When this place first opened it was the best place to go to in Florence! They had friendly staff, the best waiters/waitresses, and management was top notch. I'm guessing a new manager has stepped in and they have all new employees because it's a totally different atmosphere now. The food is still wonderful but the management needs some adjustments. The waiters/ waitresses walk around very sob-by and obviously hate their job. Wish you would bring the old manager back that y'all had about 6-8 months ago! Absolutely wonderful. I've been here at least 6 times. Food was always delicious and staff are kind and pleasant. Food is served relatively quick. Only small complaint is the wait time, but let's be honest, you can't solve that! It's only because it's amazing food. I normally get the steaks but I have gotten the chicken and ribs from time to time and everything I've eaten is equally great. All the way from the ribeye to the fried onion. I don't know if there is a bad thing on the menu. Overall, amazing restaurant. I look forward to returning here sometime soon. read more

This has got to be the worst experience ever! The waiting took us 50 minutes. The waitress Mack took longer to get to our tables. When the order finally came out to us. We only had maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of it. The Dino bits had more gristle than meat. My daughters corn should have been called peppered corn. The waitress kept saying sorry sorry. Well sorry doesn't cut it. We went there for my daughters birthday. The waitress promised the birthday girl something that never materialized. When we were leaving we had seen the waitress talking to a coworker. I can imagine that is what she was doing the whole time. Don't get me started on the drinks. No refills until we were close to being done and we had to ask for it. On the way home my granddaughter just found a fly in her drink. If I could give zero stars I would. We never even gotten any rolls. Everybody around us did. The manager knew about this but did not offer any discount off the meal. I am updating my review. I I updated it to 4 stars because when does a manager call and try to make things right? I don't know why everyone has left not nice reviews, but this was a great Texas Roadhouse. Cara you were an absolute gem tonight. I had a perfectly cooked 8oz ribeye! Chili was fine. My only little grip was my Caesar salad didn't have enough lettuce for me, wish it was a little more filling, but it's because it's so tasty!!!!! She was trying to entertain her friend that had come in, and ignored us, for the most part. She came to our table to get the drink orders, but was walking to this friend the whole time. She brought out such incorrect drinks, it was a joke. We ordered 2 ice teas and one margarita. We got 2 sprites? For 3 people? So you can imagine, we didn't want to get too complicated with food. One of my sisters got a country fried steak, mashed potatoes and applesauce. There was a long, dark hair in her applesauce. That was replaced, after about 15 minutes. My other sister got a sirloin steak. She's psycho and ordered it well done. They brought it out seriously barely cooked. Had to send that back. The waitress brought out the green beans she ordered, but we had to remind her to bring the mashed potatoes. I ordered a side salad, sautéed mushrooms, and baked beans. The salad was not supposed to have cheese, but it came with cheese. Sent back, took near 20 minutes to get that back. I will not recommend coming here. read more

We took my 85yr old mother to this Texas Roadhouse and had the worst experience ever. To start with it was so cold in there we had to get a blanket out of our car for my mom. If we would have had 3 more blankets we would have all had one. Ordered drinks and was brought the wrong drink. When we got our food it was just warm. We had all ordered the filet medallions. None of our orders had the rice or pepper sauce on them. When we asked about it we were each brought out a bowl of rice, still no sauce. With the temperature being so cold all our food was ice cold in a about 5mins. We had to get to go boxes and take our food home to heat it up so we could eat a hot meal. The service was terrible and the temperature was unbearable. What makes it worse is it was not even busy in there. If you go there to eat break out your winter coats. Unless there are changes for the better we will not return. Spent close to $200 and could not enjoy our food. read more

We visited Mother's Day Weekend and it was very busy, but manageable. We had a buzzer and did have to check on our table, since it was past our quoted time. Would suggest hostesses do a little better job with this. Our server,Olivia, was personable and attentive, despite a few times of getting her attention. Went to this place this evening for a meal. I know it gets busy at prime dining days and times. We had a 45 minute drive to the place from our home so I called ahead and got on the waitlist. Our wait was 1 hour and fourty five minutes. We sat in our car waiting for the text that tells us to bring our party inside to get the next available table. When we got in there, the hostess(es) were the rudest I have ever seen. They told us that we still had another half hour to wait. We're thinking oh great. So we said we would go to the bar and get something to drink while we kept waiting. No service what so ever. They had filled up all the bar seating with people eating food so you couldn't even access a bartender. No one came to our table to take an order, we sat there another 15 minutes. Then this blonde manager comes up to us and says we can't sit there.we had helped ourselves to an open booth hoping to get a drink while continuing our extremely long wait. This manager said, she needed to seat someone else there and that we needed to get up and go wait wherever but to not have a seat even though there were probably a dozen open booths to sit at. We were told by the first hostess that we could wait in the bar and yet when we tried to the manager told us we had to leave. Obviously they do not communicate with each other. What was most upsetting in an aggravating situation was all the attitude from the hostess staff and the management. I went to Texas Roadhouse because I had previous experience in San Antonio. Love the loaded mashed potatoes. However I came here a little after 4 PM sat at bar as I am only one person. I ordered the fillet and a glass of house cab. I wanted to shake it off the loss of my beloved dog and some other stressors.I had 3 more glasses of wine while listening to my podcast and prepaid with tip settled well over 50 percent. A young lady came to tell me I could not order another glass of wine even though I was not intoxicated and had closed out my tab with tip before she approached. Wen I ordered my Bacon Burger I asked if I could get it medium rare. Our waitress said that they could not make my burger medium rare due to the restaurants rules.
