Not surprised by the food, not bad, but nothing that stands out. This wasn't our first visit here so we expected cold drinks and warm food and that's exactly what we got. However, what we didn't expect was the awesome server! Abby was the most cheerful and attentive person and her attitude was contagious! I couldn't believe she had been here for 7 years, I told her that most servers get worn down pretty fast in this environment and she said she just tries to make every customer feel happy and lighten their mood. I came here shortly after they opened at 3:15 pm and was made to wait until a waiter came in for an accessible table. I spoke with Trista the manager who confirmed her hostess was correct in saying they don't open the tables until 3:30 pm. So if your disabled then you can't be sat until 3:30. I informed them this was against the ADA but the manager refused to acknowledge it. She doubled down on the fact they don't seat any tables until those servers who come in later arrive. I asked for another server to wait on us but again was told we had to wait. Finally we were sat and Eavin was great. Corporate needs to give this location ADA sensitivity and law training. read more

Texas Roadhouse never stops being crowded, located in front of Magnolia mall Florence. Waiting list on Friday starting at 6pm was 2 hrs 35 mins. It took that entire time & then some before seating about 9. We had shrimp appetizer 5 for $7.99 felt was overpriced but my wife loves her shrimp. Entree was Dallas fillet 6oz, I felt the presentation was Blah, but upon tasting was pleasantly surprised how good was. Sometimes appearances can be deceiving and this was our take away at Roadhouses. My wife's half rack ribs was tender fall off bone very delicious. This restaurant is a nice place for a juicy steak every now and then if you can afford a $65 bill for two. read more

It was pretty busy when we got there but our time to wait was only about 25 minutes which was not bad at all to me. Once we were seated our waitress acknowledged us right away and let me know she would be right back. Once she came back she took our drink order and let us know that the rolls weren't ready and that she would bring us some once they were. She was very nice, professional and personable with all of her tables. When we were ready to order she let us know that they didn't have baked potatoes at the moment. She that they would take about 30 minutes and once they were ready then we could order since that is what we wanted but it really only took about 15 minutes or so. I ordered the herb crusted chicken with a loaded baked potato and a salad. My girls both got the Andy's steak but one with a loaded baked potato and the other with steak fries. The only issue we had was both of the kids steak were supposed to be medium but both ended up being between rare and medium rare so they had to be taken back. Just leaving my local Texas Roadhouse, will never go to another one. Cold food, 2 of their staff were extremely unfriendly, 1 (Logan) was just plain rude. Every year we buy atleast $500 in gift cards and they give you a free appetizer (VIP card). We gift 100% of the gift cards to family and friends for Christmas. We never dine in but we would order to-go frequently. We are always told (every year) when we buy all of these giftcards that we can use the VIP card on the to-go orders, though we only have done so one time in the past 4 years we've been buying their Christmas gift card promo. Tonight while placing our $130 order i was wanting to add the fried onion and use the VIP car, but they said we can't do that, it must be dine in order. We are told EVERY YEAR that regardless it says on the card, (dine in only) that we can still use this card. I feel this is really shady to not honor it. It was only an 8 dollar appetizer, but given we literally spend over $3500 a year at this place, and have only tried to use this card twice and they go back on their word its rubbed me the wrong way. On Saturday August 9th at approximately 3:45p. while waiting for a table, I watched hostess/greeter Katelyn walk into the kitchen and help herself to a pickle..She brought the pickle back with her bare hands to the hostess stand. She put the pickle on receipt paper on top of the printer and then moved it to a plate. Food should not be on the hostess stand nor should staff be eating directly in front of customers. This is gross. I have no way of knowing if she used tongs to steal food from her job but she stole nonetheless. She is negligent in maintaining proper organization order when seating people. She completely ignored us for 10 minutes after said there was a table waiting us. She seems to have a comprehension issue as my fiance had to repeat his name (a common one at) three times before she understood. In the month of January, I attempted to celebrate two separate occasions at this establishment. On both occasions, the food was less than acceptable. Our server, Dillon did not seem as if he wanted to be bothered with guests on my latest visit, as every interaction was rushed and the server appeared impatient. When we decided to order, he was inattentive and sluggish at this moment. We watched others who came in after us receive a higher caliber of service. An older couple who had the same issue when their food came out received more attention, quality service, and corrective measures. Dillon had this table as well but didn't seem irritated when they didn't accept their second steak. Was on a business trip in Florence recently and made two stops at this place (because it's just that good). My go-to is always the country fried chicken with cream gravy, and it never fails to satisfy. The following day, I decided to try the ribeye for the first time, and it was a delightful choice! For starters - our server was wonderful. She was new and we given zero help from anyone all night. We were seated at 9pm and did not get our food until 10:30. When we were seated, we sat for a bit before someone came by, which was no big deal because it was busy; we get it. Our server finally comes over gets out appetizer and drink order. The apps were dropped before we got our drinks. The server (not our server) the dropped the app, and started to walk away. We call her back to ask for plates and silverware. We sit until about 9:45 when our server stops by to say she's checking on our food, and apologized. It's finally gets to be 10:15 and our server comes by to tell us they were working on our food now and again that she was sorry, no biggie. We then ask her if she could juts ask the kitchen to put out food in to-go boxes so we could just take it and we were ready to leave. She came back and told us the kitchen said no they couldn't put it in boxes because they were closing and had already put the food on our plates. At 10:30our food finally comes. Two of the meals had mashed potatoes as a side. Instead of telling us this before they brought out the food, the guy literally brought me a full sized plate with just an 8oz ribeye. He then told us that we could get something else...if they still had it. We also received wrong drinks from the bar, no refills and dirty plates piling up. I totally get that it's a Texas Roadhouse, but if I can't imagine as a manager having a table waiting on food for over an hour, and not at least going by to apologize. visited Texas Roadhouse today and I was highly disappointed with the food and the customer service. Upon entering with a party of 7 we asked if we could be seated at a table. My daughter is pregnant and could not fit in a booth. The person LOUDLY stated "We dont have any table for 7 people ". ok ma'am can you split it up? We win be able to do that she said LOUDLY. We were utterly embarrassed as we were holding up the line. Finally someone suggested a booth and placed a chair next to the booth for my daughter. I ordered fried catfish with seasoned rice and chili.. the chili came out 10 minutes before my meal and it was cold, salty and too spicy. The catfish had no seasoning and it was barely fried. I am honestly never going back there again. My family and I have frequented this restaurant very often and this was the first time I experienced such a lack of care regarding the food and the customer service. But for $40 the steak should have been prepared exactly as the customer requested. Let me write y'all a novel about why this place is a blazing dumpster fire full of horse crap and stinks twice as bad: they purposely discriminate against pregnant women. We checked in online ahead of time and showed up at our estimated reservation time. A female server attempted to seat us at a booth despite having 2 people in our party that would not be able to fit. We requested a table. They told us we'd have to get on the wait-list and wait for a table. We saw that there were 2 available tables and asked about them. They said it wouldn't fit our party and they couldn't push the table together because it was a "fire hazard". Despite this, they allowed crowds exceeding the number of 10 to block the exit to the building which showed very little regard for customer safety. A second server got involved and says he could clear off two tables for us and that he'd be right back. A third server decided to get involved and told us that unfortunately we would have to get on the wait-list again. I tried to ask her about the male server who said he'd be right back, but she cut me off and gave me all sorts of attitude. She was clenching her teeth and bobbing her head and being super sassy. Then, our original server comes up and calls our party name. She leads us back to the exact same both they tried to seat us at originally that we already said we couldn't fit in because of the pregnant bellies in our party. We just left at that point. While traveling we stopped for the night in Florence S.C. and wanted to go somewhere for dinner. At home we had eaten at Texas Roadhouse several times and always enjoyed our meals. We found a Texas Roadhouse near our hotel and decided to go there for dinner. We were seated right away and the waitress came to our table to get our drink order within minutes. Both my wife's and my meal were prepared to order. My ribeye was perfectly cooked and my wife got sirloin tips that she loved. Our waitress was very attentive to us checking several times to see if there was anything we needed.
