say "thank you." Before that, no greet and the part where I ordered was him asking in an annoyed voice "you ready?" He did explain when I asked for a small amount of bread t hat "it has to be 4 breads" and he'd "throw away" the bread I don't eat. Seems wasteful. Strongest 5 star review I've given out in years. No doubt about it. The food, prices, quality, and service were phenomenal. Craziest part is literally every table was taken, with dozens of people outside waiting. When I arrived and saw the dozens waiting I figured it would be a crazy house. When they said it would be a 5-15 minute wait I laughed, and considered other options as this clearly was a joke. They had the great idea of having an outside hostess. This eliminated new arrivals from going inside and cluttering the entrance to be put on a waiting list or checking where they're at in line. Genius move and it really did help keep things organized. Reminding you this is a full house, literally ever table taken and dozens outside. We were quickly sat at a clean table with menus, peanuts, and a bucket waiting. Almost immediately asked if we wanted app's or drinks. Our party of 3 ordered 2 drinks each and within 3 minutes all 6 drinks arrived. We ordered our food, and they served it, but in a practical way. First, they brought out awesome bread and butter. Texas roadhouse style so you know its basically like dessert bread. Europe would likely consider it cake-bread based on nutrition, but I approve. Instead of asking a dumb question "Do you want your side salad served first or with your steak?" they just assumed, and they were right. All of our salads came out first, assembled correctly, and my favorite cherry on top was they were served on ice cold frozen plates and with a small cup of more than enough dressing. Decent salad, but couldn't have been served better. I dont know how many patrons they had but to have lets guess 300 frozen salad plates ready to serve people super awesome and super cheap salads is impressive. Steak was slightly overcooked but that was user error. I didn't want to order too rare and make a fool of myself asking it to be recooked. But I got exactly what I ordered. It was good. Their steak sauce was good. The price is incredible. (on weds, $16 for an 8 oz sirloin, with an awesome salad and baked sweet potato). The ambiance is that of a loud, bustling western saloon. I enjoyed seeing the fresh meat in the glass case and the fresh bread going out as you walk in. We arrived with a party of 12, and there seemed to be some kind of confusion with the way we were supposed to check in. There was a check-in person both outside and inside. We checked in outside but the person inside wasn't aware so we weren't actually checked in. We waited about an hour to be sat, after they required a headcount. This alone took it down 1.5 stars for me, but I don't want to remove 2 for that. Once we did get sat, our server Jaime was excellent. She was friendly and attentive. The service was a bit slow because the restaurant was packed and we were a party of 12, so it's understandable. I loved the free roasted peanuts and of course the free buttered bread. You could almost just have those and a small salad and be satisfied! I really wanted some red meat though, so I had the filet with a loaded potato and a side Caesar. The filet was perfectly cooked and scrumptious. The Caesar was also good and the potato was average. I forgot to ask for the potato without salt on the jacket, so that's on me. Everyone enjoyed their food and their cocktails. They make the servers do random dances in the middle of the dining room during certain songs. We also had a birthday and they brought out a saddle for the birthday girl to sit on while we all yeehawed at her. Overall it was a good time, but we got there at 6:30pm and didn't leave until 9pm. I joined the waitlist online in advance before I got there because I anticipated a line, and wow was that the right move. I was able to basically walk-in in front of everyone once I showed up for my time and I was pretty much instantly seated. That was incredible and a highly underrated trick. I knew I wanted steak and I decided on the 8oz sirloin. I've gotten it before so I knew what to expect and I ordered Fries with a Caesar salad as my sides. The Caesar salad came out first and was super delicious. Such a great side! Then the fries came out with the sirloin. After cutting into my sirloin I was a bit disappointed at the way it was cooked as I ordered it medium but it def came closer to well done, since there was very little pink inside. That was a bit of a bummer, but it didn't deter me from devouring it with my fries. It was my cousin's birthday and they sent her a free appetizer so we went, We were seated at 5:50 and served our drinks by a very nice server named Nick. The three of us decided on the 13.99 Special menu. Nick came to take our order and Shari showed him her free appetizer email. He said " Happy Birthday, you can order from this area or one of these" pointing to two sections on the menu." She told him she wanted wings, and then ordered her meal. He said he was sorry but you couldn't use any other coupons or specials with the free appetizer. He said that was not an issue anyway because it was now 6:06 and too late for us to order the special.
