The staff is wonderful and that's hard for a chain. The management is responsive and always willing to go out of their way. Food is consistent throughout the chain. So value for your dollar is average to slightly above. The reason for the lack of stars is that for YEARS....yes....YEARS we have asked why they don't have WiFi access. While it's not imperative, even though fast food offers it, apparently corporate has decided it doesn't want to accommodate their guests. It is time for the suits in corporate to respond and take the grief off the local management, who cover them on a daily basis. No one wants to rock-the-boat and keep their cushy job. Food was pretty decent, but everything had way too much salt on it; even the margaritas had too much salt on the run. Friendly staff though.

This was a very good experience despite the 30 minute wait to be seated. Careful about the endless bread though, you can fill up quick and end up taking most of your entree home. Everything ordered was excellent. read more

Well after the waitress messed up and charged me for a dinner portion instead of a lunch portion( she asked me for 2 sides instead of 1 which I guess means I ordered the dinner ). The worst Texas Roadhouse I've been to ever. First them messing up our supposed hour wait which ended up being 1hour and 45mins. Then the drinks were sub par. The food was extremely sub par out of 5 steaks only one was cooked correctly and not extremely dry . One of the two burgers was so rare I thought it was going to moo at us. Oh and let's not forget the sides that we had to get to go because the kitchen guy "went out" our waitress said? Who knows , but what I do know is that I will not return here to this specific Texas Roadhouse. If you enjoy dry overcooked tbone/ribeye and a side of disappoinment or raw hamburger and not receiving your sides until you leave then this place is for you . Texas Roadhouse is a safe bet for a good stake! No issues there. Unfortunately the TR location in Lima Ohio has a serious problem. Apparently management never goes into the (men's) bathroom. Even after apparent cleaning the bathroom is so disgusting, the thought of it makes it impossible to have a descent dining experience. To make things worse, this same issue has been posted before (below). Apparently they don't read Yelp reviews either. Love this place! Service is usually great, food is always fantastic. Don't go here often as the prices are pretty expensive for the amount of food you get. They cook the steak right every time. My favorite thing funny enough though are the rolls and cinnamon butter they give you. Servers are pretty fast about getting drink/roll refills. The wait times, however, are brutal most of the time. Even when they aren't that busy, they seem to give you wait times like they're swarmed. If you have enough patience to be seated and get your food, I think it's worth it! read more

Would have given this place 4 stars but they have a terrible policy that says a party cannot be seated until everyone arrives. One of my coworkers was caught in traffic so the rest of us had to stand against a wall for over an hour until she arrived. The manager told us we could order appitizers and drinks but we would have had to stand to eat and drink with no place to put them down. The bar staff is attentive and kind. The drinks are generously sized. The prices are very reasonable. The steaks are really quite good and mine was cooked the way I requested. The rolls are so so, but I'm not there for them. It's a loud environment with lots of TVs but it didn't bother me because I know what I am getting when I go there. read more

Wow! It was my first place in Texas Roadhouse and I was a bit sceptical until I walked in. It looks awesome inside and the vibe was awesome. Our 8 people party was seated pretty quickly and we moved on to making an order. Prices weren't the lowest, but as it turned out later it was worth it. My stake was exactly as it was supposed to be. Place was a total zoo with people standing in traffic jams everywhere. Bathrooms had lines 5 women deep, and prime rib was definitely not an end cut, and it tasted like hot dogs. HOT DOGS??!! Just left here horrified I had already ordered my food and then made the mistake going to the restroom the restrooms were deplorable they were so dirty and two out of the three were out of order the sink was leaking all over the floor papers I'll kinds of stuff everywhere after visiting the restroom I was nauseated to think what the kitchen would look like! I informed 2 waitresses about the mess and they both passed it off and said it's a problem with the hostess staff because the are suppose to check them every 30 minutes!!! Today's dinner at Texas Roadhouse (in Lima, OH) was as close as perfect can be! We arrived around 5 (our usual time is 6:00) and we were seated immediately. We used my birthday coupon for a free appetizer. It was very hot -- which is what it should be. We didn't get very far on the onion blossom and our salads arrived. My husband chose to delete some of the salad toppings which was appreciated. And we prefer our salad dressing on the side which it was. By the time salads were almost over, our meals arrived. Both my chicken and potatoes were very hot and that is how I like it. (That doesn't always happen at restaurants.) Drink refills were dropped off before we asked. There was nothing to find fault about. We were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary. It was very pleasant. read more

I always enjoy visiting Texas Roadhouse and writing great reviews about my experience. In fact I use Texas Roadhouse as an example for my students on how to provide excellent customer service based on how well I am treated compared to other local dining establishments by pointing out how friendly your staff is and how they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Unfortunately my last visit was anything but excellent. The food was good, as always, but our waiter COURTAD was anything but courteous. In fact I was a little embarrassed since I invited an ex military friend from out of state that I haven't seen in over 25 years to dine at what I always considered the areas best place to eat. Our waiter wasn't rude, but certainly not friendly, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience to him. When we politely pointed out a mistake on our order he made sure to let us know that he did nothing wrong and initially blamed a guest in my party then later blamed the cook. We witnessed him argue with other staff members and he even took the tip off the table as soon as we put it down without waiting for us to leave, like he just wanted to get rid of us. I know that this is not the type of service that you normally provide, and I understand that everyone has bad days, but I just wanted to bring it to your attention that when a customer doesn't feel welcome, especially when showing off your restaurant to out of town guests, then it's very likely that we will chose somewhere else to dine the next time. read more

I would give zero stars if I could because we never got fed. My wife and I went there for a date night on a Friday. We got a pager but the batteries needed to be replaced, got another pager and watched people who came after us were seated. I went up and asked a young blond hair kid who was working at the hostess station what was going on his reply was they were all call ahead seating, and we would be the next ones to be seated. The whole time this blond haired kid would look over at me and smirk! This went on for about an hour. The straw that broke the camels back was when another couple came in and was seated immediately. I went up to the couple and asked if the called ahead and they said no. Needless to say, but this time we had had enough and left. On the way home, we called and talked to the night manager, as expected, he bragged up his staff working the hostess station and he said he would send us out a $30.00 gift coupon as an apology and we would receive it probably in two to three days. Well here it is a month later and we are still waiting!!One thing I was taught is a man is only as good as his word. This speaks volumes as far as the character of the night manager that Friday night!!! read more
