This location is always packed! The yeast rolls with cinnamon butter are reason enough to keep people coming back. Side salads come in a chilled bowl and I love that. And they have great ranch!

Food is fine, service is usually average, got the waiting list still waiting, ambulance is usually noisy at Texas Roadhouse so it's expected..

    Medium? Not quite.

Let me preface this by saying we are fans of Texas Roadhouse, but hadn't been here in a while. Sat at the bar on a Tuesday night. Plenty of room and service was great. We both ordered the 6oz sirloin, medium, but my wife's steak was way undercooked. She didn't say anything but didn't finish it. My steak was a thinner cut so may have stayed on the grill the same amount of time but was a true medium. Green beans were the best I've ever had. Chili was tasty but not hot - more like lukewarm. Our overall experience was fine but nothing to write home about. We will go back and hope the kitchen has more attention to detail next time.

We were given a Texas Roadhouse gift card so there we went to enjoy dinner. It's an old fashion steak house who use to have peanut shells & straw on the floor but no longer, the peanuts came in a bucket-still fun. Started off with tall, cold beer, Manhattan cocktail, & delicious rolls w/whipped honey cinnamon butter. Dinner is started with a salad, steaks were cooked perfectly, grill shrimp, side dishes delicious, we passed on dessert. The staff was very attentive, ambiance was comfortable & entertaining. We will definitely go back for a reasonably priced meal.

We haven't been to Texas Roadhouse since we left Texas 4 years ago. So, this was a touch of nostalgia for us. We were stunned to see the place crammed at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. But there was plenty of staff and we were promptly greeted with a basket of fabulous warm rolls and sweet butter. We each started with a side salad. Lettuce, shredded carrots, shredded cheese, a token cherry tomato or two and egg. Nothing special, but a good start. My wife ordered the 6 oz sirloin and I went with the 8 oz NY strip. She added a sweet potato, I chose the standard baked potato. So you know, the loaded sweet potato (an up charge) adds marshmallows, brown sugar, sour cream and about a thousand other calories. She passed. Her steak was a disappointment. Chewy, mealy and slightly overdone. I felt it was on a par with Outback and that's hardly high praise. My strip steak was tender, perfectly seared with a crisp bark and expertly seasoned. Winner by a knockout. The baked potato was excellent. Kosher salt on the skin made it nice and crispy while the potato was done all the way through. Some margarine. A little salt & pepper. Ouila. A final thought. Roadhouse has payment kiosks at each table. And to keep you entertained, there are trivia games. Wanna play? It will cost you $2. Hardly a deal breaker, but full disclosure wasn't obvious.

It's a favorite restaurant in my family. The quality of the meat is always good. If you make a reservation on the website with a waiting list in advance, you won't have to wait long. You can pay the bill at the table, so you don't have to wait for a server.

Our group of 10 ended up at a large high top table sitting near the bar area. It was an especially busy night since many patrons were apparently there for a fundraiser dine-in the same as our group. We waited for a table for about 40 minutes and cooled our jets at the bar in the meantime. Menu had the expected beef steak options; however, we had some vegans in our group who were able to be accommodated with multiple options. I went with a steakhouse filet salad comprised of mixed salad greens topped with tender filet strips (requested medium), Bleu Cheese crumbles, bacon bits, red onions, tomatoes and croutons, and served with a side of creamy Bleu Cheese and also Italian dressing. Presentation was great and the filet was cooked medium and perfectly per request. This went great with the ice cold beer in a frosty mug. Waitstaff were wonderful and handled our table (and more) like a champ. Our waiter was able to attend to us when needed and then some -- waters, drinks, plates, silverware, straws, butter, rolls, food service, refills, to-go boxes, final separate bills with credit, cash, and change. His attitude was a 10+. Great dinner and glad the restaurant was willing to support a great cause. Plan to return.

I'll have to give my experience a 3 star tonight. Texas Roadhouse is a very busy joint and I have no issues with them usually. My problem this time was just the food quality wasn't where you'd expect it to be. My food (Beef Tips Plate) came out just warm. Everything tasted as if it had been sitting for a minute before they brought it out. My silverware was dirty and the glasses we had our drinks in felt gritty on the outside. This is not the usual experience that we have at Texas Roadhouse so I'll just chalk it up to a not so stellar night but wanted to let you guys know.

Fried pickles, there were a little salty though. But good with the dipping sauce.

Great service from the start. Fast seating. Then again it is lunch time. Our waitress Lyza was on point: very friendly and helpful. Wonderful job taking orders and bringing drinks out promptly. Food was just as fast. She also brought out refill on our drinks just as fast. Austin the manager was making rounds and stopped in to check on us. Very friendly and let us know if there was anything he could do to help to reach out. Super nice people all around. Very impressed with service and food.

First thing first.. The rolls were DELICIOUS. Overall, this place was surprisingly good for a nice little bit and it being a chain. Steak, salad, and drinks were all delicious on top of good service and all at a reasonable price. Might swing by again!

Melts in your mouth and well seasoned. We loved the Mac and cheese, my wife is particular about that and this met her standards. The vinegar slaw was perfectly tangy and refreshing. It made me star dipping everything in the sauce- slaw included!! Burgoo is fantastic!! With a gentle heat, I would get it alone if it came in a big bowl! With so much meat, corn, Lima beans, and carrots but it is the broth (sauce?) that gets you hooked. We had the Ale8-1 Burton slushy, which is sweet and refreshing on a hot day. The only things our group actually enjoyed were the coleslaw and the tater tots. Even the potato salad tasted store-bought and appeared to come straight from a carton rather than being homemade. Most of us ended up leaving a good portion of food on our plates. For the price, it just wasn't worth it. That said, the staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the visit, and they did have a really good selection of beers. I hate leaving negative reviews because the service side of the experience was great -- we were just very disappointed with the food.

Four of us had an excellent experience for our dinner in Louisville, and besides the food, a lot of that experience was due to our server, Julie. She was great, super friendly and professional, and expertly answered a ton of Bourbon-related questions from my Bourbon loving friend. My wife and I dove into the Southern theme and had a Pulled Pork Sandwich ($16), Southern Colada ($16), Fried Green Tomatoes ($10), and a Southern Gumbo ($10) for dinner. I ordered the Fried Gren Tomatoes to share with the table, and they were wonderful - "Five full moon green tomatoes fried in cornmeal and panko, topped with fresh chives and served with Doc's Remoulade". They were light as a feather, most definitely non-greasy and had a great crunch from the panko and cornmeal. My Southern Gumbo (A hearty stew filled with andouille sausage, chicken and vegetables in savory Cajun broth served over rice. Served with cornbread) was excellent. Great flavor, great spice, plenty of sausage and chicken, and excellent accompaniments in the rice and cornbread. And how could I not mention my Southern Colada, with Michter's US*1 Sour Mash, Pineapple Juice & Coconut. It was quite a bit stronger than any Colada I ever had, but I guess that can be expected when you use an 86-proof small batch Kentucky whiskey in your Colada. Of course, I loved it. This was our second visit to Doc Crow. We were there a few days ago as the first stop on our Louisville food tour and enjoyed a delicious bowl of shrimp and grits. The Doc sure treated us well. PRO TIP Be sure to check out the Doc's jaw dropping collection of bourbon bottles that seem to dominate the various rooms wherever you look.

The restaurant includes a long row of bar seating that extends to the other end of the restaurant, so there was no problem for me to find a seat on a busy day. I ordered the Mac n cheese and braised greens, and the Mac n cheese was really good and creamy. The braised greens were just okay, it wasn't the best greens I've had and it could use extra flavor. I don't know if this is a thing they do at Doc Crow's, but in my opinion the bartender excessively kept asking me what I wanted even while I was still looking at the menu. This definitely frustrated me since it was clear that I wasn't ready yet. I think she should have done a better job reading my cues to figure out when I am ready to order.

Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.

Menu isn't extensive but good items and variety that will satisfy anyone's appetite. It was Father's Day but as soon as it opened they were quickly filled with patrons and people kept coming; even waiting to get in. The fries in duck fat were awesome. Since so many baskets of fries like this for a long time. The smoked wings are great, meaty and savory. I had the pork belly tacos; my only disappointment was you only get 2 per order. The fine combination of ingredients were splendid and the pork belly so tender. My wife had the bbq pork sandwich on pretzel bun. Very good tasting and this was with no bbq sauce on it. If you're in the area, do yourself a a favor and stop in. I can't wait to go back ( as we live in southern Indiana) so might be a bit but definitely want to try a few other items.
