Sirloin & Tenders with loaded Sweet Potato
    Sydney P.

This experience was a home run! Typically for a Saturday night date night we wait a good bit, however this trip was different we only waited 15 minutes. Our server was so sweet and although her section was filled she was always very attentive and took great care of us! We both came hungry and indulged in a 12 oz sirloin and tenders with loaded potatoes and salads. I always get my steak medium with extra seasoning and oh man it hit the spot!! It was so juicy and tender. It was a wonderful date night and we will be back!

we went there last night. we had a coupon for a free blooming onion and it was pretty good. I ordered the 11oz. steak with a house salad and fries. everything turned out great. my wife ordered the filet with a salad and seasoned rice. she enjoyed her meal as well. the only complaint I have it's noisy in there. compared to the outback or cattleman's it's 22 times louder but that's their atmosphere. overall, everything was great! our waitress was Georgia and she did a wonderful job. will return.

The wait was only 10min! But it was crowded for Thurs night. However, we got service, and food in a timely manner. I do miss the peanuts on the floor though, but they did do a bday "Yeee-haw" for an 11yo at the next table. In the end it was a bit pricey, $65 for two dining in.

Rolls. Steak. Salad. Texas Roadhouse will always be delicious. Question: is Texas Roadhouse busy every night of the week? I believe the answer is yes - and it seems to me that the staff handles that max capacity so well!

Does this look like a medium well to you it looks well done and it had a burnt taste thanks for the worst meal ever thanks guys you really l

I go to Texas Roadhouse once or twice every week I work out of town I went to the Somerset ky one I ordered a 8oz steak potato and Mac and cheese and I ordered cheese and bacon for the potatoes and the Mac and cheese didn't get it even though I paid almost $3extra no big deal but I went go ahead and eat as soon as I bite into the steak it medium rare I ordered medium well so I decided to take it back the mang acted as it was no big deal he took my plate back to the kitchen and came back with a steak that was burnt when I said it didn't look like a 8oz steak he said it's the same one I bought back which not gonna lie it made me upset because I thought he would cook a fresh steak but he was very rude I had to have one the carry out girl to get my bacon and cheese he simply didn't care his name was Devin needles to say I won't eat there ever again I was going to post a picture of my steak but it's not giving me the option to do so just remember if you go there check your food before you leave really up set I stay in a hotel all week and I like a good meal but it won't be at this restaurant ever again it

Did not have a good experience at all ordered the Steak kabobs and was supposed to come on a bed of rice and didn't ... and the green beans... they were good ... rice finally out stated they had to make some .. couldn't understand why you delivered the meal without it. Ordered a margarita was very weak. Service not so good. Ambiance restaurant. No pics except the bread ordered the steak medium well and was well done I wanted them tender not what I received.

This place is our "comfort" steakhouse. This the most consistently exquisite steak around - despite numerous trips, they're always grilled to mouth-watering perfection! I recommend the 20oz Bone-In Ribeye and splitting it with your loved one... perfect couples dinner. Get your sides (recommend the crunchy Caesar salad & delicious plain Sweet Potato), maybe add a Sangria Margarita... and life is good Despite trying more expensive and heralded steaks around, you can't go wrong here. Long live the best deal around!

Ya know, for an easy meal for the fam, Texas Roadhouse is pretty good. We went here today for lunch. Quick side tip: Texas Roadhouse is open for lunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We were able to get a table quickly, and our server was quick to bring out drinks, rolls (my favorite!) and peanuts. And best of all: Everyone was able to find something to eat. I got the Chicken Critter Salad -- eating "critters" is not very appetizing, but this included crispy chicken tenders on cold greens with jack and cheddar cheeses, egg, tomato and bacon. I'm not normally big on salads, but this one was great. My husband got a pork chop that he liked. My kids each got the mac and cheese meal with applesauce on the side, with milk. And my in-law's shared some ribs. Everyone was happy! Texas Roadhouse isn't generally my jam, but in the right circumstances, it definitely hits the spot. (It's also HQ'ed in Louisville, so there's a bit of "local" with it as well.) It's a good option to have.

If you've read my other reviews for Texas Roadhouse you know the atmosphere just isn't my thing. Saying that, my mom chose it for her birthday lunch and our party of 8 were well taken care of, including the "yee haw" announcement. I opted for the 6 oz sirloin and it was cooked as requested, plus a salad and upgraded side of mac & cheese. This is more than enough food coupled with the rolls and butter. The team also honored a couple of free items on coupons, including the kids meal and onion starter. Our server was energetic and friendly, plus got our order down solid and kept us happy with requests throughout the meal. I really appreciate someone that understands their energy impacts the experience and expectations. Waiting areas are inside and outside, although people come outside to smoke near those seats. This is a busy, busy location due to the mall and neighborhood surrounding it. Be careful in the parking lot, and watch small kids coming and going to the car.

Melts in your mouth and well seasoned. We loved the Mac and cheese, my wife is particular about that and this met her standards. The vinegar slaw was perfectly tangy and refreshing. And the sweet potato fries are exactly what you need to dip into those sauces. Get the hot bbq sauce and add the vinegar sauce!! Even as I type I have a nice warmth in my mouth and throat. It made me star dipping everything in the sauce- slaw included!! Burgoo is fantastic!! With a gentle heat, I would get it alone if it came in a big bowl! With so much meat, corn, Lima beans, and carrots but it is the broth (sauce?) that gets you hooked. We had the Ale8-1 Burton slushy, which is sweet and refreshing on a hot day. The only things our group actually enjoyed were the coleslaw and the tater tots. Even the potato salad tasted store-bought and appeared to come straight from a carton rather than being homemade. Most of us ended up leaving a good portion of food on our plates. For the price, it just wasn't worth it. That said, the staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the visit, and they did have a really good selection of beers. I hate leaving negative reviews because the service side of the experience was great -- we were just very disappointed with the food.

"Doctor, doctor, give me the news I've got a bad case of…read morelovin' you" (Robert Palmer) Doc Crow's two locations (Indianapolis and Louisville) specialize in Southern cuisine, so you'll see pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes, gumbo, pulled pork, brisket, ribs, okra, and jambalaya on the menu. Four of us had an excellent experience for our dinner in Louisville, and besides the food, a lot of that experience was due to our server, Julie. She was great, super friendly and professional, and expertly answered a ton of Bourbon-related questions from my Bourbon loving friend. My wife and I dove into the Southern theme and had a Pulled Pork Sandwich ($16), Southern Colada ($16), Fried Green Tomatoes ($10), and a Southern Gumbo ($10) for dinner. I ordered the Fried Gren Tomatoes to share with the table, and they were wonderful - "Five full moon green tomatoes fried in cornmeal and panko, topped with fresh chives and served with Doc's Remoulade". They were light as a feather, most definitely non-greasy and had a great crunch from the panko and cornmeal. My Southern Gumbo (A hearty stew filled with andouille sausage, chicken and vegetables in savory Cajun broth served over rice. Served with cornbread) was excellent. Great flavor, great spice, plenty of sausage and chicken, and excellent accompaniments in the rice and cornbread. And how could I not mention my Southern Colada, with Michter's US*1 Sour Mash, Pineapple Juice & Coconut. It was quite a bit stronger than any Colada I ever had, but I guess that can be expected when you use an 86-proof small batch Kentucky whiskey in your Colada. Of course, I loved it. This was our second visit to Doc Crow. We were there a few days ago as the first stop on our Louisville food tour and enjoyed a delicious bowl of shrimp and grits. The Doc sure treated us well. PRO TIP Be sure to check out the Doc's jaw dropping collection of bourbon bottles that seem to dominate the various rooms wherever you look.

The restaurant includes a long row of bar seating that extends to the other end of the restaurant, so there was no problem for me to find a seat on a busy day. I ordered the Mac n cheese and braised greens, and the Mac n cheese was really good and creamy. The braised greens were just okay, it wasn't the best greens I've had and it could use extra flavor. I don't know if this is a thing they do at Doc Crow's, but in my opinion the bartender excessively kept asking me what I wanted even while I was still looking at the menu. This definitely frustrated me since it was clear that I wasn't ready yet. I think she should have done a better job reading my cues to figure out when I am ready to order.

There are also picnic tables out front. You get a faint whiff of the grill/smoker upon entering. Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.

Menu isn't extensive but good items and variety that will satisfy anyone's appetite. It was Father's Day but as soon as it opened they were quickly filled with patrons and people kept coming; even waiting to get in. The fries in duck fat were awesome. Since so many baskets of fries like this for a long time. The smoked wings are great, meaty and savory. I had the pork belly tacos; my only disappointment was you only get 2 per order. The fine combination of ingredients were splendid and the pork belly so tender. My wife had the bbq pork sandwich on pretzel bun. Very good tasting and this was with no bbq sauce on it. If you're in the area, do yourself a a favor and stop in. I can't wait to go back ( as we live in southern Indiana) so might be a bit but definitely want to try a few other items.
