My all American cheese burger had way to much salt on it. And my grill chicken with mushrooms and onions dinner was missing the mashed potatoes. Who ever is cooking the burgers need to learn salt control. Some people can't eat a lot of salt, because of heath reason, like high blood pressure. We went on a Thursday night thinking we would receive better service than on a weekend. Couldn't have been more wrong! We were seated within 15 minutes but the wait for our food was over one hour. We finally had to flag down our server who somehow didn't notice we had no food. She came back out and reassured us "the manager is yelling at them and your food should be out in 4 minutes". That turned into another 15 minutes. When the food was brought out, some of what we ordered was either wrong or missing. It would be another 10 minutes to get a sweet potato. And another 5 for a small cup of bbq sauce as it appeared they forgot it on the ribs. It was all ridiculous. But the worst part during the entire wait was the dancing and clapping of the servers. This seemed to be timed to a video as they would all suddenly line up in the middle of the restaurant and start line dancing. So annoying and cheesy. Sorry, we come to a restaurant to eat so how about a little more service and less (or no) dancing? Although the server assured us a manager would come to our table and offer a discount the full bill was brought out. We then asked to see a manager and she feigned surprise about our long wait. Said she thought it was only a "few minutes". She came back with a 30% discount. We appreciated it but the evening was pretty much ruined by then. Try to do better! I had recieved a few gift cards for Texas Roadhouse and decided to use them up. I called ahead an hour and when we walked in the door, we were immediately seated. Our waitress Ashley was so nice and great at her job! Upon being seated, there's a bucket of peanuts and you are served warm honey rolls and whipped cinnamon butter! We got an appetizer of fried pickles with ranch dressing and they tasted excellent. For dinner, I had the 8 oz. Salmon and the loaded sweet potato, with a side salad. My boyfriend had the 8 oz thick cut NY Strip, medium well with a loaded sweet potato and green beans. The green beans had an amazing smokey taste. When my salad came out, Ashley apologized for the wait and we didn't even realize there was one! She made sure we had everything we needed and I can't stress how knowledgeable she was! We were bummed that we hadn't saved room for dessert! I highly recommend going, especially with the call ahead option. Restaurants are about customer service! Starting out by lying about seating for 9 people. And once I Confronted the person sitting us he/she (couldn't tell) they got a female manager. Said they dIdnt have a bigger table and I pointed out tables that could be turned, she walked up to them and said it's a fIre code violation! I asked how and she said people would be able tto "go around" the tables????? So settling for the smallest possible table I am then confronted by a big black guy who Was the kitchen manager. I love the food here! I got the Chicken Critters with steak fries and sweet potatoes along with a roadkill with mash potatoes and creamy gravy and the mac & cheese (this was an additional $0.99). The Mac & cheese seemed like it came out of a box that I could have made at home. It wasn't worth the extra up-charge. I didn't expect to get bread and cinnamon butter but we did. The management of this location is not fair to their employees. I know of one particular employee who was hardworking, never missed work, treated the customers with the utmost respect and he was fired because he called in to have a day off. Mind you this young man NEVER missed work. I watched this particular young man take care of 4 tables with ease and confidence! He engaged the customers, made them feel welcomed and brought their food out without promptly. It's always the good employees they let go. All of the restaurants on Miller Rd NEED help including Texas Roadhouse and because management got upset that this young man called in, they fired him. I truly enjoyed coming to this restaurant...but not so much anymore. Our server blankly lied to us on 2 occasions. If you mess up just own it not a big deal. Recently used a Christmas gift card for lunch here. It was outstanding. My steak, that I ordered medium rare, was perfect. Often, medium rare comes out raw or unchewable, but this was great. I loved the sweet potatoes, too. The service was good, very quick and the server was attentive to the table. Refills came quickly and without a lot of prompting. The ambiance is regular chain steakhouse, but it was clean and this is a newer restaurant in the area, so everything is still shiny new. I used to work at this location and I have been back twice for dine in and both times our food was wrong,so with carry out being the only option I THOUGHT the food would be better. Boooooy was I wrong!!! We ordered the WWW and the appetizer combo. Our steaks were not the correct steaks and they were well when I ordered med-well and they were hard, the potatoes were disgusting and they smelled horrible, we couldn't even eat them. I ordered one salad with croutons and one without, they both came without even though on the receipt it states what I ordered. Now let's move on to the combo app smh the boneless wings had no sauce on them and were hard! The potato skins were dry just like the baked potatoes and the rattlesnake bites weren't completely done. Oh let's not forget how hard and dry the rolls were smh. Asked for extra butter for the baked pots and received one scoop per potato. This makes no sense to me at all!! If the dining room isn't open HOW ARE YOU ALL STILL MESSING UP!!! My husband eats practically everything but he couldn't even eat this meal. The only thing he ate was his salad and the shrimp so basically $37 in the trash because folks can't get it right smh. So after eating here a few hours ago my wife is now eating a hotdog. Why you ask. Let me tell you. I ordered a six ounce sirloin, fries, and rice. She ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. Our food arrived. No rice for me. No sides for her. Only the chicken with gravy on her plate. Mine was good, but no rice. Hers was too salty to eat. Still no sides. They redid hers without gravy. Her request. I finished my food before hers came back, a lone piece of chicken on a plate. Still no sides, but hey, the chicken was breaded. I still have no rice. My wife owns sad eyes And only picks at the chicken. The bill comes. Still no sides. Get apologies and are told the kitchen is a mess. They did take 8 dollars off our bill. We were then told the problem was the kitchen ran out of the sides and were cooking new ones. Question for you all. Does it really take 40 minutes to cook mashed potatoes, green beans, and rice? Just wondering. And yet we still left a 25% tip. what can I say, the waitress was bubbly. Then after a few minutes she came back with my cocktail but didn't bring the waters the other two people asked for. Then she took our food orders. We ordered the combo appetizer and we were told they were out of mozzarella sticks. Then we placed our food order a few minutes later - steaks and a salad - and for the sides we ordered chili and a garden salad. Chili came out same time as salad but had no spoon. Food runner told us they couldn't find any spoons so they gave us a plastic carry out spoon. Then the appetizers came out about three minutes before our entrees. Terrible timing. I asked the sever if they are really out of spoons like the runner told us. She said "yes, well they're just not clean". So in the entire kitchen they had no clean spoons. I'm all for entertainment but instead of line dancing maybe go wash spoons. We were seated directly in front of the servers station where they place orders. Even with their masks on you could see the drama in their body language and eye rolls. Most of the time there were at least three or four servers gathered in the area. Not sure if they were actually placing orders or just gossiping. The manager came by our table to see if things were ok. We said yah, kinda so far. Then gave us her name in case we needed her. We didn't need her unless she was going to wash spoons. Bottom line- food was ok, atmosphere sucked.The place is clearly mismanaged. We won't be back. With a few other nice steakhouse in the immediate area there's no need to revisit Texas Roadhouse. read more

I give the food 5 stars! Everything we had was excellent! I knocked it down a star for the mediocre service. This was our first visit, so it could have just been an off night, or an inexperienced server. Obviously the rolls and cinnamon butter are irresistable, and it is tempting to fill up on them before your meal ever arrives. We tried the snakebites and really enjoyed them, preferring them without the ranch dip. My son devoured his little steak (which was perfectly cooked and so tender) and mashed potatoes. One daughter ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich and exclaimed the BBQ sauce was the best BBQ sauce she'd ever eaten. Her one "complaint" was that she wished the chicken had been pulled, rather than a whole breast. The other ordered a messy mushroom burger. She disliked the bun, but she fork-and-knifed the rest and ate the entire thing, which is pretty unusual for her. I had a ribeye with sautéed mushrooms, grilled shrimp, and mashed potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli was a wee oversteamed, but the steak and the shrimp were absolutely, mouthwateringly perfect!!! No steak sauce or additional seasoning was needed at all. Would that every establishment could make such a perfect steak! The shrimp were tender and not even slightly over cooked. They were seasoned very nicely and served with seasoned clarified butter (which leftovers were a nice addition to the steak and meaty mushrooms once the shrimp were gone). read more

I typically shy away from the bigger corporate type eateries like this because I have found that poor management and questionable service can often be the case. I am very glad I gave this place a chance to prove me wrong. The filet was amazing. I have paid far more for far less when it comes to steak. The ribs were better then average, and the Cactus Blossom onion was probably the best fried onion I have ever had. Not greasy at ALL. It was really the service that made the meal so enjoyable. Nick M provided the absolute BEST service I have ever had for a meal. We didn't want for anything, yet he wasn't intrusive at all. This was my first time at Texas Roadhouse. We went because my daughter wanted to go there for her birthday. I did the call ahead seating and they tell you to arrive 15 min early, which we did, however we were seated right away. That was a pleasant surprise. The first thing they bring you is baskets of fresh, just out of the oven, hot, homemade rolls with cinnamon butter. OMG HEAVEN!! Honestly I could just eat those and get something to drink and be good to go lol. They also have buckets of peanuts on the table, which in the age of peanut allergies is a rarity, so that was also enjoyable. Our waitress got with us immediately but since we got seated earlier than expected we were waiting on half of our party to arrive however it went quickly since she kept us in fresh rolls and drinks. We got the cheese fries as an appetizer and it is a HUGE order and they are not skimpy on the cheese or bacon. They were delicious and more than enough for 5 of us to share. Our meals came quickly and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked, which was awesome considering we had a few steaks ordered at different temps. They nailed all of them. I was so full from rolls that I just ordered a grilled shrimp appetizer. It was the perfect size for a light meal and came with some delicious bread also. 3 out of 5 of us ended up taking home part of our meals because the portions are large especially after appetizers and rolls. We did make my daughter sit thru their version of happy birthday and she got ice cream with chocolate for it being her birthday. They do a cute Texas version. She acted embarrassed but I think she secretly loved it. The best part of the experience was our waitress Amelia. She was AMAZING!! She constantly checked on us despite it being packed shortly after we had got there. We never had to ask for anything or wait on anything and our drinks were never more than half empty before she brought refills. She was really just a friendly, bubbly person in general. She even took the time to chat when my daughter had a question and never made us feel rushed. I would definitely request her when we go back!! Really just nothing special about the place. We had friend pickles, a cactus blossom (blooming onion type thing), fried steaks, and pulled pork. All the fried food had no taste too it. Extremely bland. The steak was pretty bland. Our pulled pork was completely dry and tasteless. Our house salads and free peanuts probably had the most taste out of everything. It's just another chain restaurant pumping out the same menu items, while looking and feeling exactly like logans.
