    12oz ribeye

This is the first time I've come to Texas Roadhouse and was not Wowed by the service. We came in early, maybe an hour after opening, and my service was just not good. Usually, I have a very attentive server. However, my food was excellent! I have the 12oz ribeye, and it was delicious. The ambiance is good. I just felt like the music was a little louder than I remembered.

We come here every once in a while. The last time we visited everything was great! Bread is always on point and the service was just awesome. Never ordered the steak here but it was pretty good. Everything was clean and tasted delicious. Will be back!

Friendly staff, thank you Kim for your wholesome service! Food is great as always at this location, fresh and delicious. Usually am in around lunch time so it's quiet and peaceful.

The best Prime Rib I have eaten. The country fried steak is a must. The hot rolls and apple butter are a must. One of my favorite places

We had a great waitress named Jennifer who took wonderful care of the eight of us. My wife and I ordered a half slab of ribs for an appetizer they were terrific. Then we shared the brick chicken. She got a special salad with it because she's not eating lettuce until they start saying that it's healthy again and the bread on the table was hot and garlic and they give you these sweet peppers that they've been marinated and are delicious and Vesuvio potatoes came with the brick chicken, which were wonderful and then we shared a giant piece of chocolate cake for dessert and somebody passed me a taste of their Keylime pie, which was also terrific. There were eight of us. Everybody had different meals. Most of them had lobster bisque soup instead of a salad. One of them had chicken soup with tiny noodles in it which they said was the best they ever had couple people had scallops over spinach, which they proclaimed was excellent and three of our people had various mistakes which they loved Maureen who sat next to me had tiramisu for dessert and she said it was one of the best she ever had so this restaurant had everything right and is an easy five star

We started with lobster bisque, which was a bit too thick and reminded me of gravy, but the bread was warm and very good. Next, we had the scallop wrapped in bacon, which was excellent. I ordered a coconut-mango margarita that was incredibly good. Our main course was filet mignon, cooked perfectly medium-rare and seasoned to my preference. The carb cake was okay. My husband had chicken parmesan served over angel hair pasta, which he found just okay--the pasta was quite bland. The Brussels sprouts that came with my steak were delicious. We finished with lemon meringue pie for dessert and were very satisfied. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable date night.

Date night done right at Rosebud Steakhouse in Munster…read more My husband and I chose this spot for a much-needed night out and it did not disappoint. We started with drinks--he had an Old Fashioned and I ordered the Versant Twist--and both were absolutely lovely. We skipped appetizers to save room for dinner and were so glad we did. He ordered the Dolmenico Ribeye and I went with the 12oz Filet Mignon. We shared grilled asparagus, loaded steakhouse mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms and onions. Everything was so incredibly delicious that I completely forgot to take photos--which says a lot. Ryan, our server, was fantastic--attentive, friendly and made the whole experience even better. Honestly, we haven't had a steak this good while dining out in over 20 years. We will definitely be back very soon.

We took my mother there to celebrate her 84th birthday and had a party of about 20 people. The side room we occupied was too dark for my liking. The employees were nice. As for the food, Rosebud Steakhouse is known for its steaks, and the 13-plus people in our group who ordered steak said they were good. However, one steak did have to be sent back because it was overcooked. I ordered the chicken sandwich, crab cake, macaroni, and broccoli on the side. The macaroni and chicken were oversalted, the broccoli was over-peppered, and the crab cake was undercooked. I packed my food up and took it home, where it ended up sitting in the garage. They do have a full bar, which was a nice bonus. Overall, if steak is your thing, this is the place for you.

The wine list covers most regions, though noticeably missing any Zinfandels. Service was good overall, but substitutions are clearly discouraged, which may be a drawback for some diners. Appetizers lean heavily toward seafood, with a salad and brochette rounding out the options. They also offer rotating egg rolls; we tried the gyros version, which was flavorful but on the pricey side. The main menu isn't extensive, yet every major category is represented. Our fillets were cooked as ordered, and the baked potatoes were standard. However, the presentation was underwhelming--the filet looked quite bare on a large plate, with watery meat juice that didn't add much appeal. Desserts include a wide variety of cakes and cream‑cheese‑based options, though there's no crème brûlée or key lime pie for those who prefer classics. All in all, the experience and pricing were reminiscent of the now‑closed Gino's, though it doesn't quite reach the same level of execution. Still, it offers a solid night out with a few standout elements and a few areas that could use refinement.

On my second visit a year later, I decided to give it another shot--this time opting for the traditional version instead of the smoked one. It was better, but still only average at best. It was also served warm, and the ice melted quickly, suggesting the glass or drink wasn't properly chilled. The martini was also underwhelming--it tasted mostly like juice, with little to no noticeable alcohol. As for the food, the starters were definitely the highlight. The French onion soup was actually very good. However, the main courses didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the steak medium rare, but it came out closer to medium well--overcooked and under-seasoned. The chicken Vesuvio was also disappointing; the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and neither it nor the rice stood out in any meaningful way. On a positive note, the ambiance was very nice. The lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, while the setting and service were enjoyable, the food and drinks didn't justify a return visit.
