    Steak with Herbed Butter

Food, Service, and Ambiance was fantastic. The servers were friendly and informative. The food was plentiful and delicious, the ambiance was welcoming.

    Rosebud condoning entitlement and scumbaggery.

Rosebud The worst dinner experience I can remember. The server, Pam, was good. That's the end of the good. The food? Garbage. The crowd inside? Much worse. Nothing but ghetto, entitled trash bags. Rosebud caters to them and encourages it. Table of 4 next to us was loud as hell. Big Bertha with a Lilo & Stitch shirt on, playing videos on her phone with the volume all the way up. Scumbag dude next to her sat with his chair out in the middle of the aisle, on his phone the entire time. Seriously, check the photos. He sat like that the whole time. On his phone. Not one ounce of respect for the public. And they let this happen. Grandma and grandpa scumbag sat there b*tching up a storm about everything. Rosebud allowed it to happen. They comped most of their bill (after they licked the plate clean, of course) Scumbag in the middle of the aisle tipped $15 (shocker, right?) on the $210 bill that was left. And he made a big scene about it too: "here this is for you!" Rosebud caters to these idiots. Dude was in his ripped up jeans which are expressly prohibited on the website and sign by the door, but can't yell at them or it'll be a fiasco. Trash. If it was me who dressed and acted like that, I would be told to correct it. Guess it doesn't apply to all. Then the food: The "bread" they offered was comical. Cheap, oily grocery store Hawaiian bread (in the 4-piece format) with Kraft Parmesan sprinkled on top. A place that charges $9 for a piece of shrimp should offer real bread. The mashed potatoes were decent and chunky, which I enjoy, but they destroyed them with garbage bread crumbs and whatever else. And really they were no better than a 13 year old could make at home. Trash. The steak? Dogfood. It tasted like bonfire ash. I wanted the cowboy ribeye but of course they were out of it--shocker. I went with the dry-aged Kansas City. The inside was alright. Cooked medium but I'll live with that; nowhere knows how to cook a steak anymore. Flavor from dry-aging was there, sort of. But the char overpowered everything. It was horrible. Not good char, straight up bonfire char. My girlfriend tried it and said the same. Even our server agreed it smelled horrible. Pathetic for $40, let alone $70+. I make a better steak at home while sick with the flu and blindfolded. And not to mention, my girlfriend wanted a mojito. They were out of mint. Not the end of the world but in the aggregate, from a place that wants to act like a fine Chicago steakhouse, it's annoying. RPM & Bavette's don't run out of mint. Don't act like those places if you are clearly not close. Charge $9 for a piece of shrimp, you should have mint. But this pales in comparison to the other failures. The spicy mule was good..... Overall the worst dining experience I could imagine. Stay far, far away from this place. It's only getting worse by the look of it. *had to come back to edit for comedic purposes. In the car on the way home, I opened the mint I grabbed from the front. It was gross and crumbly and dispersed all over the car. Never seen that in my life. This place does nothing correctly. Nothing.

First time at this location. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Just walking in and greeted by the host in a shirt and tie set the tone. Great Service by our server Josh. Very knowledgeable also anticipating our needs before asking. The FOOD was EXCELLENT and plentiful. Will definitely be going back and bringing our friends.

Rosebud is a great place that adds a fine dining establishment to the neighborhood. Overall, I was very impressed by the caliber of the food and the service. Most importantly, I find that often times, food can be overseasoned or outright salty. This place kept the delicate balance of having enough flavor in the meat but not oversalting to the point of wiping away the taste. In addition, the ambiance was just the right balance between feeling fancy but not stuffy. The sides were also great and I thought the portions were adequate so that you were full but also had enough to bring home. Cocktails are great too!

A rare steakhouse well done... more like a steakhouse that's just ok. The service was good, food was subpar for the price, I want to be honest and add that I didn't get steak. The Caesar salad was good. I ordered medium sliders, which came out medium well??? I was too lazy to send it back, but what I ate was dry and unseasoned with a slab of American cheese. The fries were ok as well. Overall I've had better but wanted to try a new place.

Went to Rosebud Steakhouse on a Saturday night with no reservation and was seated right away, which I didn't expect. The food was great and the portions were big enough that I left with leftovers. I ordered the 22oz ribeye steak -- cooked perfectly, no complaints at all. Staff was attentive, service was smooth, overall a really good experience. I'd definitely recommend Rosebud Steakhouse if you're looking for a quality steakhouse experience.

I went to Rose bud's to treat myself to a solo date on Sunday 07/13/25. Everything was great! Service, cocktails and the bartender referred me to the filet mignon lollipops which were amazing! However for my entree I ordered the salmon piccata. It was ok, but I got violently sick afterwards. I was vomiting from 11p-4a I vomited approximately 14xs. Something about the salmon was off and it got me very sick! I contacted them the following day, they told me they'll contact corporate and get back with me. I haven't heard anything since! Be careful ordering the salmon!

The wine list covers most regions, though noticeably missing any Zinfandels. Service was good overall, but substitutions are clearly discouraged, which may be a drawback for some diners. Appetizers lean heavily toward seafood, with a salad and brochette rounding out the options. They also offer rotating egg rolls; we tried the gyros version, which was flavorful but on the pricey side. The main menu isn't extensive, yet every major category is represented. Our fillets were cooked as ordered, and the baked potatoes were standard. However, the presentation was underwhelming--the filet looked quite bare on a large plate, with watery meat juice that didn't add much appeal. Desserts include a wide variety of cakes and cream‑cheese‑based options, though there's no crème brûlée or key lime pie for those who prefer classics. All in all, the experience and pricing were reminiscent of the now‑closed Gino's, though it doesn't quite reach the same level of execution. Still, it offers a solid night out with a few standout elements and a few areas that could use refinement.

On my second visit a year later, I decided to give it another shot--this time opting for the traditional version instead of the smoked one. It was better, but still only average at best. It was also served warm, and the ice melted quickly, suggesting the glass or drink wasn't properly chilled. The martini was also underwhelming--it tasted mostly like juice, with little to no noticeable alcohol. As for the food, the starters were definitely the highlight. The French onion soup was actually very good. However, the main courses didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the steak medium rare, but it came out closer to medium well--overcooked and under-seasoned. The chicken Vesuvio was also disappointing; the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and neither it nor the rice stood out in any meaningful way. On a positive note, the ambiance was very nice. The lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, while the setting and service were enjoyable, the food and drinks didn't justify a return visit.

Their standard menu does not feature their vegan options, so we had to wait for the waitress to come back around again to ask for this. Unfortunately, the Vegan Chicken Breast was crossed off, so I'm not sure if that will be coming back. I went with the Vegan Reuben, a reliable standard, but it was terribly disappointing. It prompted me to pull up my photos from our previous dining experience there, and the sandwich looks so much more unappetizing. The current sandwich is wet, pale, and oddly sweet. Interestingly, enough, the calamari is priced differently on both menus depending on which one you look at with a difference of three dollars. Overall, the food portions were very good. They also have some specials. The menu is very straightforward and luckily for us carnivores had a lot of choices. Service was very friendly and kind and the food came out very quickly. The bread service is a little bit off. They probably could actually serve you the olive oil with the cheese and the pepper so that you could actually dip it more for your bread. I do wish the calamari came with legs not just rings. The steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were delicious as well. The barbecue special that my friend ordered did not disappoint. We both absolutely cleaned up our plates and did not have room for dessert. This is definitely spot if you're in the area to check out great fun ambience. It wasn't too packed or busy and the food is very straightforward and tasty.

We ordered the Black Bullet party pack which comes with two pounds of brisket and two large sides. We went with fries and beans, and also added ribs, mac and cheese, and buns to the order. The brisket is still the star of the show. The spice rub on it is perfect, and it's so tender that it's unreal. The fries are exactly the kind of battered fries I like which was a pleasant surprise because I feel like not many places do them that way. The beans were okay... a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but they had huge chunks of pork in them that I definitely appreciated. We also added two slabs of ribs, and they fell right off the bone. I'm usually not a huge ribs person, but these were well cooked and flavorful. Mom loved them, and that's what really matters. We did have a few small issues with the order. We realized that our mac and cheese was unfortunately missing when we got home. They also ran out of pretzel buns midway through packing things up, so we ended up with a mix of pretzel and brioche buns instead. Honestly, we didn't mind that one too much because it gave us a chance to try both (I'd pick pretzel if I were you). When we picked up the order the place was absolutely packed, so it was hard to be upset over an honest mistake. They were clearly incredibly busy. I still don't really care for the sweeter sauce that tastes heavily like peppers to me, but their vinegar-based sauce (which I think is their original?) was much better than I remember. I'm glad to see this place is still around and still holds up after all this time. More importantly, the brisket is every bit as good as I remembered.
