The food is actually really good here ... I brought my grandma and grandpa here because it had been awhile since we've came and we all enjoyed the service and food. Our steaks were also cooked exactly how we asked and they have a new jalapeno cactus blossom that is served with queso and it's soooo delicious!!! If you don't like loud country music I wouldnt recommend because they do have the music on super loud in the restaurant. But our server Bobbie was exceptional!!! Highly recommend to put your name on the waitlist prior to arriving! I made the mistake of not checking before leaving the house and arrived to a TWO HOUR wait. Granted, it was Valentine's Day which is most likely why they were packed, but still. I should have thought to check and save ourselves the hassle of having to wait in the car the entirety of that time. Also note that they don't allow you to wait inside because there is no seating, so you have no choice but to stand outside or wait in your car. Once we got through the long wait, everything else was pretty much smooth sailing. The girl at the host stand had a hard time finding our name at first but once she did we got our booth. Our server for the night was great! Forgot his name but he was very attentive and quick to grab whatever we needed. My husband ordered a Dos Equis beer and I got their strawberry margarita. Very fruity and not strong at all! I will throw in that their glasses appear to be large but I noticed it's mostly filled with ice so you're not exactly getting as much as you think. But, it is tasty! As for food, we ordered their rattlesnake bites in hopes that they wouldn't come out salty like we experience at the location on Fort bliss base. Unfortunately they still tasted salty, just not as bad. It may just be the batter they use or the cheese is overly salty but I probably will stay away from the rattlesnake bites from now on. For my entree I got their pulled pork sandwich with Mac anc cheese. I've had the pulled pork before at their SoCal location so I knew it was good. As for the mac and cheese, I will say the cheese had a weird consistency, kind of lumpy. It also tasted a bit cold - like it had been reheated. My husband got their steak and shrimp combo. Everything tasted great! No complaints there. Honestly I'd just come here for their fresh bread rolls. It's the main reason I love Texas Roadhouse! They're so warm and fresh, the cinnamon butter goes perfect with them as well. Overall I'm giving 4 stars despite the long wait, alcohol drinks that are mostly ice, cold Mac and cheese and the salty rattlesnake bites because I really do love the bread rolls and the pulled pork sandwich is delicious! I ended up with food poisoning for about 24 hours. I tried to contact the restaurant a couple of times by calling and by web comments. No response. I will never eat there again. Looks like a great place to grab a steak or some prime rib. The burger I got to go was mediocre at best. I think that staff here is too notch tho. But they need some thing at the bar to alert the bartender's that their customers food is ready. I had to ask the bartender both times I went there in separate occasions if my food was ready because she never checked on it. Other than that they could use a better beer selection. First time eating at any Texas Roadhouse. Visiting from Hawaii and dined here with my daughter and family who live here in El Paso. Love the vibe and energy of this place. Our server was excellent. I originally wanted the 12 oz prime rib but the only cuts available were medium to well and I always have my meat rare. Instead I ordered the 8 oz sirloin and shrimp combo and was not disappointed. The food was tasty, steak temperature perfect, and my corn and Caesar salad sides were excellent. My wine was top notch, and the bread rolls with the cinnamon butter were to die for. I had been looking forward to eating a good stake at Texas Roadhouse. This had been my favorite place to eat a Good Steak! We got there and the place was outrageously cold. We asked the waitress to see if she could get someone to lower the temp and the response was that it was set to automatic. We sat there freezing waiting for our food. The food arrived on time, but less than 5 minutes it was cold. The mash potatoes tasted like rubber and the meat was like eating cardboard of how cold the food was. We left I less than 15 minutes. We waited longer to get seated than what we actually spent in the restaurant. It was a horrible disappointment visit. I get it that when a restaurant is busy, the personnel get hot, but this is a public place in which a consideration to all should be the objective. But once we ordered my kabob came out cold so I asked if they could reheat it and it was then well done I asked for it medium rare. My boyfriend talked to the manager about my food. However at one point the staff turned up the music so loud I literally had to scream to talk to other people at my table which ruined the ambiance. Wow. What a terrible experience. As a veteran (100 percent) disabled. The service I received with my wife and friend a slap in the face. Letting other veterans take advantage of their free meal I decided to give this restaurant a try. Tipping 20 dollars at the bar for a 30 dollar bar tab I was hoping for a great experience. The main dishes that we ordered were slow and the prime rib was under cooked. 30 minutes later they brought me my meat with no reason. I got to the restaurant at 9:20PM and it was packed. I put my name in and they told me it would be 20 minutes. The auto text said it would be 10. It was 40. Inaccurate times are a pet peeve of mine. At Texas Roadhouse, when the host/hostess escorts you to your table, they grab a basket of fresh rolls and give them to you when you get to the table. Host who seated me did not grab a basket of rolls. He escorted me to my table, and I waited, and waited, and waited, you get the drill. Server finally comes and starts trying to upsell me booze. I let her know I was driving and I was ready to order. I ordered a main, 2 sides, and I showed her my code for the free app. She took my order, left, and my first side, the salad, was immediately delivered. I was starving and couldn't wait to dive in, but I could not as my rolls were not the only thing they forgot to give me; they also forgot flatware. Don't worry, they brought me flatware 5 minutes later (no exaggeration), after they brought my tea. Once I got the flatware, the salad was delicious. Texas Roadhouse ingredients are so fresh. I like the salad at Olive Garden, but this is so much better (and the cold bowl really makes a difference). At this point I asked for the rolls. Next up was the app, "Rattlesnake Bites" (Jalapeño poppers). This is my favorite thing on their menu. Poppers were so good. Crispy on outside packed with the "sweet hot" cheesy filling inside. Main was next. I ordered 16OZ Sirloin, med rare, and it came with my second side (was supposed to be a bowl of chili, but they gave me a cup). They totally missed on the cook. There was a small amount of pink at the center of the steak, the rest was brown and it was cooked to med well. Chili was well spiced but tough to eat with a fork. Bill came to $35.69 but they forgot to take off the appetizer, I had to have them do it. So overall, sides were awesome, app was great, but service was not good and the steak was an epic fail. Waiter was not able to process our $25,00 gift card. Second, we had a coupon for a free appetizer valued at $11,99. We went with the waiter's suggestion for appetizer. We get the bill and we were charge for the free appetizer, plus the inability to process our $25 gift card. the receipt was high and we were force to paid for everything. I think I got full on the bread they kept bring also lol. Arrived 10-15 minutes later and my plate looked absolutely delicious. I ordered my steak medium and it came out medium nice and pink in the center. Shrimp were marinated in a garlic butter sauce. Baked potato was loaded with bacon and cheese. Very good. Party of 6 included 2 children. We had an hour wait but we reserved on-line and that process went well. In thinking about what happened, it is as though all the steaks are pre-cooked. One of the children wanted the children's plate of sirloin -cooked medium. When her Mom told the waitress, she said that the children sirloin only comes well done. Yes, I told her I want it medium rare. When I received was nowhere close to medium rare. It was well done in the middle and parts on the outside were medium. For $25.00 - I should have returned it, but I did not. I asked for creamed horseradish, and she didn't know what that was. She came back and handed me something and said this is all we have. And yes, it was creamed horseradish, but it had little chunks of ice in it. My friend ordered a ribeye - and she told the waitress that she wanted it cooked a minute or two past the medium rare point. Waitress said that they could not do that. That it was either medium rare or it was medium. She can't tell the cook to do that! Why go to a Steakhouse when they don't cook your meat the way that you want it???? Went yesterday ( 5/18/24). We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait for a table. It was 40 minutes. The waitress was able to get our entire order when she came for the drink order because we had enough time to peruse the menu before we were even seated. We waited 45 minutes and no food came. We had drank our drinks with no refills. A manager happened to walk by so we let her know that we hadn't received our food and we had been waiting for 45 minutes. Apologize and said they would take a percentage off of our bill. When our food finally did arrive an hour later, my steak was burnt and inedible. The waitress asked if I would like another steak and I told her no because I wasn't waiting another 45 minutes to an hour for it. We have always had a good experience here and hoping it was an off day. Y'all need to do better! read more

The bacon for said burger was cold and limp, and the late appetizer was their fried onion. It was cold, flavorless, and swimming in oil. I got exactly 5 cold, soggy fries with my burger, and a side of mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese had good flavor but again, cold. We have been to this TRH several times and it is always over crowded. Expect at least a 30 minute wait before being seated. The waiters/waitresses are friendly but it is evident some are not well trained. Probable being thrown to the wolves due to the crowd. The food seems to be declining in quality, steaks have a lot of fat and our last salad looked as though it came from the bottom of the pan. We love the restaurant and it is located very close to our home but we have decided to wait until the run before going back so things can calm down and the food quality can improve. read more
